Great coffee shop. A must visit when on the island.
Service was amazing. Staff were friendly
They had oat milk which was good for vegan drinks. Cakes were tasty too. We had a chocolate brownie which was the best if you like it fudgy
We also had a chocolate and apricot cake and a smoked salmon sandwich.
Many options for hot and cold foods. Don't get there too late as they are always busy!

We visited one day as we had struggled for space at a eateries in Brodick. We ended up waiting a bit for a table and neither of the staff came out to see us or advise about spaces would be available soon or not, despite having called 10min earlier and was told they were not too busy!
We managed to get a seat finally and ordered the food. Turns out all food is served in take away containers, which seems a little odd and customers have to dispose of themselves in a bin in the cafe.
The food is really nice and would have been an even better experience had the service been a little more welcoming.

Excellent food. Well worth a visit and if your full after a meal they do really good home baking to carry out! . Not to be missed.

Cakes are absolutely amazing 👏, service was great, latte was excellent. I will come back for sure!!!! Tunisian polenta cake, the banana cake with caramel and the pear tart... i do not have words to describe it! You have to try them :)
N. S.
Great, friendly service! The soup is gluten free and delicious, I’ve been back since to get more!! Gluten free bread would add to the joy, but not entirely necessary. Dogs are welcome as well 😊 gluten free cakes are to die for, everything is home baked on the day. This is a gem of a place!

Popped in for an early lunch after seeing fantastic reviews. Lovely little tea shop, great amount of choice on the menu for the size of the place, and a bright and clean interior. My other half had a cooked breakfast and I had a sandwich (on homemade herby bread - yum!) followed by ice cream sundaes. We even got a couple of raspberry almond croissants to take away, they looked so good!
I'd definitely recommend a visit for a cake stop or a meal, but I imagine it would be heaving in summer - we were here in early April and the shop was full by 12. Fast and attentive service, though, at reasonable prices, so well worth chancing it if you're in the area.

Amazing wee place with variety of delicious homemade cakes, yum!

Good service, do breakfast rolls until afternoon which is great. Lovely cakes etc, always love going here.

Lovely dog friendly cafe located next to the Holy Isle ferry. Great coffee, tasty food made from scratch and friendly staff. Nice ambience all round.

If I could give six stars I would! We had a takeout because there aren't a lot of tables: cinnamon bun, apricot tart, and vegan butternut squash and lentil 'sausage' rolls! All were brilliant (obviously only just baked because they were still warm). I can't decide whether the standout was the cinnamon bun or the (very substantial) sausage roll: unfortunately we have to catch a ferry tomorrow morning so won't have time for a repeat!

A lovely cafe with a range of delicious sandwiches, soups and cakes. Friendly staff, nice location.

5 star cafe with excellent home-baked sweet and savoury items plus a range on filled baguettes. We had apricot and almond frangipan tarts, nice and sticky with a crisp biscuit crust pastry. 2 excellent flavoured latte in both decaffeinated and normal versions. Can definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Coffee, cakes, sandwiches, sausage rolls and other baked goods. All very tasty, fresh and high quality. Busy but good service. Eat in (not a lot of room). Eat out or take away. Loaded baguettes and sausage rolls to die for.

Excellent food and staff very nice; good choice and good value for money: no complaints at all. The only thing that bothered me was that my very welcome tea, lovely baguette and delicious cake were all served in disposable take-away packaging - even though I was sat in. Only wooden, one-use cutlery was available too. Looking around at other people it seems everything is served in this disposable packaging whether take away or not, which is unnecessarily wasteful. All the packaging was marked as being compostable or recyclable and from responsible sources (good), but the bin in the cafe was a black bag so I fear it all ends up in landfill. Not good! I’d make a plea that this practice is reconsidered and those eating in served their food and drinks in the conventional way with crockery and cutlery. Any steps towards sustainability are appreciated!

Delicious (savoury) takeaway food and coffee. The cakes looked excellent too, but i didn't try them.

Get there early and queue for opening, to save queuing as soon as they open. Food is absolutely worth the wait, must try the sausage rolls, and the home baking, and the ginger and fruit loaves with local stout. Absolutely worth the calories!

This tearoom is amazing. Our party of 6 adults plus 2 kids managed to squeeze in, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The choice for lunch was superb – I went for the “mac” boy slim and it was the most amazing mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted! I had an Ischler cookie afterwards, and it was exquisite. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal!

The most delicious tartlets. Fresh baked. So tasty! Worth driving to the next village for. Half now half later. Lovely cafe😁☕🍰
C. W.
Homemade sausage roll and coleslaw was delicious

We used this as a stop off when cycling on the island. The selection of food wasn't bad, as covid restrictions were in place there was no place to sit as a tea room, it was a nice day so we were fortunate to be able to sit on the harbour wall. Business in the shop was steady but the person at the till seemed extremely stressed, when I asked for something to be done to a cake I got the impression this was an issue and felt uncomfortable, then she got the receipt request all wrong and I was made to feel this was my issue. That said I would definitely say for the moment this is NOT a tearoom, more a food takeaway facility. There are plenty other places in the villages on Arran to enjoy a sit down coffee etc.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. No seating inside yet. Had soup, sandwich and coffee under awning at the side which kept us dry from showers.
Very nice lunch and freshly prepared.
Staff very friendly and attentive.

Beautiful little place! We were unlucky enough to visit when they were closed, but the owner made us some coffees anyway and insisted on giving them to us for free. Such a kind (and tasty) gesture. Thank you!!

Brilliant wee cafe; home made food is great, wean and dug friendly! Try the spiced sweet tatty sausage roll (if it's available) it's mega!
R. B.
Lovely cafe. We had excellent scones. The sausage rolls also looked superb so I must try those on my next visit. Note that it is very popular and has limited seating so you might struggle to find a table at busy times.
