Haven't eaten there recently, but when I've dropped by for a coffee it's always looked good. Coffee is great and the service always friendly. In a nice spot at the south end of the green.

A lovely friendly little cafe. Enjoyed a nice snack at lunchtime. The lady told us there would be a wait as they were busy but we didn't mind. However the food did come quicker than we thought. The lady at the till was very kind to the little 3 year old girl we had with us when we sent her up to.pay. She got down on her knees to help our little one.

The food was absolutely lovely, but because we were a party of over 15, the staff struggled to cope. I think for small parties, it’s a lovely place to stop and eat, but I wouldn’t recommend for large gatherings.

Stopped here for breakfast recently. The place actually doesn't open till 9.30 despite what it says on the website and here on Google. The ladies that run the place were fantastic and real characters. Only cooked food available for breakfast, we had the Frampton feast which was excellent aside from the eggs which were totally overcooked. Coffee was fair.

My family and I (including our Rottie x Lab puppy) stopped in here for some brunch. It was lovely that it was dog-friendly. The food was lovely besides one frozen chip - we all tried something different from cream tea, paninis and breakfast - all great! We enjoyed our time here and will be returning in the future!

Excellent fresh home made cakes, spoilt for choice. Good tea & coffee with friendly service. Hot options available, but we only wanted light stop. Good spot overlooking southern end of long green, parking outside, although we walked from canal via interesting church.

After reading some mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, I booked a table for seven for Sunday lunch and was given a choice of chicken or pork. On arrival I observed that the place feels much more like a cafe than a bistro, however the food arrived quickly on hot plates and there was plenty of it. It was all cooked very well, although the potatoes appeared to have been cooked some time before and possibly reheated.
Overall a pleasant experience, however the two girls that served us were lacking in experience and I had to ask for the plates to be cleared. They spent a lot of time in the kitchen area instead of checking to make sure we were all okay.
I am local to the area and was hoping to be able to recommend Ley Bistro to friends, but in my opinion it needs to improve somewhat before I would do so.
