Wonderful indie coffee shop/eatery in Gloucester. Delicious flat white and tea cake consumed today, but the menu has a great variety of shakes, brownies and brunch offerings. Lovely staff, clean and welcoming venue.

Very nice coconut milk mocha and an excellent cakey brownie thing (they called it something unique I can’t remember I’m afraid). Nice range of proper homemade looking cakes and the usual cafe fair. Ciabattas looked excellent too. Will come here again for breakfast/lunch and try the menu out more for sure. A little small but that can be a plus for some who want a quieter place to come to. Noticed it was dog and child friendly too.

Excellent coffee. Clean, cheerful, and light interior with comfy seats. Food menu looks great but a star lost for microwaving the sausage roll to heat it up.

Were in Gloucester to see the canal museum and wanted good coffees. Bake and Brew came up and we popped in initially for Cortados. Strong, hot and hit the spot. So we came back for lunch and tried the specialty sausage rolls with salad and I had a flat white as well. My Hunters sausage roll with coleslaw was delicious and the flat white was less strong than the cortado and could have been a little hotter but was still a very nice coffee. My partner’s specialty milk shake to accompany her feta sausage roll was also delicious.

A fantastic local coffee shop, which also caters kindly to being gluten free with plenty of cake alternatives/toast available. Lots of milk alternatives as well as selection of choices making it a great choice for everyone. Service is prompt and staff are very friendly.

An independent espresso based coffee shop serving some of the best coffee in the area. Excellent quality cakes and brownies, with a good lunchtime menu as well. Dog friendly, child friendly, staff friendly too. Easy recommendation

Delightful cafe selling great coffee and hot chocolate and very tasty baguettes and cakes. Busy but not packed so managed to get a seat. Staff very polite, pleasant and attentive and service very quick - impressive. Close to the Docks market stalls and other attractions but in a quiet street - a hidden Gem!!

Favourite Coffee and Cake place! I’ve visited many times now and the coffee has always been great and the cakes are even better! They have a great selection of sweet treats, baguettes, savoury rolls as well as hot and cold drinks. The staff are lovely, the shop is dog friendly and I love grabbing a coffee out on our walks.

Great café, great staff, great food. The cakes here are fantastic, the coffee is good too. Costa eat your heart out. My only (very) slight criticism would be that the scotch egg could do with more seasoning. I will make a bee-line for this place every time I'm in the area. Fantastic.

Wow, is all I can say! It was my first visit to bake and brew today and I’ve been blown away. This little cafe exceeded all my expectations. There is a wide range of hot and cold drinks to choose from, a selection of foods from muffins to toasties and also lots of sweet treats. The staff were attentive also. I would recommend anyone in the area who fancy’s a coffee and a bite to eat to come here! Absolutely amazing.
