Reviews of Safari narrow boat tearoom

My kids have always wanted to go on a canal boat so it was great to make that happen for them, the boat is super cute! The lady who served us was lovely and welcoming.
There are a few steps down into the boat which were easily done but maybe take into account if you have any mobility issues. My partner was worried he would feel cramped being 6ft 5 but he was fine (even if he felt seasick 🤣 it hardly moves)
The breakfast wasnt my favourite but i will definitely be back for afternoon tea, the cakes looked delicious!

Would highly recommend, the food was delicious and great value for money.
Atmosphere fantastic and what a difference to eat breakfast on the water.
Staff are very friendly and attentive.
5 out of 5 will definitely be going again.

We had such a great time, this was our first time but we were with our good friends and they have been before & love it. It didn't disappoint, the food, the atmosphere, the price, the owners......we couldn't fault them. A quirky little place which people should visit! We even met Larry the cat which came for his helping of ham!!! Purrrrfect, in our eyes!!! Thank you for being so warm, welcoming & animal loving!!!

What a lovely little place. Can be romantic, can be a friend date, can even be something you do on your own.
The key to this place is the fact that they keep the food simple. Very simply, there are no frills. You go here to put food in your belly and to enjoy the atmosphere. The lady serving is lovely making the food all the more nicer.

Friendly staff, excellent food, and affordable. You can sit outside or inside. Perfect place to stop and stay awhile

Great atmosphere but on my visit there was no electricity so limited food and drinks options. It was also fairly cold. I wouldn't recommend visiting on a windy day if you don't like the feeling of a boat bobbing on water.

I've been in Manchester for over 7 years, I'd say I go out often for food. Never new little gem of a place existed, even though I drive past the main road quite often.
We went in autumn, but I can imagine in the summer with the outside seating, it would be really pleasant.
Great Halloween decorations, make the place even more unique.
Great food we had safari tea for 2, and a homemade soup each. Really delicious, and quality ingredients.
This will be my place for full English now.
