Ordered a Fish Tea, the fish was cooked perfect it just flaked off and the chips were good nice and crisp fluffy inside. Great portion and good value for money. The Staff were very attentive to your needs. A Great local Caffe with modern decor👌

I think it's the best chip shop in the Muirhead area, and so does my son. The last order I got delivered arrived within 30 minutes of calling, we got fritters, sausage and a fried pizza they always put it in a box for me which I love as I hate it when the cheese is all stuck on one side.

I love this place!!! Found it when I was on holiday. Nice fish and chips!! Sausage, roll and tottie scone was delish!! They also have a nice we ice cream section. Give it a go if you are nearby

Went for a lunch with my mum, I had the fish tea, my mum had the scotch pie supper, she hadn't had one in years, both meals were tasty and plentiful. The booths are a little "cozy" but we both agreed we would like to go back!

I've been to this cafe before , it's not local to me but if I'm passing I always try to pop in . The latest time was Sunday mid morning and decided it was a bit early for the fish and chips , so I decided to go for the full breakfast. Great decision as I was served quality food at a reasonable price . The square sausage was a decent offering and along with the potato scones and all other items on the overflowing plate ,I was very satisfied . I've read a couple of bad reviews about here and I'm puzzled somewhat about the labelling of bad and uninterested staff , the two members who I dealt with this morning could not have been nicer . On this occasion I can't mention any of the chippy offerings , but I can recommend the breakfast and sandwiches . See you all again when I'm next passing

Fantastic food and service! I used to love the old Soaves ice cream and can safely say the quality has kept the same. The half chicken and chips meal was gorgeous with such fresh and succulent chicken meat (I was surprised how on a par the meat was with local butcher's chicken!). Would definitely recommend!

Great cafe. Have been a few times and the staff are always lovely and friendly. The service and food are great. Tasty sandwiches and hot food and the fish and chips are great. Finishing our meal with some lovely soave's ice cream is a fab treat.

A great local cafe offering great coffee and cannoli! Also has a wee Italian deli and stocks Soaves famous ice cream aswell as serving up fish and chips! Not forgetting the pleasant helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

My first experience of eating in this cafe since it changed hands. I only visited it once for ice cream which it is famous for and has built it's reputation. I ordered the mix food combo. This was served on a metal basket with chips. It consisted of fish, prawns, scamp and calamari. It was a lot of food for the price £7 or €8 (I think). It was nice how ever the prawns and scamp tasted funny. I realised they work cooked in beef fat. This was over shadowed the sweet taste of the prawns. The service was really good. The waitresses were young and it was probably their first job so even though some errors were made in the grand scale of things they were negligible. Overall I was impressed that this cafe was thinking outside the box with such food items as it's mixed seafood platter. I believe it will do well for itself. Ditch the beef fat and hire an experience waiter/ waitress to help train it's staff and have a manager in place and all will be ok. Keep thinking outside the box.

Just out of cafe C in Muirhead and I can't recommend it enough! We went for ice cream as a special treat for my children. My daughter has multiple life threatening allergies one of which is dairy so finding somewhere to cater for her is difficult. The girl behind the counter couldn't of been nicer, washed out the scoop before touching the sorbet for my daughter, and nothing was a problem. We all sat in with out ice cream, even when it came to leaving and my toddler having a melt down for more ice cream, all the staff blew me away, talking my son behind the counter and letting him chose some more ice cream to take home. Service was 1st class, and I will be spreading the word around allergy sites about how good it was. Thank you.

Best local chippy on Cumbernauld road we've tried them all and this place is a step ahead. Has great eating-in facilities and also has fresh pizza making facilities, an ice cream counter and loads of extra bits on the side. Staff are always friendly and chirpy.
