Reviews of The English Rose Café and Tea Shop
S. L.
I came here twice—once for the full English breakfast and a scone, and once for the afternoon tea. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the scone was warm and delicious. The afternoon tea was decent—the cakes were a bit too sweet for my liking, but there was definitely enough food to fill us up. Staff are very friendly and the place has really nice decor with a very warm atmosphere. The cafe is a short walk from Buckingham Palace and is worth stopping for!

The place has a rustic feel to it. Kind of like in the old movies 🎥, even the music is from that time. I liked the area next to the door, you can see right across the street. To me it is a better than the one inside. Coffee was good, but the lotus cake is amazing.
A. T.
Cozy, good choice of tea and delicious scones. Went there spontaneously, and it was a good decision. Did not wait long for service nor food, but the seating space is quite tight. They also sell tea sets and souvenirs, which makes it extra charming.

Yes, English Tea (or Cafe) place in London is here. Very nice atmosphere and worming location. We enjoyed very much our breakfast and the service. The food was tasty and fresh. The location is excellent, close to Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace. Our experience was very positive and we recommend this place very much.

OMG thanks to Google I found this delightful cafe just round the corner from Victoria Station and at the bottom of Buckingham Palace. It really can be difficult to find somewhere that does a good breakfast at a reasonable price in central London. The English Rose will not disappoint. The staff are wonderful and the ambience they create in this little gem of a cafe is fab. I booked on line and had an email confirming my requirements soon after. Loved the odd cups and saucers and breakfast was ample. No rushing you to leave once you had finished I could happily have stayed all day, hope I will be able to get a table this time next year when I return to that part of London, although I may have to pop back sooner and try the afternoon tea. 💯% recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing! Happened to pass by, and decided to try the afternoon tea, as it was a very good price in the Middle of London, and we're so glad we did! It was not over crowded, the staff was super friendly and everything was so tasty - the scones was the best ones I've ever had! Thank you for a lovely afternoon ❤
H. B.
My favourite spot for tea and scones! The perfect alternative for those looking for a simple and affordable cream tea/treat rather than a full afternoon tea experience (although a full afternoon tea and other food options are also available here). I have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Arrived 20 minutes before an early closing recently and the staff kindly let us stay past closing a little while so we didn't have to rush. I also love the shabby-chic/vintage decor and tablewear - it delivers a very cosy and authentic feel. An absolute gem in the heart of London and a spot I will frequent regularly. Thank you!

Beautiful cosy atmosphere. Delightful tea room to come with friends or family. Very friendly and attentive. Thank you

Very pleasant, cozy place with a good vegan English breakfast (same as the vegetarian one with eggs removed). Fair price for portion size.
D. R.
Loved this place. Super cute and amazing location. The tea cups and plates are so beautiful and the experience is great. Had scramble eggs with roasted veggies and was really good. Also homemade scone with cream and jam. Loved it! Highly recommended it
T. B.
Quaint café 😊 very friendly staff and very nice food! Would definitely recommend!
R. C.
Great little traditional tea shop. The service here was phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, kind, just great all around. The scones are great, a secret recipe that I wish I could have and the other cakes are nice. Lovely quaint place to sit. With a tasty selection of teas too
U. T.
This is very cosy place for a morning tea time with friends and fmaily. Or for a traditional afternoon tea 🫖 ceremony.
Love it 😍
Location is spotless. Right near the Buckingham Palace, Victoria Train Station, legendary quaters of Belgravia 😻
Pop in for a nice time and sweet souvenirs featuring tea 🫖 time 🍰

What a great place to have eat, coffee, scones and/or breakfast. Highly recommended. Near Buckingham Palace (an 8 min walk). I think this is where I had the best tea in London.
A. G.
Very good scones and tea for the price, cute decor.
C. M.
One of just a few places in London that do a decent espresso and the cheesecake is amazing. All at an affordable price and in a tastefully decorated place. What’s not to like.
S. S.
We enjoyed afternoon tea here but quality was not what I expected. It was fifteen a person. Scones, brownie and carrot cake were dry, the mini lemon cheesecake was good, sandwiches should be crustless in my opinion. They were basic. Environment was quiet. Compared to the rest of London, the decor needed a bit extra attention. It’s the little things that make a place stand out above the others.
A. W.
This is a nice small cafe with good food and tea. We had a full English breakfast and a salmon and eggs breakfast with earl grey tea for two. All of the food was good and tea was nice. Beware though a mugger stood about 15 feet away and eyed our bags as we sat at the table outside until we moved them between tables.
R. M.
My gosh what a delightful place near Buckingham Palace. The food is great, try the chicken salad, it's awesome. The tea and cakes are delicious. And you feel like you're in the English countryside. Definitely worth a visit!
B. C.
Best scones ever, the club sandwiches are delicious too, and the staff very is so nice !
Such a great experience from London :)

What a wonderful little gem in the centre of London! Really glad to have stumbled upon it and especially the staff working there could not have been any more friendly and fantastic. I think the man's name was Alex, who provided the extra top customer service. The full English breakfast and coffee were super delicious and I'll make sure to pop in when passing by Victoria Station. Thanks again! X

How could I be in London and not be the slightest bit curious about a traditional English tea experience? It definitely feels just like walking into someone's grandma's living room. Very homey and charming, albeit just a tad creepy.
26£ Traditional Afternoon Tea for Two - finger sandwiches, cakes and scones, w/ clotted cream and jam, pot of tea:
We selected an Earl grey tea, which arrived in a pastel green pot, with a couple of teacups and saucers decorated with a purple wildflower design. I the small glass milk bottle the most endearing. The sugar tablets came individually packaged, and look like small pills.
The three-tiered plate stand arrived loaded with sweets. There was two of everything. At the base was two macarons, two pieces each of chocolate, coffee, and carrot cake. In the middle was a couple of ham sandwiches, and cucumber sandwiches cut into triangles. Lastly, there were two scones on top, along with clotted cream and jam.
I found the cakes almost overwhelmingly sweet. The sandwiches were not bad, but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the warm, buttery scones the most. The clotted cream tasted like a mix of mayonnaise and whipped butter, very thick, but with not much flavor.
Now I wouldn't come here just for the food, because the quality was not very exciting. Also the path to the downstairs bathroom was very narrow. But the service was very nice and I definitely satisfied my curiosity and fulfilled my desire to have afternoon tea in this restaurant. Overall, I give this place a 7/10.
A. L.
Nestled among high-end venues for afternoon tea is the delightful independent café The English Rose! Fantastic service and wonderful decor! We enjoyed the afternoon tea for two and ended up ordering more sandwiches and food! Highly recommend this café if you're looking for a spot to enjoy afternoon tea and relaxed conversation!
A. K.
Nice little place in central london with good quality food. The vegan sausage was nice but a bit salty. The price was a bit high but given the central location and high rent, its justified.
B. K.
I only got a cup of coffee but seemed like a great place for a light snack and tea/coffee of your choice. Cute cafe and loved the ambience. Would definitely recommend if you're passing by.
R. S.
Nice little place to stop for tea and cakes or soup and a sandwich after seeing Buckingham palace. We had the afternoon tea for two. The tea and scones were excellent, as were two of the three cakes it came with - the third cake was dry and grainy and the sandwiches were decent but nothing special.
Staff was friendly and didn't mind people lingering and chatting after their food was done. The tables are a bit crammed together - getting in and out of our corner table was nearly impossible when the place was full.
R. B.
Their scones and cakes are really nice. Staff has always been very friendly. Given it’s location, you would think it would be very touristy but I don’t find this. It’s very cosy and sweet.
G.
arrived at client office way too early and wandered to this independent coffee house :) in love with the cute victorian era deco and the kind staff:)
good priced and was yum: cappu + victoria sponge at £7 :)
be mindful they do have loyalty card :)
J. Y.
This is a lovely little cafe only a short walk from a very busy tourist area, so nice to find a little haven. Nice food and reasonable prices and attentive service. Recommended.
M. C.
Cozy little place not too far from Victoria station and Cardinal Place. We tried both the typical English breakfast and the vegetarian English breakfast and it was tasty and fulfilling. We paid the right amount of money for the breakfast and the drinks (iced latte and a very sweet iced tea) and the waitresses were really nice and friendly. Would really recommend to those who want to try the typical tastes of England.
M. V.
I had a homemade scone with cream and jam and it was absolutely amazing- delicious, fresh and warm. Great selections of teas and other snacks. Lovely old fashioned interior, affordable prices. The only drawback was that my table wasn’t cleaned properly.
S. B.
Very nice atmosphere and decor, we almost spent our entire afternoon here. We really enjoyed the scones and the service is very attentive. Great cakes too - the coffee and carrot cakes are priced well and taste great. Definitely a good stop on your way to or from Buckingham Palace.
M. B.
This was our third visit. I would say the portion size and choice of the afternoon tea spread has changed from the first time. It was still a lovely afternoon. The staff is lovely and they don't hurry you a long.
I. C.
We had a nice afternoon tea for our wedding anniversary. The place is really nice and cosy, right behind Buckingham Palace. The staff is friendly and the service quick. My only suggestion is to give a wider selection of cakes and sandwiches in the afternoon tea. However for the price that you pay you get a lot.
R.
Wonderful place, catered to my gluten free requirements by swapping things out on the menu with things I could have instead. Hot chocolate had an incredible taste 😋
E. C.
While traveling through London my husband wanted to try traditional afternoon tea and thankfully Yelp led us here! The English Rose is right in the theater district a short walk from Victoria Station, but far enough way that it's more quiet. The inside is so cute with a bar in the middle and two dining rooms (the front much smaller) on either side.
Our afternoon tea was very delightful. We paid around $30 for a big pot of chai and a tower of treats! The tea was piping hot (it was near Christmas so we were thankful) and all of the items on the tower were delicious! Our waiter was very pleasant and the bathroom downstairs was very clean! Highly recommend popping in if you're looking for high tea that won't break your bank!
C.
Not worth more in my opinion. Scone was not tasty and the vanilla cake was too dense and grainy. The carrot cake and macaroon were done nicely but that is it. Unsure why so pricy for a couple white bread sandwiches. Well actually less than 1 sandwich, 2 pieces of cake, biscuit and macaroon.
L. E.
Quaint spot close to Victoria train station. Staff were happy to make me a vegetarian English breakfast. They offer afternoon tea as well as meals. In and outdoor seating for small groups. Larger groups sit in the back. I think the staff could be a bit more cheery but other than that I would recommend for breakfast!
N. V. D. W.
Delightful for a tea, a breakfast or lunch or for a snack.
Large plate of english breakfast for 9.50£. Tea beginning around 3£. Homemade scones around 3£. I was afraid is was going to be expensive but it is not so much and it is worth its price.
Even Londoners come here 😉 great and really nice place with great service, give them good tips!

I have lived in England for two years now, and this is the best cream tea I have had. Hard to go wrong with a warm homemade scone!
A. S.
Lovely little tea house, great staff, delicious scones.
C. M.
Had champagne and a scone. It was lovely, cozy and inviting.
L. S.
Small and cozy cafe with a good selection of food and tea 😊 Great variety of old tea pots, cups and plates which was used for serving. I think it’s possible to buy old cups if you like them as well (not sure)!
L.
Great atmosphere, the afternoon tea for two is really great! The tea is tasty and the scones are lovely. Service was amazing, very friendly.
s.
Love the victoria sponge cake and cream tea scone!! Lovely and cozy place

Little place near buckingham palace for a wee breakfast before getting busy! Delicious scones and great service from the staff too!

The best place in London. Nice atmosphere and delicious scones!

Awesome place with lovely staff and tasty food! Highly recommended, I would return🙂

A very friendly tea, coffee and lunch shop! Excellent tastes, great tea and coffee, homemade cakes! Nice romantic decorated environment, friendly staff!!Low prices!
E. L.
Lovely breakfast and desserts and the ladies were amazing and very helpful :)

I have visited the English Rose Café three times now, and I really enjoy it! It may not be the most sophisticated cream or afternoon tea (tea bags instead of loose leaves tea, for example) but I really enjoy the teas they serve. The scones always come warm and taste fresh. The afternoon tea is very nice — £26 for two people is definitely very good value for what it is! The staff is always welcoming, patient and helpful, and the place itself is lovely decorated.
E. S.
Very cutesy interior and friendly staff. Lovely big buttery scones. However the jam and clotted cream for the scones is served in little paper cups so it’s hard to get all the cream out without putting your knife through the soggy paper and then spreading some of that paper on your scone.
M. S.
Good food, friendlybstaff and a such charming typical english place.
R. L.
Great scones and tea, Nice staff
B.
The afternoon tea was very nice, the staff were very friendly and the cafe was lovely. The only complaint was that although the scones were delicious, they were pretty small and we were given a very small potion of jam and cream (less than I'm used to being served for just one person) which was a bit disappointing. Would return though and there were plenty of cake and sandwiches to fill us up.
s.
By chance I discovered this cozy tea room when I was on the bus to Victoria Station.
As it is conveniently located by the station, I visited it one afternoon before I had to travel somewhere.
It was late in the afternoon and filled with people.
The decor was very homely but then it used to be a house, every corner of the place was beautiful.
The menu was down to earth and not overpriced which is a hard to find in Central London.
Overall, I had a great time there but the only thing that let it down was the scone which was a bit dry and hard.
Other than that, this place is highly recommended.
N. C.
Does everything you might imagine from the name, in a delicious and friendly style with a very personal touch.
A. C.
Cute tea room, although quite pricey for an average afternoon tea
S. W.
Nice place for a cup of tea and a sit down whilst out exploring the city. Friendly and attentive service.
P. M. R.
Loved the vibe of this place. Even though it was mid morning already on a weekday, the place was still hustling and bustling full of customers and a long line to order. Everything went quickly though, we were sitting and eating our breakfast after a shorter than expected wait. Cashier and owner working the front counter are very friendly!
S. M.
By far the best place to have an afternoon tea. It was a lovely cheerful place.
C. L.
We were a bit disappointed.
We ordered full English breakfasts from a very well written out menu, it seemed impressive on paper, but then when it arrived, the food was lukewarm, we had no hash browns which when we we asked the waitress she replied that we should have been told and that they’d given extra beans instead... of all things. It was her that took the order but she didn’t say anything about the lack of hash browns, which happens to be our favourite part of a breakfast so we were gutted. The sausages on the menu said ‘cumberland’ yet they were deep fried and of a very cheap quality.
We didn’t receive a check back, and our plates weren’t even cleaned by the time we were walking out the door.
Bit of a shame as it’s a very pretty cafe in a good location and has a lot of potential.
F. S.
Booked a window seat in advance but that got messed up on the day. However, Zamin went above and below in making it right. He was all genuine smiles and small talk as he flitted through the tea room, honestly the best waiter I've ever had/ seen. Food was great, the decor thoughtful and English (as you expect in this location). Great scones and brownies, will definitely be back.
l.
Cozy atmosphere and very nice interiors!
The staff is helpful and super kind.
Very satisfied with the English breakfast and the scones. I would definetely go there again.

My friend and I travelled from Australia to London and we met at this cafe for a reunion meeting with an old friend who lives in Great Britain. What a beautiful spot , right near Buckingham Palace, and such a cute name for the cafe! The staff were very attentive, polite and accommodating. Bathrooms were very clean and homely for a cafe right in the city. The club sandwich was good - fresh chicken breast and crispy bacon, however, a little too much mayonnaise for my liking. We noticed on the menu that they serve high teas, and saw neighbouring tables enjoying hot teas. Next time we will be ordering that! :D
R. B.
Good and plenty food. Right price and a perfect service. Recommended
T. M.
Beautifully themed, enough space for privacy and incredibly welcoming staff. Menu has several suggestions for all types of day, including traditional English tea for 2.
Loved the decor, and piano in the back area. Thoroughly enjoyed the old soul music too!
S. C.
What a hidden gem! Great food and drink served on gorgeous traditional tableware, at a very good price. The staff were wonderful: so friendly and helpful, but not over-bearing. I wish that I had some cash with me so I could’ve given them a very well-deserved tip. A great spot to do some work while waiting for my train, and I definitely shall be returning, especially when I have visitors from overseas, as it’s so British!
F. V.
Loved this cute little shop. Great full English breakfast. Went back a few times because the coffee (flat white) and pastries were delicious. Couldn't get enough of their scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam!
L. V.
Cute place but the traditional English breakfast is not really special and the scone is not that good
L.
Really love this place ! Good scones 🥰
A. R.
A tea for two is .for four impossible de finir. Good scones
a. b.
We visited this tea rooms after watching Changing of the Guard. The service we received was prefect. The waitress was extremely polite and she made sure we were happy with our order. We had coffee and a toasted tea cake. It couldn't be faulted. The decor was very eye catching and fitted the tea rooms perfectly. We hope to return again next year. Highly recommended.
M. C.
Quaint little cafe in a convenient location, tasty scones - not too sweet, but just right with clotted cream and jam. A nice atmosphere and friendly staff. If you're looking for a taste of the UK, this is it!
y. t.
Fantastic scones and fresh tea. Breakfast was also neat and homemade-like. I like its classic elegant atmosphere and props. One of Lovely memory I had in London. Quite peaceful rest before strolling the Park.
D. S.
Lovely atmosphere and great food.
K. S.
Delicious, Pretty Gem: the range of food on offer during the day is delicious. The cakes are luscious and home-made. The lovely teapots, with mismatched china cups & saucers, adds to that feeling you have returned to your grandmother’s home. A particular favourite is the breakfast with sourdough toast and very generous portions of eggs & smashed avocado.
T. S.
Very nice breakfast, good place to start London day out.
K. H.
A very delightful cafe! I had the afternoon tea for two and it was the perfect amount of tea and cakes/sandwiches for myself and my husband. The scones were delicious and served warm. The cafe is right next to Buckingham palace.
B. E.
A very pleasant place with a nice atmosphere and very tasty vegetarian English breakfast.
M. L.
I didn't get to try the food, but the place is adorable and the prices are very cheap. Nice pit stop place if you are exploring in the area.
p. h.
Quaint furnishings, staff were a bit overstretched because it can get very busy. Timings of food vary based on what you order on your table. Sandwiches were served first, then afternoon teas and anyone who just wanted a tea cake had to wait until the others were halfway through their meal.
S. R.
Cozy place, disappointed they ran out of tea, had coffee instead.
M. H.
Wouldn't expect this kind of setting for somewhere in Victoria, it's a nice and quirky change from all the standard pubs around the area.
I got the Fish & Chips special and it was good (especially liked the quality tartare sauce). The staff are nice. We went with a big group from work, much bigger than the original booking, and they were really accommodating.
Very relaxing atmosphere.
D. M.
Perfect place to have a great Traditional afternoon tea. Great filling food (homemade cakes) for a ridiculously cheap price!
Very nice familiar location and lovely people.
Will definitely come back again!
W. H. B.
We were stuck in the rain with a baby and my wife is pregnant. We kind of barged in but the staff was very helpful in getting us a table right away. Def a great snacky snack place while walking around the city.
R. r.
Best scones, friendly staff. Def good for breakfast and tea
N.
This tearoom has a lot of potential, however it feels neglected and needs some attentive focus. 4pm on a Tuesday and the cafe felt dirty and untidy. The china for my tea was severely chipped and cracked. Service was a little slow but kind, sweet and friendly.
M. G.
So many YES's! Was just in London for a week and stumbled on this. We wanted to have a proper English breakfast but we were running on classic vacation time and missed it. Instead we sat for high tea with bubbles. Everything about this place was a great experience. So cozy, nothing matched (I love that) giving it so much charm, snacks and tea were delicious, waitstaff was friendly. Was just a perfect find on my last day of vacation.
D. H.
Pretty average food and no specific vegan options, but located close to the Palace
L. L.
Really nice rosy place with tea and typically British scones! nom-nom
We also had bread with avocado and something like cottage cheese and it was really delicious too.
Service was polite and smiley :)
J. W.
Sweet little spot with the fanciest tea cups! They serve breakfast in here and even though they don't have a large variety on the menu, what they offer tastes actually great.
I've become a fan of their fruit skewers - it's really good. My second choice for sure would be lemon drizzle cake combined with warm coffee yaaas.
The only think I could dislike is the location, as it is pretty far from my area, but I'll be back here sometime.
T. B.
Delicious food, wonderful staff and cute place!
J. H.
A lovely little tea shop behind Buckingham palace on a small but busy street. The food is good and cakes/treats look good. The cafe is deep so sitting in back may be the place to be rather than listen to heavy traffic from outside or the window area.
E.
Really cute cafe with great veggie breakfast!
m. r.
Amaaziiiinnnggg ! .D
The scones and victoria’s cake are really good ! The hot chocolat and the tea too !
Very beautiful space ! And waitresses are really nice :)
Thanks for everything !
I hope to come back during an other holiday in London
R. S.
We enjoyed this place with English tea and scones, this place is worth a visit 😊
V. J.
Not the best afternoon tea you'll have in London but it's good enough for a nice afternoon. The tea is not loose leaf but rather from a bag. Sandwiches are very standard but the baguettes are ok. Service is good, tho. Very cheerful
M. H.
Near Buckingham Palace , great afternoon tea for two for 26£ total , really yummy good and nice staff.
3 quater sandwiches
A cake, brownie, macaron
Scones with clotted cream and jam
But saw people with différents variants
Great find !
A. G.
Gorgeous little cafe with a beautiful interior (definitely insta worthy). The tea, sandwiches, and pastries were delightful. A perfect place for afternoon tea. Definitely returning during my next stay in London.
T. S.
Cosy atmosphere. Visited for afternoon tea prior to a theatre visit. Kitchen was closed at time of visit so choice was limited to hot drinks and cakes. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was quite reasonable for London.
Y. M.
Nice service, delicius food and good prices. Highly recommended! :)
k.
Great atmosphere, lovely decor but as a British person , expected a good cream tea. The scones were average ... Much better at Maids of Honour Kew road
W. W.
The best independent cafe and tea shop in heart of London
C. C.
why is no one talking about their scones?! they’re one of the best i’ve had ever!!!! (not to mention their chicken bacon on potato. YUMMM) stumbled upon this cute little store after a visit to Buckingham palace. highly recommend!! 😍
A. G.
Absolutely loved this cafe. The tea selections were amazing, and their coffee was good too. We had the traditional English breakfast and the Avocado toast, and I recommend both as they were delicious.
R. M.
Such a lovely and cosy place. The staff is very kind. I would recommend a hundred percent if you want to have a traditional English breakfast!
E. G.
Thoroughly adorable tea room! I was waiting for my friend (who was late) and the staff were very attentive asking if I wanted anything in the meantime! I had a full English which was delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit!
M. A.
I love the decor of this place - quaint eclecticism where all the dishes adorning the shelves and being sipped/ eaten from are available for purchase. They offer brunch, afternoon tea and cream tea for decent prices. Better for pairs as opposed to bigger groups.
L. O.
Nice little cafe situated in a busy area. Good to see somewhere that isn't a chain cafe and considering it's location (heart of the tourist spots) I felt it was charging reasonable prices. The scone was tasty too!
G. L. R.
A lovely little cafe very close to Buckingham Palace. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice coffee and excellent home-style cooking. Can recommend the Tomato and Basil Soup (was soup of the day) and the Rustico Panini. Well worth a visit.
R. R.
Very beautiful cozy place, loved the atmosphere and the food.
We had a very nice breakfast and great coffee.
Perfect place to eat around Buckingham palace.
E. W.
Great value and perfect location. Pretty decent food and a good selection although vegans and those following a gluten free diet might struggle a little more. Soy milk is available. Despite being very busy service was still pretty speedy!
H. B.
Very quaint, great tea experience, affordable with a location close to many different sights of interest.
C. P.
Lovely little cafe, in the middle of the big city. This little place lets you take a breather from the fast paced city
L. K. M.
I didn't eat here, because an hour before closing they were out of everything but a few pastries. I don't believe in rating poorly for something I didn't try. However, it looked lovely and all the people looked happy.
A. “. A.
Honestly, it is a great location and likely a bit of a time capsule to tea time in the 1970s. Sadly, the quality of food and tea hasn't kept up with the times, and I got the impression most of the service came out of the bag from Sainsbury's or the like.
T. P.
Very neat place right near Buckingham Palace. The breakfast we had was pretty good.
Obviously you have to get some tea and scones. You can buy the old teapots too, which is cool.
F. B.
Perfect and cheap goid English food

Lovely cafe, both the breakfast and afternoon tea were delightful
A. L.
Lovely little quaint place for tea and cake. Great for long conversations over tea! Friendly staff and great service too. Definitely go there again
P. C.
Delicious food. Wonderful atmosphere. Nice and cute interior. I like their full english breakfast. Great teas and coffee. You can also sit outside if you want.
C. S.
Undoubtedly pleasant ambiance. However, ridiculously slow service due to a sudden surge of 8 customers. It took 10 minutes to get a coffee and not even scones after 30 minutes.
S. M.
Definently make a reservation online before trying to come. With that said though, the staff were nice and thier breakfast was great! The interior is very homey and I loved it. We are hoping to come again for afternoon tea!
G. M. L.
Convenient prices for a very English experience with delicious tea and scones. Here my recommendation: try chai latte with either the chocolate or carrot cake :)
L. O.
Food was good but service could be improved. It almost seemed we were ignored in the beginning. Was nice to have some breakfast before going to the ceremony at buckingham palace (10 mins walking)
K. D.
Wonderful experience. Setting is so charming, warm and welcoming. Service was outstanding. Lovely tea and food options. Will definitely be back.
R. C.

M. T.
Nothing fancy here but the staff are beyond lovely and the food is really tasty!
S. H.
Charming, elegant and top quality, everything necessary for an authentic British Tea House. It does get busy as close to Buckingham Palace.
D. T.
Traditional English breakfast and tea. Small but nice.
M. K.
Found this place on my first day in London and came here for breakfast until I left! I got a pot of tea for one and a scone with clotted cream and jam for under 6 pounds. Really enjoyed it here!
A. M.
very friendly staff and good tea, if thats all you care about, then its 5 stars. I didnt like the interiors, I found them old and of poor quality. maybe its just not my taste and I am sure that msny people find it sweet, but I dont like old furniture and grandma-in-the-countryside deco.
A. B.
Traditional English Breakfast and cakes are delicious! Beautiful place to have a relaxing breakfast. Love it!!
L. V.
Great atmosphere and tasty breakfast

Super long wait. Quaint and cute but nothing to write home about. I would pass it and look for something more modern and efficient. Sandwiches were soso but scone with clotted cream was indeed very good.

A. B.
Took a break here for some scones and tea. The service was great, the tea was perfect and the scones were delicious! Glad we stumbled upon this place.
J. w.
Had to ask for more of a teaspoon of tuna in our baguette, asked for them toasted but they weren't and nothing melted, asked for a flat white but was brought something else. Nothing special to report, friendly staff but food could be improved.
T. H.
