G. C.Visiting from California and South Africa, we walked in and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Coffee was far superior to Starbucks, and baked goods were fantastic. I recommend you book for hi tea a day in advance and the Baker will specifically bake for you
S. P.Had my baby shower here on Saturday and I’m really happy with how things went. Around 30 of my friends and family came, and all commented on how lovely the setting was and how beautiful the food was. A great selection of food and catered to everyone’s tastes. The girls were great, very accommodating and friendly and whatever I needed they helped with. Will definitely be recommending Rogue Fox Coffee House to all of my friends and family and will be back again for some more delicious food and coffee. Thank you so much!
A. P.Nice little tucked away independent cafe in Newport. Has a front section with tables and chairs and a couple of big comfy sofas at the back, where I could quite happily sit all afternoon. Good coffee and decent food. The only thing that could be improved is the noise from the kitchen, which opens directly onto the sofa area, including totally different music to what's being played in the cafe.
C. C.14 of us celebrated my daughter's birthday; the breakfast/brunch buffet was superb. Food was excellent (hot and tasty) and plenty of it!!
The people who work there are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
Will definitely be going there again and would highly recommend it.😊

W.Had afternoon tea with my girlfriends, it was absolutely amazing fresh fruit scones with cream and jam, iced slices, cake, Brioche buns with cream cheese and salmon, the only thing I would change slightly was it was quite cake and sweet heavy could have done with some crisps or nuts maybe. Staff were very friendly and helpful, as my friend had misplaced her voucher. Great value for money bought as a Christmas present 🎁 👌 will definitely be visiting again 😊

Comfy, well decorated and with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend as the perfect place to grab a hot chocolate and shelter from the rain while waiting for a friend to arrive at Newport station.
M.Interior is nice, lots of plants, very green. Bench seats are uncomfortable. There are sofas at the back, though and other seating is available. Kitchen sometimes closes for private functions so hot food is not guaranteed. Cake available.

b. p.The best coffee shop in Newport. The staff are incredibly friendly and make every effort to get to know their customers. I go as much to see the staff as I do for the coffee and cake! As well as some delicious toasted sandwiches and salads, this place sells the best vegan cake I have ever tasted and I've tried a lot of vegan cakes! The chocolate and avocado cake is so good! You get a real homely, community vibe from the staff and the local regulars and the decor and style is gorgeous. Personally I love the big cactus in the shop window, I've heard it's named after a customer which is testament to how great this place is

Friendly, helpful staff and very comfortable surroundings all added to a fantastically relaxed atmosphere. Only slight annoyance is that it's difficult to park nearby. All in all, well worth a visit.

Staff were so friendly& offered to watch my push chair well I took my daughter & went out of their way to hold the door & my drink so I Could get the pushchair in & out :) it was very welcoming & my hot chocolate was actually HOT unlike in a lot of coffee shops. Will definitely be back for a proper visit :)

c.Called in or a coffee together with my wife last week. Having ordered and received a coffee I quickly realised that drinking a coffee right then was not a good idea (health issues) so I took it back to the counter and asked for a herbal tea instead expecting to pay for this replacement. The owner immediately replaced my drink and refused payment - a thoughtful gesture and great service. This small local independent deserves local support - pop in when it's quiet

K. T.Love that they have loads of kids books to keep my littlw boy entertained. Was very clean and presentable, staff we very quiet and didn't make us feel very welcome tho, not rude but just seemed hard to make conversation and they send to avoid eye contact. Also there not even one vegan saviory option, which in 2018 is insane. I would like to give this place a second chance as i know everybody has their off days but with no lunch options for my family and I doubt we will.
