Lovely place, we had take away, will sit in next time.

Beautiful setting! Indoors or out it is a lovely place to relax, enjoy a tasty meal or maybe a scone or delicious cake. Coffee is very good too. Staff are polite and cheerful and keep everything very clean.

Absolutely wonderful gig in The Humbie Hub... Great community facility and café.
Fantastic staff.
J. B.
Lovely café with really friendly staff. Pro tip: during COVID, it's only one person inside at once. Pro tip 2: hot food is available if you're just wanting a bacon sarnie, or similar...

Love going here when I get the chance. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Only visited briefly but loved it. It's a beautifully, arty, colourful cafe, post office and shop, with a good range of organic produce and fresh local eggs, bread, veggies. Lovely people. We just had some tea, so can't comment on the food, but the menu looks very enticing. Wheelchair access and disabled parking around the back. I'm pretty sure they also have an accessible toilet, but do check it out first.

I recently moved to the area and my partner and I are big fans of Humbie Hub! The shop stocks all the essentials and the cafe is absolutely brilliant quality food. We're frequent visitors now and always find the staff so friendly too!

Such a delightful cafe and shop to visit.
Delicious home made food, great coffee and cakes...
The staff are always welcoming, helpful and polite.
Privileged to feel so looked after and cared for.
All this bustled in the foothills of the of the Lammamuir Hills.
Such a bright lovely place

Great wee cafe, with fresh food choices using locally sourced produce. Seems to be a favourite stop off point for cyclists. Parking available, also an electric top up point for cars. Dog and child friendly! Amble outdoor seating for those sunny days. Fab deli and gift shop if you fancy a wee bit of shopping. There are also workshops available for hire. A small hub that packs a mighty punch!

5stars because it does what it claims very well. Service quick and friendly, delicious breakfast (scrambled egg and smoked salmon on cheese and herb scone with tea) and on we went. We go maybe every six months sometimes in the garden with grandchildren. Often lots of cyclists. Good cakes and puddings, though no time for them this time. Good shop, often with nice bread.
D. L.
Great wee cafe. Well worth a visit.
N. G.
Lovely place to go to relax with a cuppa, cake and friends. Dog friendly too 🥰
C. H.
Shop and cafe combined selling lots of local crafts and locally grown produce.
Lovely cafe, comfortable furnishings, good food, nice staff and great views to the hills. Definitely worth a visit.
A. F.
Great coffee and very nice hot rolls
T. B.
Pleasantly surprised to find vegan options - couldn't resist getting myself a pie and a carton of Oatly. The owner is lovely too and very helpful.

I had lunch with friends yesterday at the cafe. The food and coffee was great but more than one member of staff couldn’t be bothered wearing their masks over their mouths AND noses.
How much effort does it actually take to put your mask over your nose too, instead just breath all over the food we have to put In our mouths. Such a shame as it would’ve been a great experience there.
M. H.
First class food, service and atmosphere, we will definately be back!

What a lovely place. Just what a little village needs. Lovely food, giftware and general groceries. And breathtaking views of countryside
D. H.
Very friendly, excellent food, very tasty fruit teas & my husband says lovely banana bread.
D. M.
Lovely coffee stop whilst pootling around some very quiet roads. Had the Blondie(?) cake which sustained me for next 28mls or so...Will definitely be back.
R. M.
Great service and lovely food. Even when super busy with big cycling groups the staff stayed calm and polite and were apologetic for the short delay.
Lovely range of products in the shop too.

Great to see Humbie Hub open again. My brother and I cycled out there thisavo and enjoyed coffee and a scone. Friendly staff, good food and great views. It’s a regular stop of mine. 😎👍🏼 …

Wonderful resource and destination Point . Great gifts and post office. Lovely staff
D. M.
poppies are out beside the outdoor space. Nice cake, nice coffee, nice bacon roll. Boom.
C. R.
Great place to stop for a coffee and slice of cake. Sit outside if weather permits for lovely views.
A. N. C.
Don't take cards below £5, costly but theres not another option. Standard of service and quality of food and drinks is quite good but cakes have significant room for development. The breakfast rolls are good.
K. F.
Good selection of fresh food available for takeout, and friendly, helpful staff.
S. C.
Lovely wee cafe at Humbie, nice options on menu, cakes and coffee and dog friendly.
D. C.
Top notch stop on a bike run. Great coffee and food. Good spot to sir outside.
B. S.
A great little cafe in Humbie. Fresh, tasty cakes and savory treats. Well worth a visit. Nice little garden out the back with views of the Lammermuir hills. Good service and friendly staff. Also a little gift shop. Lots of local made art works for sale too.
D. G.
Excellent menu, interesting shop and a large outside area, popular with cyclists, which is also ideal for dog walkers.
D. G. B.
Wonderful place with a cafe for hot drinks, lunches and home baking. Great convenience shop with gift section and a post office too! Great staff in a superb location.
M. F.
Lovely place. Food delicious. Lovely staff. Lots of lovely goodies to buy. Will be back.
G. T.
The local shop next to my work premises, local produce sold at reasonable prices unless you want a really posh pie at £4 (there is other great pies that are cheaper). If your lucky to try the scones, they are a delight. Not used the cafe yet as mostly out and about with work, so no time to use it. It is a little expensive looking at the menu for a cheap tea and scone if sitting in but the portions look a good size and never seen any disgruntled customers. The community of Humbie shop in it mostly and with tourists dropping in on route via car or bicycle, it's has a beautiful outdoors seating area looking on to the Scottish Lothians.

Handy for Glenkinchie distillery. Lovely area. Seating inside and out. Simple food but good, great for lunch.
I would prefer people ditched Tetley tea, it's so bad but food is good.

Humble Hub is an inspiration, a real community hub that encompasses accommodation, a Post Office, a grocery store with local produce, fresh fruit and veg, and an excellent cafe. There are even beauty treatment rooms on site too. The staff are all welcoming and friendly and Morag (the manager) is a real star. The first floor flat is over the shop and cafe and is exceptionally clean, light, and airy with fab views. It is very comfortable, with nice furnishings and plenty of space for 6. Dogs are welcome too :-) Great for visiting Edinburgh or North Berwick. It's a busy little gem with real community spirit. Highly recommended.

A little gem, with a range of services. Great cafe. We had the Humbie breakfast, which was very good. Staff are friendly, and the place itself is top notch. There is a post office counter and little shop, too.
C. J.
I stumbled upon this little gem of a place last weekend ! A beautiful, neatly arranged little convenience store, with lovely gifts, a post office, gorgeous fresh produce and a cracking cafe (can eat both inside or al fresco)! Surrounded by glorious countryside views.
A. P.
Visited on recommend of a friend, my wife and I were not disappointed, we both had lasagne with salad, can only say food was great as well as service by pleasant staff. Will definitely continue to visit.

C. 1.
Home baking was fantastic, millionaire shortcake was the best I've tasted, bread was amazing. Staff lovely and I only went in for directions
N. P.
Great it's open on a Saturday but the woman thinks your a mind reader to know the empty chairs are for those queuing to enter the shop rather than for customers who have already been in and purchased snacks
J. C.
