An Urmston institution! Amazing owners, who care deeply about their customers and our great town. Been going here since as far back as I can remember, and my Grandma used to love the place. Once a year they used to put on a free lunch around Christmas time for regular customers (not sure if this is still the case), and the owners often fund-raise for charitable causes. Give back to the community, and the community will give back to you. Top-notch and consistent quality food, quality service, and no nonsense. If you're after a skinny soy frappaccino, you won't find it here! :) A gem of a

Iconic Urmston Cafe, consistently good food nice friendly Staff a working Man’s bit of alright, but I know what your thinking why only a 3 Star…. it’s started to become a Magnet for Urmston’s Drug Addicted Homeless, one blokes Jaw was sticking out so much the other day a Pigeon had made a nest in it and laid an Egg. If you can find your way across the sea of Body’s in sleeping bags without tripping over you get a free Coffee, now I don’t know if it’s the Old Biddy’s feeding them Toast or shedding some loose change but the situation is getting out of control. You know it’s getting Bad when 2 Pigeons have put a sign up “Please don’t feed the Tramps”

Superb cafe. Been going all my life....Very friendly staff. Owners are great and food cooked to order and fresh. Not trendy or sexy to look at but from the heart and I love it. Liver and bacon.....love it....even the fish and chips is very good.... And it's in the middle of town centre not by the seaside. Specials are proper home cooked food and the salads are fresh and big portions. A landmark place to eat in Urmston. Just like going g home. Lost a star because it's not the pretty to look at but the food and staff are amazing

I uses to come here as a little girl. Travelled to Urmston today as it was my Grandad Jacks 1yr Anniversary and he used to visit County Grills every single day and sit outside with his friends smoking like a trooper! Todays food was amazing, cheeseburger chips and gravy! socially distanced felt safe & staff were fabulous. A lovely afternoon.

Favourite place in Urmston to grab lunch. It's been going 36 years and you can see why. No frills food for very reasonable prices. The staff are always lovely, despite usually being rushed off their feet. You never have to wait long to get your food, eating in or taking out. Not a massive amount of room if you have a pram but the end tables do have just enough room. Would recommend to anyone :)

I've always had liver and onions here whenever I'm in town since the 70's, tastes as good now as it was then. Good homely food, and if I'm not mistaken, it's the very same chef!

Called in today and was so happy to see mathew and Tom still turning out fantastic food after 40 years when i worked there . And nothing is too much trouble for the staff .if you want great traditional home cooked food you will not be disappointed. Well done county grill.
