Amazing food, helpful service, beautiful view by the sea. We came here for dinner and for breakfast and both tasted great. We had tomato soup, Greek salad, fish and chips and mac&cheese. It was great! Perfect dessert too (cheesecake). Highly recommend.

Second trip after pancakes and bacon on Sunday. That came with the right amount of maple syrup. Today was the mega burger which was amazing. Two big patties and crispy onion rings. Chips were crispy and lovely. Great service on both visits. Highly recommended if in the area.

Nice restaurant near the see front. No child menu but do half size portions of the meals on the menu for them. Seating outside is on picnic benches with umbrella. The food was nice, service was a little slow. A few downsides. Firstly I was charged for an extra meal that I didn't order, so this left a bad feeling but was rectified. Secondly, due to sitting outdoors the wind from the sea got a bit to much so we asked to take desert away - they didn't provide the ice-cream with it which was disappointing. Finally, the fish and chips on the menu was 'fish and chips with tartar sauce' but no sauce came with the meal.

So good we ate here twice! We had lunch and breakfast as we were staying in a nearby caravan park in Fortrose. Excellent coffee and the fruit scones were delicious! Veggie breakfast rolls hit the spot this morning. Would recommend!

Popped here for breakfast, just ok, as we felt a little more effort could have been put into our breakfast rolls. Buns not toasted, just sliced and two sausages plopped on top. Service was extremely good but feel good presentation & quality of food let our experience down. Great location though on the seafront and dog friendly outside. Would return, but, we’d try the lunch.

Visiting Rosemarkie Beach after a very long time , the Crofters Cafe came upon us by surprise coming from our 2 mile walk on the sand. We didn't know it was there until it was in front of us and thought it was closed. A busy little place that does family lunches , after a short stand to get a table we ordered a cake and coffee which didn't take too long to arrive despite the hustle and bustle of visitors. The young staff were tentative asking if we were comfortable, it was only a short stay but was a great place for refreshments for the walkers to rest.

Really good food. Good indoor and outdoor seating advailbe here with good views. They have a good menu for meals but for a small lunch time Bute not as good as mostly bigger meals better for a dinner or mid day meal.the food is really good though great vegan burger and lots of other food options. Dessert really good with waffles and the fudge cake being my favourite. They also have tray bakes and cakes. Good selection of acholic drinks in here as well if looking for this.

I have dietary requirements which were catered for without question and the half portions were a perfect size. Not only is the food fresh, tasty and plentiful the service is second to none. All staff are friendly, efficient, well mannered and approachable. Facundo leads a fabulous team and he always has time to speak to customers. Our favourites are the poached eggs and avocado, bacon rolls, burgers and pancakes (we love everything we have tried) The desserts are amazing too. To top off the whole enjoyable experience, regardless of the weather - the location with fabulous views, we love to finish off with a lovely walk along the beach and if we are lucky we often see the dolphins. Lovely sit in and takeaway restaurant with a bunch of fresh ingredients and an unique twist on spices. The chief/owner is Latin American (i think) and there is just a hit of that on the menu. I loved the Cajun chicken burger and fish tasted very fresh. Beware: it closes at 8 (and sometimes a bit sooner) so if you’re from london and used to late dinners, you might need to adjust.

One of the best cafés I have ever been too. Coffee was fantastic, the food was superb. The staff are amazing very friendly without being over the top. Chips are to die for, the portions are perfect and its not bad value for money. The views across the Moray Firth are beautiful and the drink selection for a later visit looks very inviting. It's a few years since we've visited Rosemarkie and this is under new owners. We popped in for a coffee. Ended up having Calimari which was beautifully cooked. Staff were welcoming, service was excellent. We sat in the garden with our dog. Excellent.

We visited today, sat outside , all Covid measures were employed. contact details were requested, socially distanced, hand sanitizers etc. This was a lovely wee cafe bar right on the shore. It was modern and tidy looking. The food was great very fresh, we really enjoyed our lunch. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. I would highly recommend eating here, and we hope to do so again.

Coffee is reliably good too. The staff at Crofters should be rewarded for the fact that they really worked hard and went the extra mile to keep their restaurant open and the public fed and watered throughout the pandemic.

A very pleasant atmosphere at this beachside establishment. Very well organised, n run for the current situation we are all facing, and a safe experience was gratefully had. Lovely spot! Came here after a failed attempt at finding some dolphins after low tide. Really lucked out with sitting outside as the weather was beautiful. We ordered the calamari and the Cajun chicken burger (with bacon, onions and cheese added on). We also ordered two Irn Bru's too and it came to 30 quid. Really great food and totally worth it. It's so easy to mess up Cajun chicken but it was far from that. The calamari was exquisite too. Staff are really nice too. Service was quick and it's a great place to watch doggies too.
