Haven't been in Urmston for quite a while. . Was Happy to see Lily's was still there and didn't seem too busy. As we had time for a quick bite of lunch. . Ordered 2 coffees, a Fetta and Olive sharing platter with a side of Garlic bread. Thinking this would be both Tasty and Quick. Coffees arrived within a couple of minutes. . But it took over Half an hour before the Platter arrived. Coffees and Food were Great. . Just a shame it took so long that we couldn't enjoy it as much as we'd like.

Been to Lily's 3 times and will probably go again. The food is lovely although it's a very long wait usually. The older lady on the till is quite abrupt and was the last time I went. The dessert selection is quite basic when I've been. Overall a nice place with a fantastic menu selection just wish the staff were more pleasant.

When visiting from Australia, we always enjoy popping into Lily’s for coffee. This year, having not been able to come for over two years, we treated ourselves to afternoon tea. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent - a generous selection of tasty ribbon sandwiches, freshly made scones and delicious cakes was beautifully presented, whilst the bottomless tea was served in fine china, making the whole experience a decadent treat and for a very reasonable price. One of the nicest afternoon teas I have ever had!

What a lovely place. We had s large latte a pot of tea and a teacake, which came to £8. Reasonable i think. Just needed a saucer to put my spoon on.

Been here a few times now. It's so important to keep local small businesses open. We chose this over the costa to support local business but to be honest the food, menu options and drinks are far superior. (I was a chef for 20 years too so I know a little) Staff are always friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy too with outside seating.

Lily's is awesome, great food, great drinks, a gorgeous venue and very friendly. My family and I meet here pretty much on everyone's birthdays, for a breakfast gathering. The best part about it is they have evening events on as well. Wine tasting, jazz nights to mention a couple. I hired the venue for my 50th birthday party. They took on the mammoth task of providing everyone with afternoon tea, which included children's, gluten free and vegetarian. They have a beautiful piano, and recommended a guy to play and sing during the evening, it was great. They also have a bar of you fancy a little tipple. I would highly recommend a visit to Lily's.

I’ve visited Lily’s a few times recently and it’s been very hit and miss. Some food has been outstanding and other food has had to be sent back as it’s so poor. Most recently I visited for afternoon tea. It was all delicious apart from the scones which were dry. I’d have preferred to have the jam and cream served separately as there was far too much on the scones. The staff are generally pleasant although one or two could do with some improvement as they are quite unfriendly. Seating inside is too cramped given the current social distancing issues and it does not feel as though there is enough space, particularly when passing other tables.

Great experience. Lovely decor. Plenty of seating. Impressed by the availability of clean highchairs. As a sufferer of Coeliac Disease I am normally left feeling disappointed with the usual gluten-free (GF) choices when eating out but I was offered a large selection as they were willing to provide numerous GF products. I also had home-made GF lemon drizzle cake, which I have to say was lovely. The only negative is that the food was served on a wooden board and I don't think these are generally advised for serving foods to coeliac sufferers. The lady who served me was pleasant and kind and we had a nice chat. Very happy with my good and experience here. Would definitely recommend. Update: visited July 2021 and still as good. Lovely GF toast with scrambled egg. Lovely man served me and was so pleasant.

Great service, staff could not do enough, and no complants re a screaming child banging a spoon and bowl together. Food great...but it was just too hot. It was stifling in fact. I appreciate it's January but it wasn't very cold out at all. Temperature was all wrong. Wouldn't go back because of this

My husband and I visit Lily's often and I also take my disabled daughter sometimes too. The service is always very good. The food is of a high standard, great value for money and the atmosphere is always lovely. Nothing to complain about at all.

Popped in for a late lunch snack, tuna melt panini which was nice, good amount if filling. Personally would have preferred the melt a bit more melted(cheese was still almost slice shaped), but still very nice. They also had my favourites, pastel de nata, which were better than a lot you get in the U.K. Probably not the cheapest place to eat, but worth paying a little more for good food.

Stopped in the other day with my mother in law. What a lovely cafe! If you're looking for a snack in Eden square, forget Greg's and costa - this is where to go. We had the soup and the bruschetta, plus two orange hot chocolates (!) and everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back in the evening some time and try the tapas and wine.

My family and I were in Urmston visiting a relative at the local hospital, we parked our car in the centre, we were very impressed with the 3 hour free parking we also very impressed with the whole town it’s very well organised, we then came upon Lily’s a cafe bar which I can only say was a revelation really friendly service, warm welcome, good very reasonably priced food and drinks I would highly recommend it Thank you Urmston!!!

A lovely little place. Lilys at Eden is a coffee shop / restaurant / wine bar located in the Eden Square shopping centre in the heart of Urmston. There's a fantastic selection of sandwiches, panninis, jacket potatoes and other light meals, plus cakes and the usual selection of teas and coffees. It's really nice inside, and on nice days you can sit outside in the square and watch the world go by. A real asset to Urmston.
