Amazing quality coffee with nice baked goods. I grabbed one of the best chocolate muffins I've ever had
A. A.
Friendly staff, quirky little coffee shop, I liked it.
E. S.
Lovely local coffee / tea shop, nice selection of pastries and cakes. Has pasteis de Nata and at least one vegan option every day

Beautiful home made pastries from the makers of Harry and Megan's wedding cake.
Lovely seating area under the trees outside on a quiet road.

Have only recently found this place on my lockdown walks and it been a nice treat. I really like their turmeric latte and the little cinnamon treats. The service has been friendly and keep meaning to come back to try the sandwiches

Yammy and great. Small place with big heart and romantic soul inside.

I used to go to the deli around the corner all the time purely because it’s more ‘visible’ from the road but I’m so happy I discovered this place recently. The cakes are the best things you’ve ever tasted - especially the brownie!

Food and coffee are amazing! Really nice and cozy little cafe❤️

I'm so glad I looked at reviews as I have walked past several times over the last couple of years and with it not looking like much from the outside, never went in. This time thanks to google, it came up when I was in the area and I saw the reviews so we popped in. What a lovely little place!! Really tasty coffee, tasty vegan brownie, cute decor and lovely staff/owner. Will defo return when in the area.

Really lovely and cosy cafe with a vintage vibe and friendly atmosphere

Great local coffee shop in De Beauvoir town.

Cute coffee shop with good coffee and pastries. However, if you're looking for a warm place to sit down and warm up when it's cold outside, this is not the place. There is basically no heating other than a small electric heater in a corner and they leave the door open for long periods of time to just change the air. So at times it can be as cold as outside.

The coffee quality is excellent; it appears that the owners really know their way around an espresso machine. I had the mozzarella sandwich which was fresh, included generous amount of vegetables and pesto. I would definitely come back.
C. S.
Interesting little cafe with a good selection of snacks and good tea and coffee
D. S.
Lovely neighbourhood coffee shop with excellent sandwiches and baked goods. If you're not fond of showing off in uber trendy espresso bars but you do enjoy a good cuppa, this is the place for you. There is absolutely no showing off, just a good place to sit at tables or on a comfy chair or sofa or even outside in the road on sunny days ( their outside space faces south so it catches even winter sun, whereas the nearby DeBeauvoir Deli has seats that are often in the shade and with more noise from Southgate Rd).

Great coffee, great cakes and savouries and above all Esra and Selma are really lovely people who know how to create a friendly and welcoming coffee house. Not to be missed if you live in in the De Beauvoir/Southgate Road area. Sheila

The specials coffee are amazing! And the atmosphere is so comfortable.

Needs a lick of paint. Clear cookie and muffin stand had small flies on the inside flying about so was not too keen. Coffee was average but priced more expensive than Starbucks and Pret. Shame, small coffee shops should thrive against the big chains but unfortunately they didn't bring their A game. Hopefully they'll survive by bringing better quality coffee and hygiene to their cookie case?

Good coffee, lovely food and a very nice woman running it. Looking forward to it opening up when lockdown ends

Lovely hidden gem with nice seating and great coffee. Plus good vegan options too!

Great little coffee/deli place, serving very tasty sandwiches

Randomly came across this lovely little cafe, while taking part in the SkyRide cycling event, exploring Hackney. We decided to take a short break and this place happened to be on route. The staff happily welcomed us (about 25 cyclists) without any fuss. They let us use their toilet facilities and served coffees & teas in a very organised and efficient way. I was very impressed to find out that they serve my favorite "Teapigs" brand of tea.. however the lid on my take away cup did not want to stay on the cup (even after trying a few other lids). The selection of cakes and food looked delicious, but we just did not have enough time to sample them this time. The atmosphere here was very positive. And they had little blooming cactuses on each table, which I found very original (I love cactuses, BTW) ;)
If I'm ever in this area again, I will definitely come back here.

Very nice. Lots of good quality tea. Nice looking cakes and quiet chilled out music! It has been done up since the current street view image!

Wonderful café. Selma the owner is really friendly and welcoming. She was kind to my children and made us delicious food. I'll definitely go back. Thank you

Cute and very tiny cafe on the corner of Southgate road.
The flat white was very nice, the pastries also looked delicious.
Very limited space and seating so advise avoiding at peak times.

No queues, no stamps or loyalty cards; just a cozy coffee shop with good coffee and tasty food. Peanut butter cake (gluten-free) was finger lickin good.

Great coffee, food and staff. Shame it's such a small place, not always room to sit, but great character.

(Translated) Quiet environment, warm atmosphere. It is reminiscent of something other than a modern cafe. Alternative choice.
(Original)
Ήσυχο περιβάλλον, ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα. Θυμίζει κάτι άλλο και όχι μια μοντέρνα καφετέρια. Εναλλακτική επιλογή.
