Both “charming” and “delicious” spring to mind when thinking of Local Hero. The avocado toast is quite tasty and the add-ons perfect. Add to that the relaxed coffee shop ambience, and you’ve got yourself a perfect Sunday brunch destination, made even more attractive on a rainy London day…

Lovely cafe in Fulham. Met here for a catch up and breakfast, good food and drink options and reasonably priced too. Good service and friendly staff, I got the toasted bagel and ham croissant with hot chocolate and it was good. Many seating options both inside and out.

Lovely brunch! Dog friendly brunch spot in Fulham. Good variety on the menu for food and drinks. The poached eggs with avocado and chorizo was delicious and generous portion size. Well priced for what you get. Friendly staff.

great little independent cafe with amazing cakes, good vegan selection. I tried polenta cake and it was fantastic. Sandwiches are also good and all freshly made. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are on the higher end but i didn't mind as its not a chain

Without exaggeration, the best breakfast I’ve ever had.. (chorizo, poached eggs and avocado on soudough bread). Espresso was phenomenal and precision extracted. (3rd wave coffee)

In these unprecedented times I'm very grateful to the owners and staff for keeping my local coffee shop open so that I and many other people can have some sense of normality by treating ourselves to a coffee. Their coffee is superb, the staff are, in my view, front line workers keeping their customers happy. I can't wait for 23rd June to go there, sit down to drink my favourite coffee and have full English breakfast. Keep up the good work. Support local, Local Hero. x

Really delicious food and coffee with a great outside area round the back. Service is very efficient and the staff seemed lovely. A must visit in Fulham / Parsons Green and we will definitely be returning soon!

In my opinion I would say it is one of the top places to take brunch in Fullham. It's a little expensive for the quantity they give but in terms of quality I have to say it was very good. It is also a very cosy place that have amazing coffee

I walked by this place on my way to the tube every day for almost a year, until I finally decided to try it. First, breakfast menu. Their breakfast options are great and more important than that, I honestly think that they serve the best coffee in the area (and you probably know how hard it is to find a good coffee place in London). I recommend to add one of their juicy chocolate chips cookies to your breakfast - they are really unique. I was not disappointed. Great service, very friendly staff!

Fantastic staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Coffee is great here as are the salads. However it is not the welcoming local cafe it once was. Prices keep going up, newspapers are no longer provided and it closes earlier in the day. In my view there is too much emphasis on serving mainly gluten free and vegan options. Great to have a choice but they're presented as healthier options even though the dishes often have hidden calories and gluten free is not automatically better. I sometimes wonder if it's partly an excuse to charge more. Cafe in danger of losing regulars to more customer friendly alternatives in the local area.

Really good quality healthy food and great coffee. A bit expensive for what it is but just worth it. Hard to get a good table, especially if you're a party of more than 2, because there are way too many people working there. One person taking up a table for 4 people is absolutely standard here. Management should do something about this.

This is my go-to coffee shop in the neighborhood with really good coffee, polite baristas, and a nice atmosphere. In addition, on the occasion where I have time, their breakfast is good as well and there’s a nice quasi-outdoor seating area in the back.

I had an enjoyable experience here. It has a hipster-style, trendy food menu. Coffee was good. My avocado toast with salmon came with a slightly spicy sauce on the plate itself, which provided a pleasant and unexpected kick. (January 2018)

So good even, that I felt obliged to write a review. :) People who want their coffee strong might want to have theirs with an extra shot, however I like it just the way they serve it. Friendly, welcoming staff. Instead of those hip, pretentious cafés where you feel out of place, this place is welcoming and honest.

One of my favourites in the Fulham/Parsons Green area. Usually have the Eggs Benedict or Florentine and all aspects are pretty perfect. Coffee is stellar too. Can get a bit cramped if there is a few weekend prams in there, but they have a nice outdoor area in the back that is ideal for summer days over a flat white.

You should definitely try Local Hero if you haven't already. Especially early in the morning, when the freshly baked chocolate cookies are taken out of the oven. They are sooo delicious that I can eat tons of them. They do make nice cappuccino , but I'm not much of a coffee lover so I stick with the cookies.

I love eggs Benedict and florentine, so I had the florentine which comes on a spinach instead ham! In my opinion, despite that is a very well presented dish and taste delicious, disappointedly comes on an toast that you can hardly slice it! Rather comes on a muffin or an soft toast which makes easier to cut it and bite it! Although, the ambiance is very cozy and nice! Oh, the brownie is creamy, so delicious!!! Must try it!
