J. M. (.Still a good place to sit and watch people passing by in Middleton Hall and the drinks were acceptable, but the service was amateur. Customer orders left unfulfilled, dirty tables, everyone having to ask multiple times for sugar, napkins,etc. Not really up to John Lewis standards, they would be better off getting a better franchise to take over the space.
G. F.Good alternative to the JL place to eat if you fancy a lite bite. Serving Italian coffee and small dishes the quality is very high but then again so are the some of the prices.
The fresh salads are lovely as are the Piazza’s. I didn’t have desert or cake but they looked equally appealing.
Plenty of room to sit down. You order at the counter and then it becomes table service as you are given a number.
Get a seat by the window so you can people watch down into Middleton Hall. This view is particularly attractive when the Christmas show is on.
Unfortunately being an independent cafe you cannot redeem your John Lewis free cake and drink here.
S. L.I’m a regular but todays visit was very busy, hard to find a table but staff were very accommodating, served by a lovely young lady with curly black and red hair, will be back during the week when it’s preferably less busy!!

C. T.Good Food and an upmarket vibe, Fruit scone was lovely although with jam and cream was £4.20 so although good, it is still just a scone... If you want a swanky feel with all the copper and art deco look then this is the place, will go again but would suggest they review some of the pricing, not all.
