D. W.Small coffee shop. Tight space, quite cramped. Wouldn't say its relaxing to sit in, as its quite echo-ey.
but its a starbucks so drinks-wise you know exactly what you are getting.

I like that if you are eating-in they serve drink and food in glass plates and cups, it gives it a nice touch.
In terms of quality, you know what to expect from this Seattle-based coffee franchise.

However the staff were really friendly and the place was clean and they were organized(organise order to not let them wait). But however we enjoyed our time there. Def come back.

Process for ordering drinks is slow.
The machine didn't work for accepting the Starbucks reward card simply and quickly. Needs fixing.
P. B.Go there a few mornings a week for a white mocha or an iced tea (I've got a sweet tooth). If I get lucky, Donna will be on the till and she really makes the place special. Always makes sure I get my points on my card and makes each order individual. Other staff are good but nowhere near Donna's level.

Downside, they had run out of fruit toast☹ easily made up for by the cinnamon bun which they heated up for me. It was a real treat. Coffee was lovely, toffee nut latte is one of those festive specials but the best bit was the customer service. Five stars all the way.

K. B.Starbucks is great for having consistency with there coffee ordered a decaf capchino tastes great not too strong. Tables were getting cleaned while quite period waited less than 2 minutes for my order very clean and friendly staff. The toilets could do with a sign to point people in the right direction.
M. P.My favourite Starbucks in Newcastle. Line tends to move quickly, drinks don't take long, staff is always ready! The interior is nice and cozy. It is small compared to most Starbuckses but at the same it makes it more comfortable to sit down for a drink.
E. C.Always a pleasant Starbucks to visit. The interior is fresh and modern, quite recently refurbished. It has good air conditioning and is comfortably cool on a hot day. It's roomy enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs to move about easily.
There's a good mix of seating and tables so you can usually find something suitable for what you want to do, work at a table, or relax in soft seating. There is also seating outside if you want to watch the world go by on Northumberland Street.

J. T.Well the company I used to work for was only about 5 mins walk a big Tesco supermarket, which had a Starbucks coffee shop. I used to go there sometimes simply because I developed a passion for their shortbread biscuits.
Even though I do not work for that company now I still buy Starbucks shortbread biscuits.
J. R.Come here most mornings for my coffee before work. Staff are lovely, always know what I'm after and have it made fast. Love my iced caramel macchiato!
S. W.Nice staff at this site. App makes pre-ordering and paying a dream. Prefer Costa for actual coffee drinks but the sweetened, creamy, concoctions from here are fine. A plain espresso, Americano or Flat White is not Starbucks forte. Their beans just aren't anywhere near as good quality as other chains or independents. Not a fan of their tax dodging practices either. Legal loophole or not. Get some ethics.
A. R.The location is superb where the university (of Newcastle) campus is only a stone's throw away...however, staff need more training. I ordered a Grande latte xhot. I was tended a smaller size, called Tall. Little warm too.😔

A. A.This place is in a good location in the town center and close to Newcastle University , Northumbria University and many local shops.
The only down side is that , recently they adjust the size of some of their sandwiches without making announcement and the size became smaller a little bit with the same previous price. So for that I am giving them only 3 stars out of 5.
