My first visit here. I found it on my bike ride what a great place to stop for a coffee and cake. The staff are really welcoming the coffee is good and so is their food, I will definitely be calling in again.

I only stopped in for a drink this time but the home made sausage rolls were calling to me. They looked really tasty! The staff were very polite and helpful so I'll be back. It's been nice watching the business grow from coffee sold from a small trailer to the purpose built container and nice seating area they've got now. It'll be a great stop on anyone's walk when summer really comes round again. I'd love to see a list of cold drinks available to save having to peer over the counter (hence the 4 stars) but it's perfectly possible I failed to spot it if it's there already.

Mint little trailer with logs and boxes etc to sit on. Great summer spot, all the cakes etc look like Costco which is no bad thing as they put a really reasonable mark up. Coffee was good, dog friendly as long as they're on the lead. Nice shaded grove to take a break from the heat- one of their seats is an old rowing boat which kids appear to love. Very family orientated and good service.

Had a wonderful afternoon here celebrating for my sisters 40th birthday- the staff were extremely accommodating and let us reserve an area and hang bunting and stored a cake for us. When we arrived after a lovely walk down the Transpennine Trail, we were REALLY impressed with the coffees, cakes and sausage rolls on offer (all reasonably priced)! I have to avoid dairy and they had oat milk and a vegan bakewell slice. They have applied for a toilet license but Trafford council said no (boo!) so the nearest one at the moment is at the Shell garage. To Dane and the team- thank you so much for helping us have such an amazing day!

What a lovely place for either just a coffee and/or a snack. Excellent coffee and the sausage rolls are good and meaty. There is seating outside to enjoy your drink etc. with some tree cover. The place gets busy especially at weekends when the weather is nice, but if you get there early you can usually get a seat. What’s really nice about here is you have to walk to reach it.

Love this little cafe on the banks of the river Mersey. It's part of a 3 mile route my hubby and I regularly do. The cafe has grown a lot since its opening almost a year ago, they have a good variety of food, drinks hot and cold, snacks and a great little seating area, all outside under the trees of course. Barrels and tree stumps for tables large and small, a fab little place to pop into for a pit stop.

We've passed this place many times since it first opened but never called in. Today we'd had a long walk and called in for a coffee on our way home. As the name indicates, Riverbank Coffee is located on the northern bank of the Mersey, close to the Kickety Brook footpath, and can only be reached on foot, bike, or horseback. It's a nice little spot, fairy lights in the trees, and a few interesting bits and bobs scattered around, barrels as tables and a wooden rowing boat by the entrance. The building is a portakabin and it is purely a takeaway. At the side of the hut there's a bike rack, so if you've cycled you can lock your bike up while you have a break. The menu has the usual array of coffees (different types of milk available), as well as hot chocolate, tea, and soft drinks, plus a selection of pies, sausage rolls, cakes, crisps, and chocolate bars. Service is a similar arrangement to Starbucks, where you place your order, are asked for your name (never heard the phrase "ticket name" before), then you wait for somebody to call your name when your drink is ready. Considering the place wasn't overly busy when we went and there were about half a dozen people working in the hut, service was very slow. The coffee itself was fine - nothing remarkable - and it warmed us up ready for the walk home.
