Came here on a cold day in Feb. Had a nice coffee, stayed for a couple of beers and some lunch. Very welcoming, pleasant staff and the best smelling toilets I have ever been in.

£19.20 for a small glass of fresh orange juice, a panini and slice of cake is fairly pricey, even for London. The staff were friendly and the aircon was on, so not all bad.

Overpriced. £27 for two sandwiches plus two drinks and service is too much. It is taking advantage of being in St James. My pear smoothie at £5 was simply pear juice and having put service of 10% on the bill, I was asked if I wanted to add a gratuity when I paid by card. If you want to eat for less Pret a Manger is 50 yards down the road. Nice staff though and friendly service.

We only stopped for coffee and cake - both of which were very good. Although it was £15 for 2 pastries and 2 drinks - this seemed a little expensive. The pasta selection looked fab!

Good choice of pastries but it is expensive for what they offer. Their justification is that these are the prices for the area, well this is questionable. What is bad is that the prices are not shown next to the food and then you feel ripped off, you expect reasonable prices. Pastries are £3.50 each.

We stop once,every year, for fresh coffee prior to having lunch at the Oxford and Cambridge Club across the road. Seating is limited but we always find seats. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee is good.

Amazing Italian cafe, the best coffee I had in London. Also lovely food well presented all very pleasant to the eye. Staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

On the day of the people's vote march the cafe was doing sensational service. 4 staff working very fast. I got served after 20 seconds of joining the queue.

To those claiming it's overpriced: they are still in business, so by definition their prices are right. They clearly serve a (discerning) local clientele. I found the service attentive and coffee delicious.
