S. A. N.a nice find just a short walk from Kensington High Street, cozy with nice coffee and cake selection. close to the zebra crossing, can be easily missed if you are driving.
S. M.Lolly's Cafe is a hidden gem, but only a 5-minute walk from Kensington High Street Underground Station, and the owner, Lauren, is both very helpful and welcoming, and serves excellent coffee.
That said, I have yet to try the homemade cakes, etc, but the cafe is very clean, and well-presented, and has a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The decor is essentially pink in colour (unusual for me as a male) but very feminine and tasteful. (The decor design and colour was Lauren's husband's creation.)
Lastly, there are toilet facilities, but they are located in the basement, via a tight, steep, spiral staircase. So be warned.
M. L. E.I walked by on Sunday and noticed the pink lights and chains hanging from the ceiling.. my daughter dragged us in there and we had coffee and cake, the cakes were delicious! We all ordered different ones and tried each others, each one of them were fantastic. The staff were really friendly and took pictures with my daughter and let her play with the cafes decor, we had a fantastic time and I think it will be our SundaY tradition. I’m going to try the food next as I saw someone order a sandwich too!
A. C.Called in for a late lunch and cuppa. Really enjoyed my smoked salmon and watercress baguette with nicely seasoned side salad. Received a very warm welcome and friendly service, would definitely recommend and will visit again when next in the area.
