Reviews of The Good Coffee Cartel
o. a.
Bike friendly epitome of relaxed coffee shop chill. Glass, bare brick and play box filled with good beans and sound humans. Sitting in the sun working away on a laptop I felt cool (despite knowing this is not the case) and at home. I could have spent all day drinking coffee, eating cake and listening to nice bops in the southside sunshine. Bikes beans and coffee daydreams, why did I leave again?
B. B.
Torn between a 4 and a 5 stars here. Outstanding coffee at very reasonable prices with friendly staff. Not the best for sitting in though as it was quite cold on my visit (don't think the radiator was turned on!) and quite barebones - definitely more a takeout kinda place or go in the summer when it's warmer.
T. J. T.
Latte and hot chocolate were decent for the price, but I'd expect more friendly staff. The ladies took my order was acting as if I owed them 1,000 pounds.
K. J.
One of my favourite coffee shops. Great value, the doughnuts are particularly good. Outdoor space is great when the suns out. Staff are always friendly.
Signs up saying no laptops due to covid restrictions so don't know if they're keen on having people working there if thats something you might be looking for.
Bathroom facilities are available but only one at a time system.

Dived in here for a quick coffee after my tattoo, Wow that's nice coffee.
Perfect temperature, very smooth. My new go to place when in Glasgow.
K. Z.
Prob my fave place to pick up coffee in town, dog friendly, beautiful aesethitc when you are allowed back in, tasty tasty coffee, espresso is great cappuccino how I had missed it during there short lock down closure., flat white potent and velvety, American give you that pick up you need, can purchase the beans to take home and they will grind then, always a range of artizinal sodas, cakes are amazing. Defo my favourite coffee shop just to hang, am the best named,

Tried on 2 occasions 2 years apart. Cappuchino was so light that I could barely feel any flavour. Tasted more milk than coffee and was not fragrant at all.
R. M.
My favourite coffee shop. Nice atmosphere, good coffee and good cakes.
Adaptable and comfortable is the name of the game and the cartel have done that well. The entire team are friendly and great company. I keep coming back and will continue to do so.

This tucked away place is worth the trip. The coffee is simply said awesome- the vibe is relaxed and has seating both for working at with your laptop or a relaxed catch-up with friends. You can even buy freshly ground coffee to take home. Their quirky toilet is worth a visit as well - like an art piece a plexiglass has been put between a staircase to... and the wash basin. This place is full of delightful details. Definitely going again!

Wanted to visit here for a while, it totally lived up to expectations. Coffee was amazing, baristas were lovely, and the cafe itself is a really interesting wee unit, stopped back walls, nice paintwork and good artwork.
I. J.
Had a very good espresso and my friend also had very nice long black. The brownies were als very good. One thing I would like is if they offered Pour over coffee like a V60 or a Chemex.
M. A.
Wonderful little place… very friendly and knowledgeable staff who have a lot of love for the coffee they roast and brew. The coffee is incredible with a good variety and regular rotation. Batch brew and espresso both excellent and everything reasonably priced. 5 stars!!

One of the best coffees in town. Lovely and knowledgeable staff and great selection of their own coffee. Would definitely recommend this place.
L. M.
The best coffee in Glasgow, fantastic staff, and the tahini brownies / doughtnuts are delicious! Would recommend the flat white with oatmilk, and a shot of espresso on the side just to really get the taste of the coffee!
D. C.
Had a delivery which went missing in the post. Contacted The Good Coffee Cartel and a replacement was sent out immediately. Cannot fault their customer service. And most importantly the coffee is great too!
C. C.
They really do good coffee. Their coffee never disappoint me. Also, the friendly staff and nice vibe make the cafe as my favourite cafe in Glasgow.
C. B.
Coffee was excellent, prices are really good, nice atmosphere. Would recommend!
S. L.
Coffees on point. Good vibes and love that roasting smell!
A. B.
Very nice little hidden gem of a coffee shop.
They roast their own coffee, and the prices are extremely reasonable.
The quiet surroundings make this a great place to sit and get work done/ read a book.
Bonus: they have oat milk in stock for those that can't have dairy/ soy.
Worth a visit, especially if you're looking for somewhere out of the hustle and bustle.
E. T.
Excellent coffee and a nice place to sit in! You can buy their coffee and other great coffee accessories in the shop as well.
L. K.
Fantastic coffee and baking goods. Inside is the right level of basic without being uncomfortable and not pretentious like some other places
C. M.
Great place! I've never actually been to the cafe yet, cannot wait to visit one day, but I've bought their beanz over the years and I'm a big fan of their Natural Bekele Belachew Ethiopian. They now deliver refill bags in compostable and recyclable packing which has made me so happy! Such a treat!
J. B.
Nice premisis, good price but coffee was a bit sour tasting, maybe over extracted or just the roast, not sure. Have only had this kind of flavour from coffee a handful of times across all of my coffee shop visits. Wasn't overly pleasant but drinkable, not to my taste unfortunately.
R. S.
Lovely coffee and cake. Should be a designated stop on the Subcrawl!
b. a.
Amazing coffee and always have oat/soy milk
J. P.
Great spot with some pretty amazing coffee, lovely cakes and a little bit of character. A bit of a hidden gem if you ask me.
A. “. H.
Best coffee spot in Glasgow. These guys are really passionate about their coffee. They offer really awesome reusable cup options along with great pastries too. Definitely check it out.
S. C.
My local and my favourite coffee shop in Glasgow. Sustainable ethos, fantastic coffee(!!!), helpful staff, chill vibes, fast wifi, fair prices.
A great place to do a bit of work
I love the deposit system for take-away coffee. A common thing in cities like Brussels, Good Coffee is leading the way in Glasgow on reducing waste with this and the refillable coffee containers.
The only thing that could be improved: I don't see any info on where the coffee beans are sourced from beyond the country - i.e. are they ethically produced?
All round, the highlight of the area.

Great wee spot. Very chilled and easy going. Had my dog and my toddler with me and we felt very welcomed. The outdoor seating area through the back was the ideal spot for the lovely weather. Oh, and the coffee is superb!
A. Z.
Great atmosphere and aesthetic, coffee was excellent and they sell some amazing handmade ceramic crockery
R. M.
Good coffee. Quiet spot with seating inside, a little outside. Good range of coffee goods/accessories too. Will be back.
F. T.
Great coffee, good prices, friendly people. The outdoor area is great on a sunny day!
a. i.
Walked passed this coffee hide-away a few times. Glad I popped in for a coffee and cake. Real nice feel about the place and most importantly, the coffee was really good and fairly priced as was the cake.
Will call in again as an excellent little coffee shop in Kinning Park.
B. A.
Fabulous coffee and environment. Thank you
f. m.
Fantastic quite place to enjoy a peaceful coffee ☕
M. K.
Great atmosphere, great coffee and great staff what more could you want! 😊

Been a few times and they serve an awesome coffee. It's a little bit out the way but definately worth a trip. Place is minimal and stripped back with brick and chipboard galore. You can see where they roast the coffee beans and the care and effort these guys put into it is so apparant. The coffee is genuinely superb and the two guys who run place are funny, friendly and really know their coffee. When you are there check out the toilet, there is literally a window looking into a staircase, i cant properly explain it but its worth seeing. Apart from coffee there is usually a minimal cake selection, l understand the coffee is the priority but a larger selection of cakes or other food on offer would be a good move. Keep up the good work guys, ill be back soon!
S. L.
Amazing little coffee shop in west glasgow. Lovely seating area in the sun out back. The beans are very freshly roasted and perfectly to give a smooth and delicate coffee flavour. Not to mention the cool little tins the coffee is sold in.
i. m.
Amazing decor and atmosphere. Guys who run it/own it are lovely. As is the young Irish barista Dervla. Lovely friendly staff. Very dog friendly which is such as blessing. Glasgow please take note:: Open your hearts to the dogs
S. D.
Best coffee hands down in Scotland. We have been buying coffee for the office from many different roasters throughout the years and this place is by far the best. Nice staff and always helpful
A. M.
Favourite coffee stop in Glasgow. Small and rustic but great coffee and cales
T. R.
Coffee is all £2 , does vegan milk, dog friendly, super cool vibe. Ethical, high quality coffee. Can't say a bad thing about it. Can buy their beans in awesome refillable metal containers. If I lived in Kinning park i'd go several times a week for sure.
G.

A small coffee shop that you could easily miss. That would be a shame however since it serves really great coffee and the staff were very friendly. If your in Glasgow and want to try good coffee, I highly recommend this place.
F. U.

f. a.
First time in this place. Ordered a latte. Great tasting. Also some nice pastries on offer. Staff are very welcoming.also a pleasant atmosphere.will be back 👍👍👍
R. P.
The best coffee I've had, it's amazing! They don't do a mocha though so if you're looking for that you won't find it here
A. O.
If you saw me creepily stare right into the shop with my face almost against the glass, I was actually.. staring creepily into the window, but not for the nice coffee-grinding, sticker-issuing shop person. It was meant for my friend who wasn't looking.
Anyway, if you could move the open/closed sign not to be behind the horse picture, that would be really helpful from afar.
E. W.
Really great coffee and friendly staff.
V. B.
Very cool place and lovely coffee and doughnuts 😋
N. B.

Lovely place for a coffee but unfortunately I’ve found some of the staff to be quite rude. I live nearby and enjoy popping over, but it lets the place down. Everyone I take there comments on it…!
That said, some of the staff are lovely and you get what you pay for. It’s lovely to sit outside and I’m glad it’s been a success. A real asset to Kinning Park.
