What a fabulous little place! I was recommended to visit here and I'm so pleased we finally got around to booking their Afternoon Tea. As I am Coeliac I called to book in and gave them my dietary requirements. On arrival I had to explain that I had also just been diagnosed as lactose intolerant too so I am now having to choose Dairy Free options as well. The lovely lady who prepares everything did her absolute utmost to provide me with the best she could at short notice (unfortunately I could have an afternoon tea as everything sweet-wise contained with gluten or dairy). To cater for me she popped out to buy tuna so she could mix it with vegan mayonnaise! I have added a photo to show the lovely presentation. I felt so confident about the staff, they knew exactly what I couldn't have and understood my needs that I just relaxed instantly Thank you for making my mum's birthday so special today and for all the effort you put in so I could eat something, it was appreciated more than you'll know. We will definitely be back!

Was a nice little place, tried booking last min on a sunday at 1pm and they were booked up, but managed to get a table (for3) at 11:30 until 1 which wasnt an issue for us so we persude. Went and it was nice, not many vegan options (1 or 2 i think) Full English breakfast is the vegan option i remember and i had (see photo 1). They have oat milk too. Food does look nice. £30 these meals & 2x coffees.

Amazing little place. The food was delicious!!! The crossiant sandwich was one of the best things I've tasted along with the charcoal cheese!!! We had savoury and sweet afternoon tea and couldn't belive how much we got!! Will definitely be back 👍

1st time coming for me and my friends. Amazing food and amazing price to go with it! My friend had the vegan one and she had to question herself as the fake cheese tasted amazing! Lovely little place decorated so cute! Friendly staff, we all can't wait to come again!

Been today to celebrate my Mums birthday. We ordered the afternoon tea for two you got loads to choose from and as much tea as you could drink. Dont worry about not eating it all they have little boxes to bring items left to take home. Would definitely recommend anyone to try this little tea room, but do book as it gets filled up quickly. Might even bring Dad next month to try the savoury dishes. The staff were very welcome & helpful.

This cute little tea room is an absolute hidden gem! Great food and drinks at reasonable prices with the prettiest decor in Hull. Staff were very attentive and welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended! ☆☆☆☆☆

Found this pretty little tearoom on Google when looking for a coffee and cake stop. The cakes were lovely, all homemade and a great selection! Tea served in proper stoneware crockery too!

Very nice tea room in Newland avenue. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. My daughter took me here for a birthday treat of afternoon tea. Was very good too, could not eat all the generously sized portions, so they brought us a box to take the surplus home. Fab cakes and scones, plus the wrap with little mozzarella balls was very nice and different, as well as sandwiches too!. Lovely to go there after shopping etc. Definitely recommend...

It is the first time I have been in to Sweet Little Things. The decor was welcoming and every effort had been made to create a colour scheme from furniture to crockery. A good choice on the menu, the full breakfast, I have to say was the best I have every had. Good quality sausages and bacon, with hash browns, a choice of eggs, tomatoes mushrooms and toast and butter. Service was good, I would go back again. Well worth a visit

Lovely tea shop! Food is gorgeous - I've eaten the summer salad with gorgonzola, and bacon and cheese croissant (well recommend) but their speciality is afternoon teas which look fabulous. Waitresses so friendly and helpful. Love the decor and tea cups too

This is not a large establishment but very cosy. The menu is not vast but has everything you need and the food is filling. They do cater for gluten free and vegan choices and although I didn't have the afternoon tea it looked plentiful from what I could see. Would highly recommend booking though as it was very busy. Definately recommend a visit

I ordered a mixture of afternoon teas for 2 yesterday including standard, vegan & gluten free for my family, when they where delivered to me I could not believe the amount of food in each box & the presentation was fabulous, when my son's collected their meals there reaction was WOW, they all texted me later in the evening with pretty much the same comments I .e the food was gorgeous with more than they could .manage at one sitting so the rest will be eaten today .
