Typical hospital canteen, not something you would want to have every day and definitely nowhere near as good as even average chip shop. Plenty off seating, staff actually not bad, so service saved it from being two stars. Short opening hours.

A busy hospital restaurant situated within Leicester Royal Infirmary. Recently refurbished. Serves a good range of hot and cold food at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful but service can be slow at peak times and there is often nowhere to sit.

Good sized restaurant with plenty of seating. Cleanliness is acceptable, as is variety and quality of food. The main issue with this restaurant is the slow and surly till service. At times, it seems as though they don't care if your meal gets cold as the till staff are too distracted with other tasks.

Two main food establishments. A hot food canteen serves the usual hospital restaurant fare. The Starbucks-clone coffeeshop nextdoor serves hot drinks as well as high end (and definitely high price) sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks. Shortened opening times unfortunately. Plenty of seating in several areas including a children's area. Light and airy thanks to a kind of conservatory in the seating area. Busy, and not always the cleanest -- recently there was a nasty smelling liquid leak from the ceiling which was cordoned off in the middle of the restaurant. All in all, average at best for a hospital restaurant.

As per any hospital canteen. Not bad food, relatively high prices. Can almost always get a seat as staff are always going round to clean tables.

Slightly better than your run-of-the-mill hospital canteens, but almost NO healthy options on the menu. Very few salads, lots of pizza, chips and pies.
