Lovely, Polite staff, great drinks and amazing food at reasonable prices. I'd recommend to anyone passing by or those that want a nice sit down experience. Edit: picture shown is the eggs royal. Best poached eggs I've ever had in my life and one of the best breakfasts in Leicester, hands down. An added bonus is it's still served until 3pm! Coffee is great and the staff, as said before, are always polite and make it a pleasure to visit. Will always be my first choice for a drink or a quick bite to eat.

It is Halal. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is brilliant. The presentation is really nice aswell. The food came out luke warm and the muffins on the eggs benedict and eggs royale were burnt which was disappointing but the coffee was good👏 asked for the coffee to be extra hot but it wasn't.

Thia cafe has to be one of my favourites in all of Leicester. Just the ambience and atmosphere of the place is enough for you to sit there for a while (quite a while). It’s a blend of chic and modern which most definitely captivates the eye. The coffee is great and so far, all the brunch options I’ve tried were tasty. One thing that stood out was the large pitcher of lemon water (which was refillable and free might I add!). Perfect place to come with a friend, for work or even solo. Would highly recommend!

Esquires is a great place to WFH or study. The staff, especially Chloe and Marc, make great coffee and are incredibly friendly. I visit esquires a few times a week and they are always quick to serve me. My favourites are the Iced coffees and their cinnamon whirls. Esquires is pet friendly and they are always excited to see my Thundercat.

I love this coffee shop. It somehow manages to combine snug and spacious perfectly. I’ve never had any issues with their drinks, and I always enjoy them. It is sometimes hard to find a seat, but maybe that’s because they do coffee and snacks so well that people want to be there? They have a lovely food menu, not too much choice, not too little, and it’s always delicious (I’ve even concluded my ‘go-to’ meal). The staff are friendly and know what they’re doing. Great atmosphere, to go with the great location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good hangout spot or even just a good coffee.

Really nice food and drinks. Staff always great. Only major issue are the doors are always shut. They are also heavy so terrible for wheelchair users. Shame given the seating outside is nice and flat.

Great atmosphere, coffee is amazing value. It's also much bigger inside than it initially seems, with seating upstairs and also around the corner. It can get a little noisy during its busiest periods, but I could easy cancel this out with headphones. Their hot Toastie and Cake selection is a tad pricey, but on par with Costa and they certainly match up to taste. Would highly recommend as a place to get some work done or to catch up with some friends over a superb coffee.

I love the coffee and food from here and the staff are very helpful. The only reason I've deducted a star from my rating is that they don't include a comments box on Deliveroo, so every time I place an order, I have to phone them. There have been numerous occasions where I've wanted to place a quick order while I'm working but I haven't bothered because I'd have to phone them.

Didn't visit the place yet, but ordered via Deliveroo. I got very excited they have egg benedict on the menu as not too many places in Leicester offer it. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Hollandaise sauce was perfect consistency, not too runny, not too thick. I hope its homemade)) poached eggs were perfectly presented with soft yolk. One of the best egg Benedict's I've ever tried. Now I am motivated to visit this place. Keep up good work and the quality. We need more places like this in Leicester.

Great location and the cafe looks cozy. Cafes in town can get too busy but this is a perfect place if you want to have a coffee and chill somewhere quiet. Only tried the chai latte and it was fairly decent. Will come back because of the quiet location.

On a very rare trip in to Leicester city centre on Sunday 6th September, my wife & me were on New Walk When we came across Esquires, on the the site of the old Leicester City Council building and decided to call in. Excellent! Lovely food, great service and importantly we also noticed very COVID secure! Well worth a visit can’t recommend it highly enough.

Having been to hundreds of coffee shops during my travels, I am very particular about little details. Initially it looks quite nice from the outside and on the inside it is pleasant. The coffee bar is awkwardly placed, some of the best coffee shops that I have have been to have nailed the positioning and it adds to a customers experience. I could go on to explain but I am not getting paid for consultancy. 😝 Having visited here three times this week, customer service let's it down. Staff seem uncomfortable, give off a sense of awkwardness and appear quite dreary. To be honest on my first visit the barista had a good vibe, smiley and pleasant and kudos to her for the effort she put in creating my drink. Generally on every visit the coffee bar always seemed overcrowded with staff and surprisingly for quieter times. I was unimpressed by the choice of cakes offered here, they were quite unappealing, boring and dull. They serve a slice of daim cake for near enough £3.00, it is nice enough but the whole same cake can be bought at the local supermarket for the same price. It's not about the cost but at least they could have considered offering something more adventurous than something you can just pick up at the local supermarket. So that being said it's just another coffee shop for the average joe enticed by an image and not the soul, it's a shame because they've got a few things right but what matters completely wrong. The coffee selection is pretty 'vanilla' too.

Visited on three occassions since it has recently opened. Both the coffee and loose leaf tea offerings are good. The staff are friendly. The interior is pleasant. Most importantly, there is a good range of big, comfortable arm chairs to relax in. Particularly like the upstairs area which overlooks on the rest of the cafe and outside on to the road; feels both cosy and airy simultaneously. What I'm most pleased about is that its stays open until 9pm. With the changing habits of people my age (20-30) a lot of just want a place to hang out and have a coffee in the evening and not go to a bar.

Great cafe, lovely atmosphere and interior decorations. The staff were also lovely. We order 2 avacado on bread with chilli. They were both very bland in flavour and had no taste. They were just chilli flakes instead of the sweet chilli sauce. I wont be heading back here for food however, I will be for drinks!

Went here with the girlfriend a few days ago, nice looking coffee shop. Looks very suitable for studying/working as there are laptop stations etc. We ordered our drinks as takeaway, me going for the luxury hot chocolate and my mrs getting a standard latte. She enjoyed her drink a lot, and mine was tasty but I do have one big gripe. The luxury hot chocolate adds an extra 60p on top of the hot chocolate which brings the drink to around £3.30-3.50. At least 1/3 of my entire takeaway cup was just whipped cream, which is ridiculous. I don't like my drinks really hot so I normally let the cream melt in first. Once this had happened there was just about 2/3 of my drink left - there was way too much whipped cream. On a takeaway drink you should probably have about an inch of cream maximum. The hot chocolate was very good tasting, I just wish there wasn't so much whipped cream. Also, 60p extra for a few marshmallows and whipped cream is ridiculous. At M&S, where I work, you pay an extra 15p for the same change... and this is M&S prices lol

Probably the best coffee place in Leicester , whether it is to socialise or to simply get on with your work, reminds me of such places that you'd see in Shoreditch! The staff are extremely friendly and they provide a wide variety of delicious food on the menu! 5*
