Reviews of Home Made Community Cafe

Is a nice play but is not really big, doesn’t have much space for kids to walk around so they bang their heads easily with the tables(maybe changing the tables to other way..) not much toys any way, lots of books.
Nice food, I recommend it and the staff is nice and polite. They have vegan cakes which is really good as my friend is allergic at milk

I have been going to the cafe in the park since it opened almost every day, prior to that the cafe at higham hill, both run by Marius and Andreea. They were community oriented people and very popular. Gabby has taken over now and I am sure it will continue the same.

Hidden gem! Fantastic roast dinners on Sundays and bring your own wine for a modest corkage charge. The owners couldn't have been nicer and the food is incredible. We've already made arrangements to go again with a group of friends. You may have to navigate yourself around several buggies and prams when you're there and seating is limited but it's worth it. This place is a must try and incredible value for money, I can't recommend it highly enough.

This cafe is truly a hidden gem! They serve the best coffee for miles around. The owners are friendly and dedicated to their customer base. The Sunday roasts are on another level!
The rarest roast beef! The juiciest, tastiest roast lamb and the roast pork and crackling is to die for! All served with a well cooked selection of vegetables and roast potatoes. The crowning glory is the gravy which is rich and meaty with a hint of rosemary and perfection with a selection of condiments. This is something not to be missed!

Great family run place, always has good coffee and cakes. The best of all, now you can have here one of the best Sunday roasts in town! Vagans are really well looked after here too. The potato and leak soup was awesome with the truffle oil. Super friendly family atmosphere, it's amazing how it transforms into a restaurant on Sundays. Thanks for running this great place!

What a lovely little cafe.
Came here for a light lunch for a birthday (8 of us) and had the sunday roast! Really excellently cooked food, friendly and helpful family running the cafe. Would definitely come again.

Always lovely home made food and a cosy friendly atmosphere. Great children's play area and lots of different events (which will hopefully start up again before long). A great neighborhood cafe.

Great vegan and gluten free cakes, loads of space inside and hundreds of toys and books to entertain any children you may have with you.
The savoury menu also looked extensive and they do a great of teas.
My only quibble would be that on the day we visited it was very difficult to tell whether the cafe was open as the shutters on the window were down and the door was closed. I know this is just the way the building is designed but it made us think twice before trying the door.

Amazing, cozy and welcoming atmosphere, the Home Made Community Cafe is making you feel like home. Food is astonishingly delicious and Andreea is a friendly and humble owner/manager/full time staff, who brings a smile on everyone’s face. We will definitely return again and again.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a drink.
Friendly staff, lovely coffee and fantastic carrot cake. Plenty of menu choice from toasties and paninis to full breakfasts and dinner options.
Pleasant little cafe with toilets, just what this park has needed for years.
