Entered, left with a food coma. Ordered the bruch sausage special, absolutely full of flavour and the most fluffy, creamy scrambled eggs I have ever had! The cheesecake was not overly flavoured, you could still taste the cheesecake (of that make sense) which made it just right for me. Lovely service from all staff and they asked every custome rhow their day had been going. Will visit again soon 🙂

Lovely coffee, but £3.30 for an americano with a bit of oat milk is far too expensive - more expensive than in London! Please take into account the amount of non-dairy milk you're giving the customer. If you've had to substitute dairy milk for a milky coffee like latte, cappuccino, etc. then 50p surcharge is fine. But applying it to coffee with hot water is a bit much. Good service overall, but the price doesn't warrant future visits, especially since there are other coffee shops around serving equally good coffee for a lesser price.

Great flat white and really good brunch. We had salmon and sausages both of which were very tasty and the sourdough was very good too, although the menu said it was seaweed sourdough and I couldn't taste or see evidence of that! Very friendly service and a nice atmosphere but when the roadworks start up (it was Saturday so quiet) I imagine it's different. On the down side, poached eggs were just ok (a couple were not runny) and avoid the scrambled egg unless you want to pay top prices for microwaved egg...I'm glad I asked what it was like and glad they were honest because seeing other people order it, it looked as dry as anyone would expect. £8.50 is enough to make decent eggs in a pan imo.

Lovely little coffee shop and friendly service. The coffee and cake was lovely the breakfast and brunch menu looked appealing. There was a sign to say it has the best toilet facilities, I think there is plenty of room for improvement. However it's worth noting they have a baby changing table.

We're always keen to find good coffee in Edinburgh, this place definitely provides it. Good rich strong Americano and flat white. Lunches and brunches are available - we stayed for a soup, but the sandwiches and wraps also look good. Good environment for sitting, chatting, reading. Staff are friendly.

The food and cakes here is always top notch but it is a little pricey so it's more of a treat than an every day place to go for lunch. They do a nice range of salads and sandwiches and wraps with inventive ingredients and a good mix of healthy and indulgent options. The cakes and baked goods are hard to resist and always look absolutely perfect. The staff are okay but not chatty and can be a little slow at busy times. The coffee is very good I'm told (not a coffee drinker myself) so over all a nice place to go at quiet times or to have a treat for lunch.

A lovely little gem in Leith with the best Flat White coffee I've ever had! The service is great and the owners are so friendly. Great cakes and plenty seating and free WiFi. Prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend a visit to this little cafe.

Oo I do love the Printworks, I think what really does it for me is the awesome coffee and the fresh ingredients. When you want a bacon roll that doesn't consist of reheated bacon and oily eggs, I always go here, fresh, tasty yum! Lovely service, great location, keep up the good work!

A stalwart of the Shore coffee scene. This cozy cafe is a favourite among locals for its good coffee, friendly service and excellent paninis. There's outdoors seating great for sunny days and plenty of indoor seating too. I like to sit in the window with a coffee and one of their salted caramel brownies and take in the morning.

My partner is a regular customer and when I was in the area on the walk with my 2.5 yo daughter, I popped in to order a take away coffee and babycino for the little one. I had a free coffee on our loyalty card and when it came to paying, staff charge me for the coffee. When I pointed out that I have a free one, they said that babycino was my free hot drink and I have to pay full price for a coffee. I don’t think it’s fair to call ‘4 teaspoons of milk foam in espresso size takeaway cup’ a hot drink! Unfortunately the staff were uncompromised, which left my experience with the Printoworks a bit bitter. Coffee was tasty though and my feedback does not reflect the quality of the product. Side note: it’s time to join the XXI century and cater for milk allergies and intolerance for NO EXTRA costs (like most places do). Charging extra for the milk alternative is a rip off!

I think this is my preferred cafe in this bit of Leith. Friendly staff and the soups and cakes are delightful - perhaps too tempting. Recommended, and frankly much better than Rocksalt, which is next door, for its staff attitude alone.
