T.Good coffee, great food and fast attentive service. Have eaten at Brew a few times and keep returning for the good food and service. Coffee is good, everyone has their own taste on that. But the food is always plentiful and to a good standard with fresh ingredients with lots of flavour. Prices are good for the quantity and quality, would happily recommend and return.

M. R.The food is consistently excellent, whether it's busy or quiet. The staff are always lovely and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The layout and seating provides a nice balance with stools, tables and booths. Also, the coffee is surprisingly good and has become my favourite in the area.

A different choice of food this week but just as nice and as well presented as the first time round. The same cappuccino though as it's genuinely the nicest I've had! Oh ye the staff are lovely as well. Is it next Sunday yet?

Asked for a jug of water and had to go back up to the bar to get glasses as the waitress didn't come back with any.

K. L.If you are looking for a nice breakfast in Crosby, I would definitely recommend Brew Coffee and Kitchen. I am yet to experience eating breakfast or sitting inside the place itself, due to current pandemic regulations, but have really enjoyed their takeaway breakfasts. The large breakfast is indeed huge and always fills me up, all for a decent price too. Delivery times can be slow at busy periods (available on Just Eat), and twice coffee has arrived with milk in when it I asked for black coffee, but considering the undoubtable pressures the staff must feel during busy periods and under the current circumstances, these are very very minor points. Can't wait to enjoy breakfast here for real once pandemic restrictions are eased.

I asked if we could have some cream with our pancakes instead of butterscotch sauce but when they came, they had the butterscotch sauce..asked the girl why and she said they didn't have cream??? While they were putting cream in people's coffee 🙁 it was all a bit like no one really knew what they were doing

Roast is my new favourite place. They were so accommodating of my food in tolerances and amended a dish to make it me-friendly. Also, the food is just delicious, made-to-order, fresh and tasty. I love the decor and there's always great music playing in the background. They have bits and pieces in for children, too - books, drawing stuff and games. The only slight let down is the toilet - it needs a new loo seat and the room could do with a bit of renovation. Other than that, I really can't fault the place.

D. M.Went on a Saturday morning. Rather than a coffee shop this is more like a restaurant, with a table service. The breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee, but the service was a bit slow.
N. B.I often meet my sister here on her lunch break. I have to arrive 15 mins before her to order our food as it can take a while to arrive. However, it always comes out freshly cooked and well presented. There is plenty of choice on the menu, some of which seems a little overpriced. The service is great and nothing is too much trouble. On the odd occasion there has been an issue with the order, it has been sorted straight away. The shop is decorated well and has plenty of seating, there is free wi-fi and a book-swap facility. Definitely somewhere I would recommend!
A. B.Good food and great coffee. Can take a long time for food to arrive but is good value and always tastes great. Kids menu is varied and they are accomodating. Loads of board games and free wifi. There is a large accessible toilet with a baby change.
M. H.Food is great. Staff are very friendly. Only thing that lets it down is the seating and tables. My seat had a big while in it which had been taped up.
But I wouldn't let that put you off.

C. C.I have visited Roast Coffee and Kitchen in Waterloo/Crosby numerous times now and have always had a great experience there. The coffee is lovely and is the Crosby Coffee brand. All the food is sourced from within a 35 miles (I think it's 35, maybe slightly more or slightly less than that) of Roast and it tasted fantastic! I've had a few different breakfast, always cooked perfectly and the cakes are from a local cake shop and are delightful.
