Reviews of Dreamworld Cakes Patisserie

Absolutely gorgeous place. In awe at the decor on the inside I just had to take photos for my Pinterest board. The staff are so friendly and patient (new customer so took a while to decide!). Food is delicious! Just looking at the array of sweets on display had me starving. I couldn't resist buying some of that artisan chocolate. I will say though that I was disappointed that the sourdough looked like plain old toasted white sliced bread, was hoping for a proper crusty chunk of bread. I would come here again.

The cakes here were nice and everything was beautifully presented but very expensive at £4+ each.
The Nutella eclair was tasty but the texture was not like normal choux pastry. The pistachio and custard roll was good too.

This cozy place is phenomenal! The best pastries I’ve had in Toon. They offer a great variety of pastries and desserts, a perfect place for afternoon tea! The staff are friendly, welcoming and smiling.💛💛💛💛💛

Hidden little gem in Stepney Lane! Visited in the afternoon and had a brunch and macarons/cake to takeaway! Very delicious food and friendly staff!

Lovely little place! We had an afternoon tea, I loved that it was a little bit 'different' and not just the usual flavours. We enjoyed everything on it and bought some extra cakes to bring home which were presented in a lovely box. Excellent friendly service.

A unique and cosy atmosphere and probably the best afternoon tea I've had, absolutely delicious. Just the right amount as well, feeling quite full and satisfied afterwards without too much waste. You can buy the cakes and patisserie from counter display. Very popular as customers kept coming in and the display kept getting restocked.

The cake we had was absolutely amazing. It was truly a next level wedding cake. Dreamworld cakes would highly recommend. Also make sure you go to their cafe as it serves amazing coffee and sweety treats. Wedding favours we had we so so nice!!

Awesome little patisserie in the heart of the Ouseburn area which is becoming more and more of a happening area. Opted for a flat white with an amazing chocolate éclair and a cappuccino with a pain au chocolat. It has seating inside and out or you can get items to take away and they box the pastries for you. Unfortunately there wasn't a great deal of selection there when we went, but what we had were spot on. Had been meaning to go here for aaaages - will definitely be back.

Delicious, it is the art of sweets, the taste is harmonious, I do not want to finish the piece of its deliciousness

Didnt sit in but the desserts were incredible and the staff were really kind and attentive. Worth it just to eat some fancy desserts that look like something out a movie.
Had raspberry tiramisu, berry cheesecake, chocolate swirls.

We were given vouchers for an afternoon tea. The tea consisted of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, mango cheesecake, chocolate square, macaron, and a forest fruit choux bun, served with a hot drink of choice.
All was delicious, especially the choux bun.
Staff were pleased to help, and made us feel welcome.
We hope to visit again.

Nice and beautiful cakes! The best I like is the sweetness level is perfect, not too sweet! Because I am a person who doesn’t like the dessert very sweet 🥰

Little hidden gem! Didn't expect to find such a place in Newcastle. Beautiful cakes and friendly staff. Ideal for anyone who looks not only for something delicious but also creative and fun to try.

Absolutely outstanding! Up there with the very best patisserie I've had. Love it.

Visited for an afternoon tea and had a great time.
In some places, gluten free options can be a bit sad. At Dreamworld, the gluten free option was amazing, with a substitution for all the gluten containing options. The food was delicious, with beautiful presentation - portions were generous as well, left absolutely stuffed!
Would highly recommend, even just for stopping by to pick up a patisserie!

Awesome cakes and friendly, helpful staff. Outdoor area is small but perfectly spaced. Not suitable for groups larger than 3 in my opinion but perfect for couples and small groups stopping for a quick bite.
Coffee is awesome but no where near as good as the ham and cheese croissants and cakes. Macarons are top notch; light, full of flavour and great texture.

A beautiful tiny place! Friendly staff, amazing cakes! And drinks. I would pre book as not many seats but it's definitely worth a sit in

Today was our first time to visit Dreamworld cakes. Just like the photos on their website; the cakes look really beautiful in real life and they tasted incredible too! They just reminded me of cakes from Hungary and Vienna - beautiful and delicious! We are so happy to find this place not far from us and will be going back again because eating their cakes just felt like we are on holiday and I can’t stop smiling now that I’ve had it! Absolutely love Dreamworld cakes and just really love what you bring to Newcastle too.

We had a celebration cake for my Mum's 80th from Dreamworld, prepared by Bernadett. It looked and tasted fantastic. Brilliant service from them in arranging for the cake and agreeing the decorations. No hesitation at all in recommending Dreamworld.

I discovered this wonderful and peaceful place before lockdown and I gladly came back again. Great service and wonderful sweets. I always have a problem what to choose because there are so many different cakes to choose from. Everything is colourful and so delicious. Definitely worth it to visit. 🥰

I had a take away passion fruit meringue tart today and it was gorgeous. Reminded me of the tarts I used to scoff whilst studying in France. Well worth the money! Looking forward to going back and trying something else

The cafe is very quaint and cosy but better suited to small groups. The quality of the deserts were absolutely phenomenal and the place smelled divine. The service however what a little lacking.

Lovely brunch menu, an amazing selection of cakes, very nice coffee and very friendly staff, what more could you ask for 👍

Delightful patisserie and lovely staff. Lovely to stop by and have a coffee or tea. We normally take away something for later as well. 😁

I have ordered from these several times now and I'm blown away each time by how delicate, detailed and flavoursome the desserts are. The fudge especially is mind blowingly delicious!
