What a not so hidden gem!! I must have driven past a million times but read a recent review and decided to visit. We had a truly great meal at the Friday pizza night. Wonderful ingredients and passion for authentic Sicilian recipes. Best pizza for miles plus the Sicilian beer and wine on offer went down a treat. Lovely to meet the Chef owner and hear his passion. Will definitely be back.

Just had a lovely evening at this gem. I never knew such an amazing, authentic place was so close to me. The pizzas were so so good and were enjoyed by everyone. Great menu selection with top quality ingredients. Had a pistachio and lemon tart for dessert and it went down a treat with the help of a very tasty Sicilian beer 😋 the chef came over to greet us which was a lovely touch and the ladies who were serving were very welcoming and great at their job. Absolutely great evening and atmosphere.food and service is always top quality every time we’ve been. Fresh handmade puddings and pastries are so popular it’s best to choose on arrival as they go fast, fresh authentic Italian food with lots of choice of drinks and so accommodating for a special traditional tipple. Cant wait for the next visit .

Sunday lunch special. What an absolutely amazing meal. Fantastic food served by very caring and attentive staff . I cannot praise Six Hills highly enough for the wonderful fresh food which was a delight. Tasty, fresh and delicious. What a lovely place and what wonderful staff, love it!! My partner and I went there recently when eating only outdoors was allowed. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially this woman who was serving (was not able to catch her name). They offered us hot water bottles and blanket as it was quite cold, small touches like this mean a lot and shows good customer service. The food was absolutely delicious we ordered courgette flower croquettes as starters which were absolutely scrumptious and hot when they came out to us. We also ordered two pizzas which were also very delightful to eat. Location of the café is nice and quite with lovely open space, quite romantic and a perfect place to watch the sun set. I also really like how engaging and active they are on Instagram showing they value their customers comments and needs. I hope this review has been helpful and I hope your café continues to provide such wonderful food and customer service! I hope to visit again very soon.

Food was great , the guy serving was a little grumpy to begin with as if our group was an inconvenience but then he came and chatted with us after we had eaten , nice guy. Bit of a greasy spoon/truck stop vibe, couldn't understand a word of the radio station playing , think it was Italian.

My friend made us ride an hour to get there and I thought oh a roadside cafe. It was pizza night and I have never had a pizza that came close to what this guy makes. Then we had cake and oh my god the cakes he makes are amazing. I love this place such a shame he doesn't have another near London. Amazing food

Fabulous! We enjoyed a mix of full english breakfast, a bacon sandwich, a tuna panini and a ham, tomato and mozzarella panini. The breakfast was washed down with a fine bottle of 'La Lupa' a beautifully coloured IPA whilst the rest of the group had a cold Sicilian fruit drink. And if that wasn't enough, we left with a selection of fresh authentic Sicilian / Italian cream and pistachio filled delicacies! We are now booked in for a Pizza night and we're really looking forward to it!

A roadside cafe of the sort that is pretty rare these days. If you're travelling through the area, definitely eat here. Menu covers breakfasts, burgers, panninis etc. as well as a selection of Italian dishes. Really good food. I would go out of my way to have the lamb burger again. Prices are very reasonable, but bring cash, as cards are not accepted.

I have often driven past this cafe on trips from the Reading area to Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, choosing to stop for breakfast closer to my destination, or sometimes earlier in the trip (e.g. A5, north of Towcester), but today I decided I would try this place. I had the Breakfast 3 for £6. A very good breakfast and good value. There seemed to be other good food on offer if I happen to be passing by at lunchtime/early afternoon. I fully intend to return to this place, to make up for the years I drove straight past!

Hadn't been in six hills for a long time mainly, because of the hours I work. I didn't realise it'd changed propriotors it was that long ago. I was greeted with a smile and my order taken, didn't have to wait long and it was well worth the wait, cooked to perfection and as I ordered (no butter on my toast). I will certainly call again, my only little gripe is the size of the car park, for big wagons like mine, you only need a couple of inconsiderate parkers and you can't get parked, not the cafes fault though. 10 out of 10 from me for the cafe.

Food, I would give 5 stars..have eaten breakfast here many times , always good but unfortunately the boss seems to have an attitude..noticed that staff serm to come and go...however today I parked my car perfectly legally on the front of the cafe..then I was asked by..not the boss..he was hiding in the back but a lady member of staff if I would move my car round the back on the rough pot holed car park as that was what the boss preferred.I obliged but pointed out that maybe they should sort the car park out..Im pretty sure that if my humble ford had been a Porche or similar then this conversation wouldnt have existed..its a cafe not the Ritz and sadly I won't be returning.

What a gem this place is... Recently we have been 3 weeks on the bounce and never fails to impress... The food here is authentic, fresh and full of flavour no matter what dish you choose. Not to mention the wide array of desserts, they certainly taste as good as they look, made fresh with continental ingredients. A relaxed vibe and setting, the service here is excellent and attentive - I don't have a bad thing to say about this place just wished it was nearer to us! Highly recommended, a definite favourite and will be sure return.
