Loved it in Bristol, loved it in Leeds! Absolutely delicious pies and sides for a very fair price with fast service. Plenty of non-meat options available as well! The restaurant was very clean and cosy with enough space even for bigger groups if you want to come for lunch with your colleagues. Nothing to complain about, easy 5 stars.

Great pie restaurant in Leeds City centre. They specialise in a wide range of pies both meat and vegan, with sides. I highly recommend the Moo pie with minty mushy peas. The pie came with gravy as well. Service was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a pie, the ultimate comfort food.

Had the Moulin Rouge pie and it was incredible, the place is really good value for money and the halloumi fries were so good! We were a bit disappointed that the pigs in blankets weren't available and the table could have been cleaner, but overall good experience.

The service was very good. The server took time to point out dairy free options as my partner is lactose intolerant. Pigs in blankets with honey and mustard sauce to share for starters. They were delicious. My partner had Mock-a-doodle a tofu chicken pie and I had Kate and Sidney ( steak and kidney ) both pies were delicious and well filled. The pasty was just right and cooked perfectly. The meals both came with great mash and loads of gravey. All in all a great meal but we were both too full to try the desert menu.

I've never been a fan of pies but these were great! I will definitely visit again. The sharing sides were super small but the main meal and desserts were really nice. Aaamazing. Thick crust pies at an incredibly valuable price! Trendy and relaxed interior perfect for get togethers or even solo work meals like I had. Waitress helped me decide between the incredible and delicious options (lots of cheese options for cheese lovers!). Their dirty fries with halloumi looked so good but I went for Moo & Bloo pie on cheesy Mash with mac n cheese side and fried halloumi. Couldn't fit in dessert but there were pies with ice cream too. Great hearty feel good food!

WOW WOW WOW. What a great pice of pie this place is. Went with my colleagues for lunch and had the Mulan Rouge with mash. The pie was perfect, the mash was the best in universe and they gravy my lord of the pies. Simple, YOU HAVE TO TRY IT

Decent pies, average alternative options and sides. Good variety on the menu with vegetarian and vegan options with caution. Milkshakes a bit watered down and tasted of just syrup. Came in a large group and some of our food orders came incorrect, missing bits or wrong foods coming. For example The vegan orders came with real ham around it, which wasn't enquired about by the waiter whilst ordering as we assumed it would all be vegan / fake ham which was an option. Would definitely come back to try alternative pies though and service was fast considering they were busy.

Always wanted to come here as I walk past it daily. We booked a Sunday best deal and I was excited to try the Fungi pie. The service was super slow and we waited 45 mins before our meals arrived so we were extra hangry before eating. The gravy was cool as was the food apart from the pie. The pie was actually quite nice although the top crust was a tiny bit hard. My boyfriend said the toilet was dark and dingy and the table was slightly sticky. We probably wouldn't go back again unfortunately.

Reasonable prices and good selection of pies and sides on the menu. You can pick from a selection of meat or veggie pies and have the choice of upgrading sides to 'premium' options. The Pieminster PA (house IPA) is also worth trying if that's up your street.

I have been before, a few years ago, and wasn't overly impressed, but this time it was really great quality and I really enjoyed it. I may have to go gluten-free in the near future, and I was pleased to see they cater for this on their menu. Staff were pleasant. The only thing I wasn't so keen on were the puddings - sticky toffee and chocolate were nearly identical, and both very 'heavy'. They were okay, but nothing compared to the lovely pie I enjoyed beforehand 😊

Discovered Pieminister on a shopping trip to Leeds on Saturday and it certainly gets our vote! When we visited at lunchtime it was very busy and the service was a little slow at the start, just a drink order would have helped reassure us. But once our order had been taken and the drinks and food arrived we were delighted. Plenty of choices and we all loved the pies - Moo, Moo and Blue and the Free Ranger. The sides were a hit too, as well as the milkshakes. Proper hearty food and the gravy was fantastic. A great place to eat and one we'll be visiting again soon.

Delicious food and generous portions for a good price. Organised so that service, once you've ordered, is very fast. Everything is quite well salted, can't think of anything on the menu that would be considered low sodium! Excellent vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Seating and passageways can be a bit narrow and cramped, but you rarely have to queue for a table. The espresso is also excellent.

We tried going on a Sunday but it was booked to the brim. Ended up going later on a Friday night. I love the look of the place and in a great location. The deals are great and the pies were amazing. Lots of different fillings and yummy sides. Too bad there wasn't a kid menu but she got a simple pie and loved it. The drink menu was liked but what they had was great. The service was more than I expected. Very fast and responsive. I'm excited to be eating here again in the future.

Service is efficient and friendly and the pies are made of really good quality ingredients. We had beef and Stilton and they were delicious! I really enjoyed my chicken and mushrooms pie, wasn't very keen on the baked beans but that's mostly my personal taste. The only problems I had was that the sofas were way too high for the tables. I am a short person and I had to proper bend on the table, I could imagine a taller person would have to potentially fold in half to eat. Also out tables were quite sticky. The staff was very kind to clean it again for us but there was no difference.

The pies are amazing. We wanted a change from Sunday lunch so went for the Moo and Blue pie, full Mothership. It was excellent and we didn't need puddings. They do an option with Yorkshire puddings and roasties but felt that was a step too far. If you like a pie give it a try. Hard to beat. The restaurant itself is very urban industrial so don't expect frills. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Food was good, service was quick. Prices are as expected, an extra £1 for cheesy mash wasn't worth it. Drinks are expensive and boost the bill up, the milkshake was quite small (ordered salted caramel... Got vanilla) and nothing special compared to what other places serve for the same price. This place is fantastic! I've been a few times now and always had a really nice meal. I would describe it as a cross between fast food and a full restaurant experience. You can pick from various pie + side combos and it always arrives relatively quickly. Great value for the amount of food you get. There are also a solid number of vegetarian options.

Party of 3 people. Despite the restaurant being pretty much empty, 2 pies with sides took over 20 minutes to arrive. One of the party had a few starters instead of a main and regardless of the clear request for "Could we have everything at the same time please.", the starters arrived after about 5 mins so that we didn't end up eating together. Service was fairly slow and indifferent. The food was good, but I think I might stick to buying them at the supermarket and preparing them in my own kitchen.

This is he only place I’ll eat pies from as they are really good quality and there are loads of veggie options and loads of yummy sides to pick from - whatever you choose you can’t go wrong. The decor is really nice and has soft lighting and there is a happy hour available - perfect for a date night. The staff were really helpful and the service was really fast. I only wish there was one near my home in North London.

Went for a meal to this great restaurant with my sister. It was chosen as I have a gluten intolerance and they had a good selection of options. When booking I put a note in the comments about this and on arrival, the gf menu was already waiting for me on the table! Service was fast and efficient and the staff chatty and pleasant. The gf chicken pie with mash was delicious as was the non gf Heidi pie with cheesy mash that my sister had. Gf gravy was provided without having to ask. Just so nice to find a gf pie! Very difficult to find. The decor and atmosphere were perfect. An all round excellent evening.

We prebooked for a leaving do and due to numbers, popped into the restaurant to reserve the table the day before. Tables were laid out when we arrived and drinks and food orders were taken promptly. Wait time for food was 20-30 mins due to not pre-ordering and the food we'd intended to be starters arrived with the pies. We utilised the pie and two sides regular meal and with drinks, it worked our around £13-£15 per head, making it good value for money.

Why not have pie and chips to cure a hangover and guess what... just what the doctor ordered. The food was delicious. I ordered the Moo pie with mash and Skin on Rosemary Fries plus a pot of gravy. Everything was a treat, i couldn't fault anything that was delivered to me. Next time when i'm in that area i would definitely go in to the establishment and dine there.
