Reviews of Crust & Crumb
S. I.
I had a delicious full English breakfast this morning, and the service and food were both excellent. The food arrived promptly and was tasty and enjoyable. It was my first visit, and I’ll undoubtedly come back again!

This place has the greatest rocky road I have ever eaten in all my years. It is so excellent that after eating it, you might need to go have a nap. Truly the best cafe in Leeds!
H. S.
Excellent service and quality food, their Eggs Benedict with black pudding (I can't remember the name) , is phenomenal. I would highly recommend. Really can't go wrong if you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch.
T. C.
Great! Probably best veggie and traditional breakfast for miles. Absolutely love it especially the bread and cakes
Well laid out and a great find for this part of leeds
l. m.
Lovely croissant and sausage roll, creative ideas and very small price. Love it! Will go back

First time in Leeds for a while, I'm from Bolton and found this lovely little cafe restaurant. It was quite expensive £10 for a cup of tea and a full English. But I must say it was worth every penny, the service was amazing and very friendly, the food didn't take long and very tasty and enjoyable. Hope to pass this way again soon.
Warm regards Peter O'connor.

My wrap was delicious, friendly staff and made a fuss of my dog even though he was a little naughty! Lovely place to go for lunch after roundhay park 🙂

This place has a great selection of vegan and veggie food options. Everyone who works there is really friendly and there's a lot of community spirit floating around in the air.
They also have a small selection of Jams and Gins and sell environmentally friendly items like reusable mugs and water in glass bottles rather than plastic.

Lovely cafe - tasty food, the service is great, friendly staff. Will keep going back whenever I’m home, thank you!

Lovely cafe! We had a gluten free, veggie breakfast, it was delicious! Staff were very helpful and friendly. It is also dog friendly too.
We would definitely go again, shame we don’t live a bit closer.

Delicious food in a lovely setting!
Love the wide array of breakfast choices! The brunch stack is to die for. Everything is beautifully presented too. Hubby says the carrot cake is the best he's ever tasted.
Great service and great atmosphere too. Definitely one to return to.

Great little cafe, small and comfortable with friendly staff
C. S.
A nice, warm, local coffee shop that sells delicious food. The breakfasts are awesome (not many places around here to get a nice full English breakfast, for example) and the amount of vegetarian options is amazing. Great coffee, great staff. Lucky us.

Saturday breakfast for two. One Gluten Free breakfast which was delicious including homemade sweet potato cornbread. Excellent coffee. Not a big breakfast but every mouthful delicious. Pigged out on a rice krispie cake with second coffee. Parking for an hour out front. Will be back.

At Crust and Crumb I always have my "sunshine stack" which is a delicious vegetarian gluten free dish. They have a lot of gf options here actually. Their cakes, salads and soups are mouthwatering! Lovely, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff as well.
N. P.
INCREDIBLE! Generous portions on the brunch stack - plenty of smashed avocado for the hipsters and perfectly poached eggs ( definitely runny). Flavourful basil sauce and roasted tomatoes.
Excellent customer service 😊

Had a tasty pork pie with a random selection of chutneys available. The coffee was good, but maybe not as tasty as the cafe opposite, cafe opposite.
A. K.
The food is amazing at Crust and Crumb. Great value for money, fresh ingredients and local too. Staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. Great service by the waitress named Abby!
Z. T.
Sadly no gluten free breakfast options today
The reply states I should have asked. I did ask and was told no.
Please check your facts @crust and crumb

Friendly, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere. Great drinks, cakes, and brunches and good gluten free options. Happy to have found our new coffee spot!

This deli/coffee shop is the hub of chapel allerton. every time you go in, no matter when you were last there or even if its your first visit, you get treated like a long lost friend by staff and customers alike. some people would describe it as too small, but i think thats part its charm. its not small. its a good size without being cramped. another review says there is too many staff... i bet they would complain if there was less staff and they had to wait longer. never have i seen any member of staff stood loitering. they are always all busy doing something, whether it cleaning, serving, topping up displays. they chat to all their customers, but that is what sets this place apart from the rest. they connect with everyone who walks in the doors. i have never seen anyone complaining about anything. ive been in there frequently since the day it opened and never had a bad visit. the food is excellent quality and a large variety for all tastes and diet requirements. nobody is left out. they serve (in my opinion) the best coffee in the area and whilst it may be pricier than some of the other takeaway sandwich shops.. you really get what you pay for. excellent service, excellent quality and excellent portions. ignore any negative reviews you see about this place... those people obviously just want to pick holes in nothing. if it wasn't for the fact i live in london and only get to visit crust and crumb a couple times a year, i would easily be in here on a daily basis.

Popped in for breakfast and was seriously impressed. Lovely cosy little cafe. The food was delicious and portion sizes were perfect. Would definitely recommend!
S. D.
Great selection of sandwiches, salad bowls, pastries, cakes, coffee and gin! The coffee in particular is good as recently switched to a new supplier.
It is busy at lunchtime and sometimes it's impossible to get a table which is a shame. Favorites of mine include chicken and chorizo and chicken and pesto toastie.
B. H.
Solid coffee and tasty food for a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and welcoming while the place itself is charming. Would recommend!
A. B.
Not the best and not the worst. It tasted like they had put cheap tomato sauce in a Heinz bottle and the rolls for the sandwiches were quite dry. But the cake was really nice.
C. K.
Atmosphere is nice but food can be very hit and miss so be careful what you order. The staff are not very accommodating to special requests. Also the worst hot chocolate I've ever tasted in Leeds so don't order that.
G. D.
Great, friendly staff and a tasty although somewhat reduced menu.
B. J.
Staff were great and really tasty food. The sunshine stack was delicious. Definitely a great place to go for brunch!
D. S.
I have been here a few times and I recommend it to anyone. It is a lovely little cafe and the staff are very friendly and welcoming and food is very good and well presented. Definitely go again and keep going..
M. H.
I've been coming here since they opened, in a district with so many coffee shops, we're always in here. Their musili bread toast is a wonder, with BBC 6music on the radio 📻 perfect 👌.
J. S.
Crust and crumb do a good variety of sandwiches and salads. The cake is always good and they do decent cups of tea and coffee.
A. M.
A regular haunt of ours. Great salads and superb pies and cakes. Lovely atmosphere and we often buy some extras from the shelves. Recommended.

Might be the best sandwich I've had in years, maybe ever! All the staff were friendly and didn't take long even though it was busy. Will be back again!
J. K.
Friendly staff.. the Salad we had was yummy...
M. P.
A cosy cafe just a bit more pricey than a average greesy spoon, well worth it as the food was good quality and the staff friendly and willing to accommodate our
Quirks
J. L.
Delicious food, best brunch I've had in years! Lovely friendly service too.
M. R.
Food and service excellent, but a little pricey. They are also small dog friendly due to space limitations, larger dogs welcome at the outside tables.
R. B.
Phenomenal customer service!
