Really unique design inside. Cafe is bigger on the inside that you would expect. Plenty of seats and tables xnd a good range of drinks and treats. Service was quick and friendly.

Starbucks has higher prices. Although, they also have a higher quality. Personally, I think that they're better than Costa coffee... More like cost-a-fortune. I think the lady that served us was new, so I will not criticise on how knowledgable nor fast she was. Of which this was up to a good standard. Although, I've had better experiences. Surprisingly this store didn't smell too strongly of coffee. Which was nice and comfortable, as sometimes this can be overwhelming. I'm not sure if the cakes and pastries are made fresh nor If they are homemade. Although, they're okay for what they are. They're cinimon swirls are one of the better ones I've had from a coffe shop. Although, their cookies taste a bit flowery and their croissants are very stale. I went around 10am. I'm not sure if I would have had a better experience with the cakes earlier in the morning. They also nearly all the time have all the products they offer. Unlike Costa who is nearly all the time out of white chocolate syrup. Overall, good store, reasonable prices, good staff, okay food. Prefere them to Costa. Should aspire to be more like the Starbucks in Edinburgh centre & find a way to keep their cakes as tastey as when they're just made - of which I am yet to experience.

It looks good and it was Starbucks. The coffee and food was to their usual high standard but the atmosphere was a little "cool". It is a new location and may take time to "warm up". .. plenty of room , comfy seats and clean facilities so pay it a visit.

It was a Saturday, but even with the pandemic going on it felt a wee bit busy as there was quite a lot of kids and a long queue compared to other places. Must wear mask until you have your drink/food unless exempt on health grounds or young and until you are seated or back outside. Watch out for the hand gel machine at the door.. use it, but be aware it sometimes sprays all over your clothes.. esp be careful if smaller kids use it, could spray in to eyes. Teenagers not wearing masks when they have to at school felt uncomfortable. Staff were polite. Vegan snacks and drinks available. No dogs inside, which was often not the case before. No plastic straws. Toilets inc disabled facilities and baby changing available. Can sit in, use limited outside seating or take away. Has very much improved since first opening. Parking close by, no drive through. Lothian buses 38 & 42 go through retail park except at weekends, when you should get off one stop before or a stop after Craigleith retail park. Number 41 from Edinburgh city centre stops outside. Taxi rank inside retail park. Place available to chain bikes near by.

Coffee was good but tables disgusting. Not a single table cleared in last 30 minutes. Customers moving dirty mugs and plates back and forward to make their space clear.

Starbucks Vs Costa. At Costa they put you whole order on a tray which you pick up. One journey. At Starbucks they call you for your coffee and each individual hot item. Multiple journeys. Also at Costa the latte is an actual milky coffee rather than hot froth. Take your pick. Coffee tasted old.

Lovely little Starbucks! Easily Accessible and near to shops and Sainsbury's Supermarket. Ample free parking time limited to 90 mins in Retail Park Car Park. Very clean, spacious and modern. Accessible entrance and accessible bar height for wheelchair users. Multiple power points for Laptop use and charging use. Free Wifi. Accepts Starbucks Rewards Card also.
