Where else can you get a decent salt beef bagel in South East London? Mel and friends run a great cafe. Proper coffee and a great selection of fresh homemade hot and cold foods, sandwiches and cakes. A hidden gem!

I am addicted to the carrot cake and the bag sandwich options make for a great light-ish lunch. The outside seating area is lovely and they make great tea as well. Plus, staff are always friendly and efficient.

Great for a hot chocolate and light lunch/cake with toddlers. Play mats and open space mean they can run around. Great vegan cake options (peanut butter squares are our fave)

Brilliant cafe with lovely owner who is so welcoming. They have homemade cakes and sell food and drinks. There is a huge area for kids to play with boxes and boxes of toys. Me and my son have spent a lot of maternity leave here and really love it.

Great cakes. Proper tea (asked how I liked it - haven’t heard that in years).
Interesting looking snack menu - toasties, soup etc
If only more parks still had cafes like this. Really pleased I was passing. Must come back at lunchtime.
