Just Wow. This 1940s tearoom is just amazing. The set up is so wonderful. You walk in and immediately you are transported back to the 1940s. It really does feel like you are in a 40s living room having tea and cake with friends.. The food is delicious and the price is amazing. The staff are really friendly and happy to tell you about the history of items on display.. I really loved every moment and will be going back again...

Beautiful Vintage tea room ! Staff are so welcoming! I hired the tea room for my daughter’s 1st birthday as I really struggled to find somewhere to just have Tea & Cake with my family but Ivy Joy’s was perfect and so accommodating!! The lady who owns the Tea Room and her daughter’s were so lovely and friendly! They put up the decorations and made every effort to make everything super stress free! Thank you so much!! Definitely taking a visit back with family to experience the Afternoon Cream tea! So happy we have found a lovely place right on our doorstep!

Lovely 1940s Vintage tea room ! So welcoming! Definitely taking a visit back with family to experience the Afternoon Cream tea ! The only reason we didn't have it today was because you have to order 24 hours in advance ! Still had cream tea , ( tea, scone, jam and clotted cream ) very nice ! The choice of speciality teas are very good ! I would advice anyone that wants that 1940s Vintage feel to definitely visit ! We will be returning very soon !

90'th birthday, brought back lots of memories - excellent themed venue. Friendly, attentive staff and authentic food and drink (cream tea) loose leaf tea was a little weak, but coffee was fine. Very enjoyable visit, would recommend.

Absolutely delightful, & very popular, vintage cafe serving hot drinks, 'light bites' & home made cakes & scones in friendly & truly authentic surroundings.
Listen to 'Our Gracie' on the radio, read the latest from the front in the 'morning papers' & browse the original ornaments & niknaks on display.
If travelling far, I would recommend reserving a table as it soon fills up.
On road parking can be a problem as it's a residential area, so you may have to walk a little way, but it's worth it!
Why not call in to Kibworth DIY over the road too, if visiting, thèy have a fantastic range of original DIY material including Primus & Tilley accessories!

Fantastic afternoon tea to celebrate my mother's birthday. Delicious food in the most amazing surroundings and served by lovely staff, it really couldn't have been better.

Visited today.05/10/2022 My mum introduced me to this absolutely gorgeous little tearoom. Be transported back to the fabulous 1940s. Old photographs, furniture, ornaments and other wonderful memorabilia to see. An old Air aid shelter sits in the garden with an area for you to sit and take afternoon tea. Lunches and wonderful cakes galore. Fabulous friendly service.Homely and cozy.
Take a step back in time and visit Natalie and her team. I shall definitely be visiting again 😍😍

I went to Ivy joys tea room for the first time with some work colleagues for a baby shower. It was amazing. The food spread that was put on was delicious and there was so much variety. All members of staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was lovely to walk round and see all the old photos/memorabilia on the walls/tables. I Will definitely be returning such a lovely place to go.

Ivy Joys is simply amazing.
My daughter had her 8th birthday ‘Tea Party’ here today, and it was incredible (and not to mention delicious)! I cannot thank the team enough. They went out of their way to make sure they all had the best time. It was perfect. Thank you!
🌟Highly recommend.🌟

The most loveliest hidden gem! Ran by an even lovelier family, I've had many lunches, cakes and drinks from here and each time they have been nothing but outstanding! The ingredients quality is superb and for the price you pay its worth every penny! Will definitely be a returning customer ❤️

We had our daughter and friends baby shower at ivy joys and we cant recommend them enough nothing was to much trouble ... we had the buffet which was fantastic something for everyone.

Came here with family to treat our nan to a cream tea. Absolutely lovely place. Food and tea was really nice and presented in a lovely way! Lots to choose from too and staff very helpful and welcoming! We could have a look around at all the amazing items that really make you feel you have stepped back in time. But what I love about it is that its clear that Nat the owner has pure passion and really wants to aim it at those with dementia etc. Such a lovely idea where they will feel comfortable and familiar with all the old items around them. She dresses the part too! Highly recommended cant wait to go again👌

What can I say, the tea room is a delightful place to sit, relax and enjoy the theme. The family that run the tea room are wonderful, kind and professional. The service, the food and of course the teas are fantastic. Please keep up the fantastic work, you are absolutely amazing 👏🏻 ❤️ …

So where do I begin! Walked in and was greeted by 2 lovely ladies who ran me through the different teas and other items they had. Very polite and professional and the decor in there was amazing! Prices are very cheap and service is fast. Would 100% recommend anyone wanting an authentic nostalgic tea room experience to visit this establishment!

I took my wife on her birthday for afternoon tea. Quite honestly it was lovely and a brilliant place. The afternoon tea was great, sandwiches, cakes and scones were 10/10. The tea was beautiful and the whole experience was really enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone who wants that little something special. Thanks Dan

Beautiful tea room and the cake was delicious. There are so many types of tea to try and the owners are really friendly and welcoming. I was able to smell all the teas before choosing the one I wanted and the customer service provided was superb 😁 thank you so much for a brilliant experience, I will be back. …

Had a lovely cream tea & kids box at Ivy Joys. Perfect amount of food- great value for money. I went with my husband and two children. Very accommodating for all of us. The theme is brilliant, something I have never seen before. Staff are great too and very friendly. The selection of teas are well described and the staff are there to help you choose (if you wish!) and what to do to achieve the best brew! Thank you!

Absolutely loved our sweet victory cream tea this afternoon. Natalie and Hathern were the perfect hosts that explained the tea brewing process and how to get the most of out of the loose tea that they sell. The variety of teas that are available is fantastic with a little explanation of what is in the actual tea.
The afternoon tea had the right amount of sandwiches and cakes on offer to nibble on.
The atmosphere was very nostalgic and felt like you had gone back in time and visited a grandparents house for a cup of tea. The authenticity of the tea shop was outstanding and the attention to detail was amazing. I will be definitely be visiting here again very soon!

What an absolute hidden treasure! A beautiful 1940'S inspired tea room, with such a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. The attention to detail in the tea room is amazing, and the afternoon tea is delicious. I've visited twice now and will be returning very soon :-)

Having just discovered Ivy Joy's, we were warmly welcomed to a charming tea room with wartime decor which felt you were in someone's front room rather than a business. A very good selection of teas, cakes and snacks and other drinks for us non tea drinkers. Everything was reasonable priced as well. Now on to the proprietors. Natalie and Hathern have made a great effort to recreate a vintage style and were really friendly and helpful. You could tell that that they were passionate about the history of the tea room and of Kibworth. I always think the best compliment to a business it to to go back again, which we did for their craft morning (Wednesday). Thank you very much from Debbie and Graham

Just had a Jubilee afternoon tea and it was amazing! Everything was homemade and tasted beautiful. Wonderful service from the staff and the atmosphere was homely.

What a lovely place. It was like stepping back in time. Reminded me of my Grandmas house. Great tea and excellent cake and cheese scone. The waitress was charming and helpful and had some lovely stories about the old photos on the wall. Will return.

I went with the family for an afternoon tea and it was absolutely brilliant! The atmosphere and enthusiasm of the staff was second to none which made the experience more enjoyable. If you're a fan of the 1940s then this is the place to go. We have already booked our second visit.

This is a lovely little tea room run but a very friendly mother and daughter partnership. The decor is fantastic with its 1940's theme and a wonderful selection of teas and drinks like ovaltine and camp coffee accompanied by themed food like spam, corned beef etc. Totally Clovid safe, comfortable and very welcoming. We will be returning again soon.

We had such a lovely afternoon enjoying the sweet victory afternoon tea. We were a big party, and had a couple of requests and they couldn't have done more to accommodate them. We asked for a nut free afternoon tea which came lovely presented, and also asked if they could do a childrens afternoon tea which they were more than happy to do for us. Everything was so beautiful and so tasty. Thank you very much! We will definitely be back.
(They also didn't mind about the childrens mess, or talking!)

Visited this afternoon with my wife and mother in-law and being a self confessed coffee addict who's only experience of tea is Assam and generic brands, I entered with trepidation. Well, my attitude was suitably adjusted when I tasted my rhubarb and custard tea... Wow is all I can say!! This was not like the "flavoured teas" you get from the supermarket, it was full of flavour...
Oh and the 40's theme is brilliant too and spent a while looking around at the family photo's and memorabilia around the tea room. Natalie and her daughter Hathern have done a brilliant job of showing their love of tea and vintage Britain to everyone 🥰
J. W.
Had another lovely afternoon with family at Ivy Joys, well worth a visit especially for the cream tea 😋 it's like walking into my nan's lounge and what made it extra special was that we had recently donated my nan's China tea cups and plates and Natalie had remembered and set them out for our afternoon tea, what a lovely touch. Thank you Nat ❤

An amazing place with a real vintage vibe. The place looks as though you've time-warmped back to the 1940s. The cakes, scones and tea look amazing & I can't wait to book! Ran by lovely, genuine & passionate people too in their new business venture. Well done ladies 👏 …
T. J.
Lovely place, gluten intolerance is the same price!! Really cosy and relaxed, I love the theme and atmosphere closest you'll get to 1940 without a time machine. We'll worth the trip.

Lovely afternoon tea for our cousins suprise birthday treat. So much effort has gone into the entire experience, much more than just a traditional afternoon tea, highly recommend.

It is like walking into a 1940's living room when you enter Ivy Joy's.
The pictures on the wall of loved one's and the radio playing 1940 s music and broadcasts make this lovely tea room very homely.
The staff are welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious.
I will definitely be returning in the future.
