This cafe is in a great spot for cyclists or walkers along the canal. Service was rather slow and the cakes were all different to the labels!! I ordered a latte which seemed more like a normal coffee and carrot cake which was very nice. Local people somehow persuaded the owner to cook them a breakfast despite it being past the time for this service! Locals seemed friendly

What an amazing spot! It's in a beautiful setting, with a lovely (and dog-friendly!) little cafe, with friendly service and great prices. We'll be back for sure!

Great little cafe serving soup toasties baked potatoes and fresh baked cake made on site. Food is delicious and very reasonable priced. Bike hub for all your bike needs they even sell reconditioned bikes at good prices. The gardens behind the stable building has lovely views. You can pick up a pre loved book or game for a small donation. All the staff are lovely and friendly. It's a great little stop off on your walk or cycle along the canal

Lovely to see the stables looking so good. Flowers and fruit and veg all grown on site. Gr at base to take a walk around the gardens and the marshes and canal and food was delicious. Had a toasty and home made cauliflower soup, it was lovely. Staff super friendly too. I'd recommend for sure.

This is a wee gem of a place. Stumbled accross it and a lovely surprise to which I will defenitely be back. We visited on a lovely sunny day but even if it wasn't sunny there is a cracking log fire to welcome you in. Very clean and bright building with toilet facilities. The staff and volunteers were friendly and welcoming. There was my dad, my son and me who visited and had 2bowls of home made chicken noodle soup, 2 plates of sandwiches 1 all day breakfast a tea, coffee and a can for £15 which I thought was very reasonably priced. Much of the food grown is supported from their own alotment grown veggies. The cakes looked good too and will defenitely have one next time. Some seating outside too and places to park your cycle. There are small gardens and wee areas yo sit and chill with a book. A lovely wee haven. I made a point of thanking staff for their hospitality on our first of many visits.

Interesting and historical place with a wide range of activities. Cafe is welcoming and has a basic range of cakes and snacks.
Bike project attached for repairs and sale of second-hand bikes. A really good use of the old buildings.

After that we walked to Bishopbriggs while the rain stay off .

(Translated) I am enchanted by this place😍 A beautiful large garden with a pond, with toasts on which vegetables and bushes with fruit are planted. In the kitchen of the cafe, ladies bake delicious cakes from fruit. I had the opportunity to taste rhubarb flaky cake .. It melted in your mouth by itself😍You can have lunch there, several options to choose from. Everything fresh prepared on the spot. The ladies who work there are very nice and helpful. It is important that while cycling along the canal, you can stop, rest, eat and enjoy the beautiful garden and the history of this place. I really recommend it, it's worth seeing it all, relaxing and eating or drinking coffee with cake !!! Regards 😍😘

Mialam okazje skosztować kruche ciasto z rabarbarem.. Same rozplywalo się w ustach😍Mozna tam zjesc lunch kilka opcji do wyboru. Pozdrawiam 😍😘
