I was there by chance. Rent a house nearby on a business trip. Nice staff, and the breakfast was good. Very good value for money. Simple food served with much love. Gracias!

The question really is what you're looking for. The establishment had "cafe" in its title, but the emphasis is on a Mediterranean restaurant. Which accords well with the area, with it's multiple ethnic foodways. But I wouldn't recommend for coffee! PS It's very interesting fire me that the owner offers a *visitor book*! I have studied these wonderfully interesting artifacts, and can spend hours reading it.

First breakfast while on my trip in Edinburgh and this surely did not disappoint! My meal was exactly as expected and staff did everything to make me feel welcomed and satisfied. Value for money was the icing on the cake. Would definitely come back.

very lovely place. the atmosphere was so cozy and warm, the staff were very kind and helpful. nicely decorated which really adds to the experience. they have a great food selection and the chai latte i had tasted amazing!

Stumbled upon this gem while charity shopping. Cozy, warm, inviting. Homemade food, great price, delicious. The owner gave us a dessert with poppy seed which was delicious, not overly sweet -as many dessert are, I find- and complemented our Turkish coffee very well. Will recommend and would back again!

A delightful, family-run cafe with a homely feel and decor. The food is amazing and you can taste all the love the owners put into their food. I had Simit, Turkish coffee, and Turmeric &White Lemon drink. I was very pleasantly surprised by the owner offering me an absolutely delicious dessert - Kadayif. I will definitely be coming back as the menu is quite different from what you would usually see in Edinburgh and I can not wait for the next delicious discovery. I have my eye on some of the homemade cakes and pastries! :) Thank you for a lovely Sunday breakfast Medo Cafe!

I was looking for a Turkish breakfast place on my birthday and found this gem. This is a lovely cafe and it has a great selection of breakfast and lunch. We had a Turkish breakfast which was excellent. Service and quality both wonderful. And staff was so amazing!

Absolutely lovely staff, and even lovelier cuisine! Variety of foods like wraps, burgers, traditional Balkan food, and desserts, beautifully served in a cosy atmosphere. Great location too - just behind Haymarket. Prices are affordable, especially for the quality of food that's served there! Honestly, can't wait to try the entire menu! 🤩😁🤤

Great wee local cafe. We had a lovely Mediterranean lunch and coffee. Staff were really friendly and even treated us to a slice cake before we left, which was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Warm welcoming atmosphere with amazing food.
