I never give reviews, but on this occasion I will. The UpDated Coffee Bar in Middleton is by far the best for food and drinks around. The portions are absolutely amazing. Food cooked fresh daily. The staff are so friendly and they have the best customers too. We have made so many new friends from there. They are also a dog friendly cafe which is a massive plus for me. Thank you.

Such a massively pleasant and welcoming café. The coffee is absolutely perfect- got to be the best tasting coffee for miles! The service is second to none. Cannot fault and would have no issue recommending!

Quaint little coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating, a lived in feeling and good basic offering in menu items. The service is great with a homelike atmosphere, almost like having coffee at a relative. Recommended for a quick bite or cup of coffee.

Visited for a pizza night with the family. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Bruschetta was fresh, homemade and lots of accompaniments. Pizzas were fresh and delicious. Hosts were lovely, easy to talk to and great with my kids. Would definitely visit again 👍

The updated coffee bar is the best place in middleton to go for a drink and bite to eat the service is 5* and the food is amazing!. Would highly recommend popping in one day where you'll be greated with open arms and a smile!.

Bernard & David Father & Son are a Very Hard working family. Nothing is too much trouble to please you. Very Friendly Cafe. Food they provide is second to none. Try Bernard's Bacon Muffins,Jacket Potatoes, and now Pizzas. The Best Cappuccino in Middleton. You won't be disappointed.😋

I ordered an afternoon tea to celebrate my husband's birthday in lockdown today. it was delivered personally by Bernard on a lovely pottery stand. it was so fresh and tasty and has lasted us all day as too much to eat in one sitting. I would definitely recommend this tasty treat to all friends and family. Thank you so much and we will be back - Angela and Graham 👍

Had a lovely lunch with my daughter's and granddaughters. Toasties were lovely and plenty of filling. Bacon bagels yummy. And of course the coffee is best around. Service was excellent and very friendly. Well done.

Never had a less than great visit here. Dad and son team are absolutely delightful: warm, friendly and happy to 'tweak' the menu to suit. Coffee is excellent and the bacon sandwich second to none. Breakfasts are now on the menu, so that's lined up for a tryout! The decor is 'nostalgic front room' and I love the vinyls stuck to the ceiling. Nina Simone on the soundtrack today. What could be more perfect?

Now this place is a must to go see. It's much more than a cafe. It's a meeting friend place, it's a get together no matter if your on your own place. It's our #1 place to go. Food is great and tea n coffee is perfect!
