I would give 100 stars 🌟out of 5 for the feeling everytine I leave this un assuming pocket of hidden Joy on Mare Street! The moment you walk in you feel the LOVE, the moment you taste that fresh Gozleme, straight from the Hotplate, you taste MADE WITH LOVE.... returning customers always come back and shout through the open door! "That flat bread I had last week.... absolutely LOVED IT!" The Hype is Real people! No matter how many times I have one, each one is an occasion of ecstatic joy! It's not only the Gozleme's you have to try, my new favourite is the Turkish breakfast! ...the winning way to start your day. Hussain and his beautiful wife deserve all the plaudits for what they have worked so hard to create. You won't be disappointed!!!

Came across this restaurant yesterday on my way another shop. I looked in and the lady was soo inviting. On my back I stopped and placed an order that was made right in front of you. 6* loved every last bit and I'll be going again soon!

I don’t have many words apart from "you should go and experience this yourself". You enter and it’s as if you’ve left hackney behind and have now entered this beautiful family’s home. They became my family through the love and kindness they’ve shown so treat them well.

This is totally an amazing find, a treasure in Hackney, amongst Hackney's trendy hipster cafes, Sun Gozleme House is a down to earth genuine place! Hussain and his family are so hospitable it's makes eating there such a joy! And to top that off the food is incredibly delicious, it won't disappointment. Try the Turkish coffee and home made flat breads made right in front of you! What you waiting for go go go ....

A beautiful and cosy place. Gozleme House is the perfect name, as the place is cute like a home and the management are very polite and caring. Being my 1st visit, I was offered tea whilst waiting and watched the gozlemes being made fresh rite there. I'm a huge fan of gozlemes but my 4 year old son is a super fan of the potato gozlem. Being a fussy eater, I was hoping he wouldn't notice the change in restaurant and to my surprise he did (for the better), he said this one was very yummy. Definitely a win-win situation. Looking very forward to visiting again. I'd definitely recommend you visit and try their yummy food, whilst enjoying a beautiful ambiance.

After seeing the reviews on here, thought to come see for my self, is it really as good as they say. Yes it is lovely service, clean and cosy. The food is delicious and filling.

Went here for lunch this afternoon and was told I was the first customer as they'd only just opened. I first experienced Gozleme ( a sort of folded flatbread with tasty fillings) whilst holidaying in Turkey last summer. I've been looking for something similar since my return and am happy to say this place delivers and is only a stones throw from home. I ordered 2 spinach and cheese Gozleme and 1 meat. They were prepared in front of me by the mother of this family run business and delivered in terms of freshness and flavour. With a houmous dip on the side, my lunch cravings were satisfied. At £4.50 a pop, I shall definitely be returning. Keep up the good work guys, I'll see you soon 👌
