One of the most gorgeous tasting breakfast ever! Friendly staff...clean cafe. Great start to my morning.

This was a coffee house 12 years and now it's better than ever. Lovely decor with a touch of humour - nice ambience. The Service was top notch and the food arrived within good time. I ordered the breakfast classic aka English breakfast and it was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this place for an English breakfast. The Latte froth art was a nice touch served in a nice sturdy tea cup with saucer.

My wife and I moved nearby to Two Magpies in the pandemic and frequented there every single day for a coffee and occasionally food too. Everything from the coffee to the sandwiches to the staff are absolutely wonderful, the quality is consistently at the top and never slipped and it all made our day whenever we walked through the door. You will never find a nicer and more hard-working group of people running a local cafe I can guarantee you that. Thank you for all of the fantastic visits we had there, you got us through the pandemic, that's for sure

I amazed ! I was looking for some place where I can get some healthy food. The menu was based on British popular options, however each was very rich in variety and quality. Definitely worth the set prices (around 10 gbp for each breakfast, more or less). The only disadvantage here is lack of WiFi. In short : Friendly staff, professional customer service, delicious food and very short waiting time. Is there a better place for a healthy breakfast in London ? Definitely give this one a go !! My favourite place to come for pecan nut pie and ice cream. It’s amazing. My kids love the royal breakfast - chips and hash browns included with lots of beans and decent halal sausage and Turkey rashes. Lovely waitresses too

Best brunch place in East London? Perhaps. Definitely the only place to get a decent coffee on commercial road and the eggs/breakfast options are just delicious. They do halal options too, just be sure to specify that you want halal. Absolute gem.

Service was great and the for arrived very quickly. They were able to provide something on the side for my 2 year old child. The wrap I had was massive and the chips were perfect. This was a bit of a hidden gym, having missed our reservation for breakfast at The Ivy we took a stroll from out Airbnb and stumbled upon Two Magpies Cafe. It looks almost out of place where it's located and is very 'instagram / retro' styled inside. However the menu has most bases covered, the eggs Benedict are delicious and filling. The draw back is downstairs is very dark and cramped and in the age of contactless payment Two Magpies is cash only. There is an ATM accross the road.

I ordered eggs on toast { poached} eggs were cooked to perfection and not just blitzed in a microwave which is normally what you get when you want poached eggs! A light sprinkle of watercress which oddly for me really set off the flavour of the eggs. The Colour of the yokes was an obvious indicator of the freshness of the eggs. I will definitely be returning to this lovely little cafe as the day time menu looks very good!

I love this place and have been for brunch and breakfast many times since it opened under a different name a few years ago. It was a much needed cafe for this neighbourhood. My only request is pease put a clear sign next to the till regarding minimum card payment of £10 to avoid embarrassing situations like I just had when in a rush. Otherwise keep up the good work.

The place is a little small, but once you get a table, it's not too bad; and take note(s): the payment is in cash only! Wow, what a place! The whole menu is to die for, I eventually ended up mixing elements from two things because I wanted it all! The presentation was amazing, as you can tell in the photos - it was actually lovely to have some fruit at the end of the meal, a token addition to the plate. I'd recommend the fresh juices, so much better than something bottled. The service can be a bit slow especially when busy, but if you ask, you get. If you're looking for a wonderful breakfast, lunch or something in between, I wouldn't have any doubt about choosing this café.

A cosy little place right next to the Troxy concert venue, went there for brunch with a bunch of friends. We had a table booked for 10 and something like 20 of us showed up, but it wasn't a problem at all; in fact, we got the whole basement to ourselves. Friendly, competent staff, big breakfast portions, and very tasty too. We were all very satisfied with our food. I recommend this place!

I don't know where to begin: the welcoming, efficient staff; the rich coffee; or the large and delicious portions. Hands down one of the best brunch places we have ever been to - an experience made all the sweeter for the fact it was accidental!
