Tried their Pistachio Eclair, and Paris Brest both a delight and aesthetically pleasing. The sore part is the mocha that I’ve ordered arrived in a paper cup, nothing with wrong it only if I’m having it for take a way or the lady informed me before hand ‘that they run out of fine china (they words not mine).
Cost: a bit expensive
Food: taste good, and aesthetically pleasing.
Interior: nice bright ambiance.
Coffee: okay

Another hidden gem in Soho London
and not too far from piccadilly and regent street
This is tucked away and definitely one for the coffee addicts and coffee lovers.
Very easy on the eyes and has a semi private space at the back which can be reserved.
The owner was super friendly and welcoming.
I stopped by for a mocha which was delicious.
The pastries looked very tempting, i’ll have to visit again for those next time.

I went for an afternoon tea here. The presentation is beautiful as you can see in the photos. And each cake was delicious and unique. The scones however was really disappointing as it was like a biscuit and dry to me. The people were super nice. I'm not sure if the seats in the back was available but I would feel more relaxed if we were not seated by the counter and the door. I think next time I'll go back for the cakes.

I went to Bafarat with my husband for a Chocolate Tree Afternoon Tea experience. The presentation was extraordinary. Here’s what I thought about the rest:
Drinks- The flat white was so good. Very rich, dark and flavourful, with hints of chocolate. The beetroot latte looked good but tasted meh.
Sandwiches- All good but very small (literally two to three bites each)
Scones- Small and more like shortbread cookies. They were pretty heavy though. I prefer traditional scones. The cream that came with it was more like double cream than clotted cream and the jam was on the watery side.
Pastries: All exceptionally good. My favourite was the pistachio eclair and peanut cookie. I wish they were bigger though.
Chocolates: All decadent and rich, with unique flavours.
Price: £33/person including the chocolate tree and £25 without. Very reasonable for Central London
Overall: I would come back to Bafarat for the coffee and pastries. I think ordering a regular sized pastry (especially pistachio eclair) with coffee would be more satisfying for me personally than having bits and pieces from the afternoon tea.

The cafe is good with excellent coffee and dessert. The atmosphere was good. The vanilla falling is delicious and must. The coffee Americano is perfect the cappuccino also perfect 👌🏻. Overall all the place is good the one of the staff no comment I felt he was unprofessional and rude.

Beautiful cafe with yummy pastries. Located on one of the quieter streets in Soho, this cafe is a perfect spot for a meeting. Pastries are beautiful and the beverage selection is great. I would definitely come back to try more of the pastries and cookies.

AFTERNOON TEA at 📍@bafaratcafe
Rating: 🙂 Good but wouldn’t recommend
Thoughts 💭
Savoury: the focaccia’s were nice but the truffle Croque Monsieur was excellent.
Scones: this is more like a biscuit then a scone. I didn’t bother eaten them as they just turned too dust.
Cakes: the cheesecake was exceptional. The rest were good just nothing that stood out.
Chocolate tree: we paid additional for this but didn’t really enjoy any of them.
Overall, I would say this wasn’t worth the money at all. The hospitality was amazing everyone was so friendly which makes it hard to diss the food too much. But, paying £66 for two and the only things really enjoying was a bite size cheesecake and croque monsieur.

Modern place with a lively atmosphere. Amazing friendly staff who were super helpful and informative. Food and drink was amazing, the savoury items just as good as the sweet items! A definite must try if you're in London, even just for a quick fancy snack, a must!

Came here for a quick cake and coffee with a friend. We were specifically coming for the Arabic coffee, but we’re told “it’s not on today as it takes 35 minutes to make”. Disappointing, but on a wet midweek day kind of understandable - but in that case, please remove from the menu board if it’s not available!
Instead we opted for a couple of eclairs and a coffee each. The patisserie was good, coffee was average. However, the service was not. Our server used his bare hands to pick up the cakes from the display (no gloves) and then remove the cardboard from underneath each - not the levels of hygiene we were expecting.
General service was also lacklustre - definitely not service with a smile, more or less we didn’t feel like we were the focus at all - just ‘there’. A shame give we spent over £20 for two cakes and a coffee each. I can see why the cafe wasn’t busy. Not somewhere I would return - there are plenty of alternatives in central london which offer the same standard, but much friendlier service.

Really really nice hot chocolate. Took my first sip and was pleasantly surprised. People who work here are really nice and make you laugh. Nice and stylish place to sit with friends.
