Reviews of Chairs & Coffee
H. J.
BEST coffee in town! Such a great spot to socialize with friends, do work, or even stop by and talk to the barista! The banana bread is 10/10 - a must try! This is my new neighborhood coffee shop and should give it a try ❤️ ☕️
L. N.
Chairs and coffee is always a fantastic experience for me, serving amazing products and adding a personal touch to the service.
The coffee is great, with a wide a range of non dairy alternatives available and a rich espresso paired with them perfectly. The cakes and food are all freshly made, and on lunchtimes at the local school I often leave the building and opt to enjoy the food there.
The manager Roberto gives fantastic service. Full of life, he always takes a genuine interest in the lives of his clientele, and it’s his service that’s keeps us coming back. Thanks guys!
M. C.
Seeing this cafe online, I was eager to try it out simply based on the decor. Finally made it today and it did not disappoint. It was a cozy space to sit and work. Coffee and pastries are good and will be back to try the food that also looked delicious. Loved the idea with the chairs! Massimo was very kind and great to get to know during my visit. The perfect local coffee spot!
Y. T.
Cozy and home-y ambience with fantastic coffee and food. Eggs were fresh and creamy made passionately by the Italian owner who is so welcoming and friendly.
S. J.
Food is very tasty and the coffee was delicious. A big thank you to the crew there for being very friendly and welcoming.
F. F. M.
Amazing place!!! They catered for our studio brunch last weekend, there was 30 of us and everyone had a great time
Food was amazing, service was friendly and accommodating. Great coffee too. Would 100% recommend 😊
C. M.
The place looks nice and I wanted to go there and eat from the first time that I’ve see people enjoying they breakfast at the outside table.
We went for brunch and they told us they don’t do food anymore, but the breakfast menu was still on the counter. The lady told us that the kitchen is closed but after other staff said it was ok to order.
They told us they have only scrambled eggs so we order 2 scrambled with avocado, halloumi and salmon on the side.
The portions were a bit not what we expected for the money that we paid. The salmon size was a bit stingy. Just the egg portion was ok.
They could’ve send a side portion of salmon to make it up for us but that didn’t happen.
Even the coffee was too pricey and not that good as I was expected.
I don’t think we will be going there.
E. P.
Amazing coffee and pastries, Roberto is always great to chat with and always greets you when walking in!
Recommend their sandwiches too!
Update: the kitchen is now fully opened, I tried the Eggs Benedict which are amazing!
Definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
E. W.
Popped in for a quick coffee and stayed for two oat milk lattes and brunch. The freshest avocado on sourdough bread. The manager Roberto is very accommodating and friendly, highly recommend Chairs and Coffee :)
M. M.
Amazing amazing amazing !!! The best place in Fulham to go for a brunch!! Freshly squeezed juices, top coffee and best of the best egg royale , egg Benedict and all brunch dishes. I highly recommend this place. Roberto and Maha are great duo to make your experience even more special!
M. W.
Roberto was very friendly - food was great - ordered eggs Benedict - crispy bacon, toasted muffins was good! Highly recommend their flat white - awesome drink during a cold weather :) keep it up! Fresh orange juiceee too!
S. G.
Very nice coffee shop and brunch experience. Great coffee and very creative menu for brunch, which gives customers very good appetite for starting their first Sunday meal. Many customers here but not crowded at all, lots of small tables and good space. Very chill and cool place ~ satisfied 🥰
S. M.
The manager and the stuff give an excellent service and the breakfasts are amazing ! Glad I found this place!

Very cozy place where to have a delicious brunch or also a quick break from work, especially with the owner Massimo who is so kind and will let you feel like at home, if not better! Best Cappuccino in the area!
I’ll surely come back.
B. L.
Stopped by for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. The manager, Roberto, was so friendly, attentive and helpful. Had the cheesy eggs and turkey bacon on sourdough toast and it was DELICIOUS! Fresh orange juice as well. Definitely coming back, especially for the expanded menu which they said was from 1st September. Great little spot!
H. B.
I've always had a great experience at Chairs&Coffee, whether it's a quick coffee in the morning or weekend brunch! Roberto is always incredibly friendly and happy to chat. Definitely worth checking out.
C. c.
Roberto is the best!! Manages and takes care of the café like its his own :) great coffee and amazing food. Cant wait for the menu when kitchen opens.. definitely one of best cafe in town.
J. L.
Everything in this cafe is great, we tried Egg Benedict, flat white, mocha, and they all taste wonderful. Roberto was very friendly.
m. r.
Had my first venture into Chairs &Coffee today and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I ordered goats cheese, spinach and mushrooms on toast with a side of scrumptious scrambled eggs, it hit the mark, add to that friendly service.
I definitely will be returning.
K. K.
Great place with fantastic service from the manager Roberto. Absolutely loved the matcha croissant. Wish i took a picture as they looked as good as they tasted. Will be back
S. D.
Delicious Matcha crossaints and Italian coffee 👍
L. M.
Lovely coffee shop near Fulham Broadway - nice chilled vibe. Food was great and Roberto (manager) was super friendly. Roberto mentions the menu will be expanded from 1st week of September, will definately be coming back! 😍🤤
N. H.
5 star eggs, 5 star coffee, 5 star service! My wife says the best freshest zumo de manzana ever!
B. D. M.
The food was delicious and fresh. The place is also cozy. The staff was not very helpful though, we waited for a few minutes seated before figuring out that we would have to pickup the menu by ourselves and order at the till. A quick word/explanation would have made it more enjoyable. The table was sticky.
S. C.
Great breakfast, magnificent coffee and the manager Roberto makes sure that you feel welcomed and well taken care of.
K. B.
Excellent place, delicious food and coffee! Roberto the manager and his staff makes you feel just like home.
A. H.
Great coffee and great service. Roberto is very friendly and welcoming. This place has become one of my regulars for my morning coffee fix.
S. P.
A great little shop serving delicious coffee.
The beans are roasted in the shop guaranteeing freshness. Absolutely delicious. This would certainly become a regular visit for me, but I'm not local!
N. K.
Interesting cafe. Ordered flat white to go, £2.50, reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow considering there wasnt many people. Might come back again for breakfast; the menu looks yummy.
S. T.
Amazing coffee shop nice and cozy. Staff very friendly and the dish with banana bread is delicious!
M.
Great coffee in Fulham with delicious home made cakes 😋
2 drinks (flat white and drip coffee) and 2 cakes (brownie and almond cake) for £11
A. K.
Very dirty tables and not great communication with staff. Although the brunch was lovely that was the one saving grace
D. B.
Relaxed and very friendly atmosphere - delicious scrambled eggs avocado and smoked salmon... coffee, exceptionally good too! Thank you!
c. p.
Amazing manager Roberto gives the family vibe in cafe and maximillano is really great too.. great team great food great coffee
K. B.
Best coffee in Fulham!! The manager is also a legend and very friendly. They are starting to serve brunch and food in September which sounds fantastic!!
P. M.
Fantastic cafe with great coffee, good breakfast, friendly staff and a fun vibe
K. G.
I just tried Iced Latte and could tell coffee was good quality although it was a little bit on the bitter side.
Scrambled eggs on sourdough bread was a hit
K. W.
First cafe I ever ate at after moving to London and it did not disappoint. Wonderful staff, great coffee and have sampled most of their menu and love the toasted banana bread with fruit/yoghurt and well as the avocado with bacon and sriracha.
Not laptops policy in effect on the weekend, but in such a small space it does enable you to get seated for Sat breakfast as the tables turn over quicker.
A. K.
Very tasty poached eggs!
P. S.
Nice coffee and atmosphere but they have a no laptops policy on weekends. We came here to relax and work now have to leave.
H. A.
The coffee is amazing, the food not so much.
B. M.
Charming service, excellent food, perfect coffee. What more can you ask for?
l. b.
Coffee very good. Light and airy feel about it. Cosmopoliton feel with some nice art on the walls. Tables outside also. Breakfast extremely good and tasty. Crisp bacon and scrambled eggs on sourdo bread ...... mmmm
N.
Cosy local neighborhood café with a nice interior and excellent cuisine for brunch, afternoon snacks, coffee and lunches. Fairly priced and quick service. Walk-in only.
R. R.
Really nice space, lovely staff. The food was of such freshness! I had the mushroom and spinach and goat cheese on open toasted sourdough. It was very (almost too) big and very tasty.
S. G.
Very limited bakery/pastry options. Well, maybe it’s because COVID-19.
Coffee was very mediocre and service was quite slow, but the staff seemed pleasant! Maybe it’s better for brunch, as people around us seemed to enjoy their food more than I was enjoying my banana bread with coffee.
R. H.
Amazing brunch! Lovely staff, great service. Would highly recommend 👌🏻
O. G.
I've been buying my coffee beans here for a while and their espresso roasts especially of late are delicious. Great to have an independent roaster so local, naturally the coffee made in house is also very tasty. Place has a brilliant buzz too, glad to see these guys doing so well!
A. P.
Fantastic brunch and attentive staff. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor and is a popular spot but didn't have a problem finding a table. Even if you don't live in the area, worth going out of your way for brunch! Only complaint is I wish they sold the grain bread by the loaf because it's incredible!
F. S.
Lovely atmosphere with great decoration. Beautiful sky light in back area. The lady was friendly but my almond milk flat white came out separated from the coffee with curdled milk. Almond milk is tricky and it still tasted nice. Coffee comes from 80 Stone local coffee roasters in Fulham. Cute art on walls for sale. Will come back for brunch some time. They have a 'No laptops or tablets on weekends'. Free wifi for 2 hours.
J. H.
One of the few places around here that does a decent filter. Excellent light roast perfectly suited for the Ethiopian coffee. Espresso based drinks also good and a range of food which mostly seems paleo oriented. In my view the coffee is low prices whereas the food is rather expensive.
B. C.
Well reviewed in the 2018 London Coffee Guide so gave it a go when working in town for a few hours from late morning to mid afternoon (Thurs).
The business apparently used to be more a wine bar but the owners realised that Fulham Broadway is not that vibrant in the evening so attention was switched to coffee. And what a good job they do of it.
Beans roasted on site (noisy machine whirring away in the cafe but smell of the roasted beans more than makes up for the noise - plus the roasting adds character!) and house blend make for a very nice espresso-based coffee. Also the first place I’ve been that offers a “short black” as well as a 6oz long black and 8oz americano, great for someone who loves a shorter black coffee with all the extra flavour it brings but something that also lasts a touch longer than an espresso!
Friendly staff, tasty lunch options and baked goods and nice chilled atmosphere. I can understand the good write up!
M. R.
I wanted to like this cafe. I really did. Service was fine. They offer pastries “imported from Italy,” which is either a fantastic example of EU free trade or an outright lie. (Perhaps the recipe was imported?) There are trade magazines lying about, which were interesting to see. The menu is diverse—even Vietnamese-style coffee (with condensed milk) is listed. At the end of the day, I suppose the “no laptop weekend” policy and excessively hipster layout turned me off, but to each, his/her own. (January 2018)
J.
Expect a little extra, some tasty twist on the usual subjects: we really loved the avocado toastie (grains and herbs make it taste really exotic) and the mushroom toastie (generous amount of mushroom, truffle oil), both on sourdough. Coffee's also good. Recommended :)
G. T.
Delicious toasted banana bread with butter. Great tasting coffee and prices are reasonable. Service can be slow but if you aren’t in a rush, enjoy.
L. J.
What a wonderful place! I had the most lovely coffee and cake and they even roast and grind their own coffee beans so you can take a bag to use at home. Fantastic independent local business.
A. L.
Super nice brunch and amazing stuff, Roberto is the best!
T. S.
All goods spot. Great coffee
T. T.
Great variety of beans for purchase, decent coffee and a good breakfast-lunch menu. They also stock Caffeine magazine and manual brew coffee gear. Not too special but decent enough to visit again.
Q. A.
Serve coffee in small glasses so, should be half the price! Felt a little on the pricey side but happy to support the local as opposed to the franchise.
Sublime music too. I came here once after aa long bike ride by chance. Today I'm here gain by chance. Chairs and coffee, you show up when I need you. Onwards!
M.
I liked this place, good coffee and a coffee roaster in situ too . Nuff said!
M. R.
Good coffee and sandwich. Welcoming staff and cool atmosphere.
E. L.
This used to be my favourite breakfast spot in London, however I think there's some new staff who've been put on an need some more training.
The avo on stoneage bread & coffee are normally to die for. If you get some on a good day - highly recommend.
c. h.
roberto is kind and the food is cozy and satisfying!!
H. B.
Stylish quiet cafe, good for breakfast although the food looked nicer than it tasted. I had the mushroom on toasted rye bread with truffle oil, the oil was so potent I couldn't taste much else and the toasted rye was very crunchy
M. A.
Very very good coffee. Always enjoy their scrambled eggs with either the truffle oil and prosciutto or mushrooms and taleggio.
M. F.
Really nice chilled out coffee shop. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Coffee really good. Always worth going in if you're in the area
J. D.
Great cafe, new manager is very friendly 👍
T. B.
Great little local coffee shop offering a large range of coffee in various styles.
Food is great and different from the other options in the area.
Always a great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.
K. D.
Cosy (quite small) aussie breakfast place. Really friendly staff and good prices. Had the most amazing burrata with parma ham, never wanted the meal to end! My companion had the Canadian style banana bread and was extremely pleased with his choice as well. Highly recommend this place!
V. C.
The breakfasts “on toast” on this place are really really nice. I had the salmon and it was beautiful. Nice portions and the staff is really friendly. Highly recommended.
K. S.
My favourite independent coffee shop in London. Staff is great and watching them use that authentic coffee machine is exciting by itself :D Coffee is top notch obviously.
H. A.
I stopped for a coffee as my job was very close to this shop, bought coffee beans for my bean to cup machine the quality and taste of coffee is amazing.
C. A.
This morning I had the best coffee experience ever, I will definitely come back!
Good atmosphere and excellent food! Very easy to find.
S. C.
had to ask for the seasonning of my advocado toasts, its flesh had a few brown spots and coffee could have been hotter... Yet excellent place to have brunch especially on weekdays where you can read confortably at a table!
A. L.
What a gem! There should be more places like this in London! Fair prices, delicious food. If it only weren't that far from where I live, I would definitely see myself eating here most days.
P. M.
LOVED.IT. I didn't even know Ealing has such an amazing brunch place. Ran into it accidentally and my friend and I decided to try it. Cannot recommend it enough! Lovely.
B. D.
Nice spot. Food options were very good. Coffee was great. Service was a little spacey.
E. P.

C. M.
Good coffee but service is so painfully slow no matter what time of the day it puts me off coming here
M. N.
It’s Ok. Food is nice but place is not super clean and staff are too busy taking orders or cooking to really clean (they do take away plates but don’t really wipe tables or make sure floor is clean)...
M. K.
Great coffee, food is tasty though serves are smaller than I would like. (Not sure if standard for the area though).
M. L.
