Pintadera Café in West Norwood is the epitome of classics Italian service, all delivery with warmth, friendliness and grace. When I’m this part of town it’s always my go to. Classic Italian fair, brilliant coffee and old fashioned attentive service through. Today I only had time for couple of oat flat whites, next time I have some of the delicious food I saw on the menu and what was being served. Don’t list it LOVE IT.

It's been there for a few years now and is a place I like to come back to. Really nice staff (Italian) and good coffee. I can also recommend the Magic Mushroom baguette. There are gluten free options, which is great as many places are still not offering them.

Nice little corner of Italy in London ! Absolutely gorgeous gem of a cafe. Lovely homely decor on the inside with wonderful and courteous staff serving... Coffee and toast lovers look no further. Nice quaint little space to have a break, think, eat and work. All products sources from Italy (as far as I could tell anyway) for that authentic feel. Honestly honestly recommend !

Went to this place with my partner. We ordered both past from the specials, one of the best dishes we had in a while. The venue is child friendly, has vegetarian and vegan options, and an extensive menu. I totally recommend this place for any occasion.

My daughter in law and I popped in here for a quick coffee. Lovely and spacious inside and a nice sheltered garden at the back. The coffee was delicious. Service was not so good. Not a smile or a “thank you” from the man who served us. Maybe he was in a bad mood, but it was off putting. Will I go back? No.

Was passing through the area today and entirely by random I stopped for some lunch. The vegetable and pasta soup, with goats cheese, was wholesome and delicious. I cannot vouch for the rest of the food but, to my eye, it all looked good. Well made, rich tasting double espresso afterwards. The staff were also charming.

I went here with my partner on a whim. Google led the way one lunchtime as I contemplated the fair uplands of the school holidays. This is an outstanding Italian cafe. The room is pretty without being pretentious. I think the owner's roots are in Sardinia, given the Ichnusa beer displayed prominently and the wedge of orange our paninis were served with. That's all I'm going on here. Sherlock Holmes' job is safe. The paninis were exceptional. Check out their menu. In my experience eating paninis in London tends to be a matter of finding new ways to put nondescript foodstuffs in nondescript bread with molten cheese. These are then squeezed together by way of a compression machine not unlike that found in the final sequence of the first (and best) Terminator movie. My Shardana actually made me smile when eating it, and I'm not given to smiles of pleasure. The freshly squeezed orange juice was perfect, sweet and sharp. Similarly, that incongruous wedge of orange was a lovely way to end our meal. What can I say, I like good citrus fruit. For myself, and I know tastes differ, Pintadera's coffee was as good as I've had in this part of South London: better than Perks and White's offering in Herne Hill, and for me that's praise indeed. It's worth coming here for the coffee alone. The service is good. Unobtrusive and attentive and just the right amount of old-world insouciance that when they're thoroughly nice to you as you leave, you hear yourself incontinently gushing in gratitude. And indeed, why not? They've just fed you beautifully. The food here was so good that after our initial visit my partner and I attempted to have lunch here the next day. The cafe was shut for refurbishment. I placed a consoling arm around her as her knees gave way. When I reached the car I too began to sob over the wheel. I'm over it now. I'll be back soon enough.

this is great. here they cook very tasty coffee and eat the most delicious croissants. I live not far from here so I come here often. I recommend it. Prices are low. Convenient Parking near the entrance. The interior is pleasant and unobtrusive. Good music. I like it here

This could be the best little Italian café in London. Visited friend in West Norwood and lunched here both days. Outstanding. The place, food and staff have join de vivre! Tried the veggie lasagne and pasta fungi.Thanks Jarek. Mouth watering and filling. We are also fans of the house red "Primitivo". I can see why friend and her partner love it here - Happiness on a plate. Great stop for coffee and paper time too. Hope to return next time I'm in London.
