My first time today, and it was truly excellent. My mozzarella, and tomato toasted roll was delicious. The toasted cheese sandwich was one of the best I've ever tasted! My flat white was pretty good, and the Earl Grey was served with a teapot and cup. Service was quick, polite, and courteous! I look forward to visiting again!

Best place for brunch in the neighbourhood at weekends; good-quality versions of the classics (Full English, Eggs Benedict) and interesting specials. Good for sandwiches and treats at any time. Excellent choice of cheeses, deli meats (esp charcuterie) and provisions (tea, coffee, chutneys, sauces etc). Friendly service too!

This is a real local gem in Barnsbury. Steve and Matt are great for a coffee and a quick chat. But they truly excel in their love and knowledge of delicious cheese and meats. They always have the most amazing delicacies in the cooler - one can never walk away disappointed.

This is my pit stop on the way to work for breakfast! The flat whites are Monmouth products and small but delicious. Try this with two financiers, and you are set for the day ahead. They also have a range of salads and sausage, cheese, ham, spreads etc produce. However, selection is limited. You are also able to sit down and breakfast; however, it is downstairs with limited windows. My best bet for this place: breakfast on the go on the way to wrok!

Came in here to try a new brunch place, and after a short wait headed to the lower level for a table. Staff are friendly and attentive and helped us through the menu. Overall though, the food is average. Coffee was slightly burnt and the brunch dishes were good but nothing spectacular. We bought some pastries to take home and they were great, custard doughnut was the best!

This is my favourite place for lunch and hot chocolate. I love their sandwiches and I have been spoiled so I can't order a hot chocolate from anywhere else. I would recommend going here for a brunch on a weekend. I normally have the full fry up which is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and the service is excellent. This place is a real gem.

One of my favourite coffee shops in London. Love that they serve Monmouth Coffee! Very friendly staff and delicious brunch on the weekends. They have a great selection of cheese! Dog friendly too :)

We adore this place. The Guardian review citing it as one of the top 50 places to go for brunch in the U.K. is well deserved. Their recent menu changes streamlined the options on offer but the quality of food is still great and it's definitely one of the best places to get a coffee in Islington. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Barnsbury.
