A lovely local cafe with a warming atmosphere. It had been a while since I had visited this cafe (it may have even been different management?), but it felt much nicer inside with comfortable seating and nicely decorated. Although I had to get the attention of staff upon entering, I believe the drinks fridge is due for replacement (overheard) and so is slightly noisy, hence I don't believe me coming through the door was heard, maybe a little bell for the door would be nice? But I had to give five stars because the staff were lovely and friendly, the service was fast, and the tea and cake were perfect 👌 in fact, I need to emphasise that the lemon and poppy seed cake I had was absolutely delicious! Best cake I've had in a while. I felt calm and relaxed and would certainly return (hopefully the slightly noisy fridge is fixed by then). Thank you.

Stopped off for a breakfast. We both had the light breakfast which was very filling. Did not wait long, good service and tasty food made from good ingredients. Thanks will definitely visit again.

Eaten the breakfasts here a few times now and would definitely recommend a visit. The breakfasts are clean (not greasy) and the black pudding is the best I have ever had. Staff are always cheerful and happy to help.

Never disappointed when visiting Boodles. Lovely, friendly owner with time for a quick chat. Enjoyed the cheese n ham brown bread toastie; fruit scone was delish.... and Huge. Enjoyed with 1 latte and 1 hot choc drink complete with cream and mini marshmallows. So yummy and a real treat. Toilet has been brought inside the building and mum said it's "neat, clean n tidy". A sunshine tearoom, fresh n airy.

We had the Housefarm platter and it was absolutely delicious! It was more than enough for two adults and we had to give up on eat-in scones and opted out for takeaway dessert instead! Looking forward to trying their evening meals! :) It may become a replacement for Centurion all going well!

Great atmosphere. The food choice was excellent. Staff so helpful, attentive and friendly. Worth a visit for all occasions and lovely outside seating area. Prices are spot on for quality of ingredients and menu choices. Well worth a return visit. A credit to the area.

Have been here a handful of times for breakfast now. Has been great every time. Friendly staff, great service. On the last visit, it felt that staff were maybe a little overwhelmed with how busy it was, but they worked hard and everyone seemed to leave full and happy.

We had a lovely meal this evening at Boodles. 4 of us shared a fish platter and a farmhouse platter. Lovely food and nicely presented. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. And great value for money. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending it to friends.

Really great, tasty, quality homemade food. Really pleased we popped in for lunch. We had the large breakfast which was amazing. The lasagna made with butchers mince which makes all the difference and a makes a perfect lasagna which was so tasty, and an omelette made with proper chunky ham. Overall 5 stars. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Chairs are really comfy which makes it extra homely. Will defo be a regular here and highly recommend.

A very nice atmosphere inside the cafe and the staff and nice and friendly, the food was good however there were one or two issues. My partner requested fried bread and received buttered white toast and he can’t have butter, but they did take that away. I requested an extra hash brown and got an extra black pudding instead. The hash browns were a tad greasy and the sausages had a funny taste to them so I didn’t eat them. I will call again, but just have a sandwich or something.

Popped in for a fryup, it's quite expensive but the food is a really good quality and well presented. Service was great and you could tell it was clean. A nice selection of foods.
