Lovely cafe for a brunch with good customer service and a homy feeling. We had the quiche and the avocado mashy toast, both dishes were delicious. Lovely combination of flavours with quality ingredients and attention to detail. Coffee was good too.

The croissants at the French Cafe are about the best I've ever had: especially their almond ones. The team have worked so hard throughout what must have been a very difficult period to continue to provide great service to their customers and have expanded their takeaway range of french goodies to include treats like jumbo packs of madeleines. The hot breakfasts have always been spot on - and the coffees too, especially now they're serving Oatly! Keep up the good work :)

This little gem of a cafe remains open during this difficult time. I get my flat white (vegan option available) here most mornings. Please support the cafe as it struggles to preserve some semblance of normality in the Forest Hill area.

The breakfast are very good. I like to pop in for just the simple things like tea with toast ,which is great and the staff a so friendly passing the time with you making you feel so welcome I go with family and friends whenever I have the chance as it's so nice.

We are missing, since moving, the excellent coffee and a wide range of delicious snacks, cakes and full meals from the lovely bunch of people at The French Cafe - who enjoy strong support from their many local customers every day. Especially good for the doggie community being so near Peckham Rye Park, with our canine friends made to feel very welcome. Bravo Veronique & team!

Lovely staff, great food, reasonable prices. Lots of veggie options, but also excellent bacon. Quality ingredients. Love going there after Peckham ParkRun. It's not SE15 trendy, but that's it's charm - a genuinely warm and friendly cafe with no attitude and a delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Soooooo nice my favourite is cheese straws and I always get them! I am addicted to the cheese straws 😲 it also has a really nice aesthetic with lots of skiing pictures and posters. The stacked wood and animals pelts also make this aesthetic awesome ;^) . It makes me want to go skiing again!

Hmm, a mixed bag. Really lovely, child friendly, staff and inpecable waitress service (which is unusal in a little cafe). Also has really nice decor and a sweet little outdoor seating area. I ordered a ham and cheese crossaint and a pot of Earl Grey and my young companion a gingerbread man. Sadly the crossaint was not great, extremply greasy and had been put in a pannini press rather than warmed through. The cheese was pretty bland and very low on ham. The weirdest thing though was that it came with crisps and a salad that was drenched in a really horrible, thick dressing. Why would i want crisps and gloopy salad at 10 oclock in the morning? I dumped these on another plate. The gingerbreadman was well recived though I had a good cup of tea. On balance I would say definatley drop in for tea and cake - the cakes and tray bakes all looked delicious and reasonaly priced. Not sure about meals or crossaints though, hopefully they will improve the quality.
