Great little 1940s themed cafe. Good choice of drinks, snacks and lunches. Dairy, Vegan and gluten free options available. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend

Absolutely lovely interior, I fell in love the moment I walked through the door. Such a lovely lady behind the counter, understanding and polite. They had a large verity of gluten free food & deserts which was great for my girlfriend.
Definitely going to be coming here often

We came in today had some sandwiches, coffees and drinks. Food was really nice, service was quick and friendly. We liked the 1940s theme with some interesting bits to look at while here. The bonus as well was they are dog friendly. Many Thanks.

Went here today with my mum. The food was delicious and what made even better was that I didn't need to worry what I could eat as they had a great Gluten Free range. Lovely friendly atmosphere will definitely be returning soon.

Fantastic café with lovely staff. The cakes are scrumptious and the savoury food is just as good.

Lovely staff and lovely place. Food was OK, but very expensive for what we got portion wise..
a bit mean... was a bit of a disappointment when it came. 2 tiny tomatoes on a breakfast, a few tiny cut up mushrooms and 1 piece of toast 1 bacon is a bit laking for the cost, rest of the breakfast was OK. But I could of done better at home which defeats going out. Drinks were lovely! It was very nice to have something a bit different. Overall could be so much nicer if a bit more effort was put in to food. I'd go for a coffee again for sure but not a meal.
Before someone responds saying you should have said at the time. I just want to point out that you shouldn't have too. Others have mentioned about portion sizes and adding things to breakfast to make it better. When they said that they mean for the price they paid it could do with another bacon, not that they want to pay more for another slice. Having seen other reviews it's would be great for it to be taken on board and changed consistently without putting it back on the customer, as that's a real put off for any customer.

What a truly lovely quaint cafe with the most tasty toffee nut lattes, we were made so very welcome and gifted a latte as we are currently walking the whole UK coast path for charities mind and children in need..fully recommend this gem in the middle of Newport !

My friends and I stopped in for breakfast during a fly-by break to the Isle of Wight. I'm a coeliac and we were struggling to find somewhere we were confident could cater for me, when I happened upon this cafe during a scroll through Google Maps.
What a find!!! The ladies who served us were absolutely wonderful - we could have chatted for ages! They couldn't do enough to help and even managed to find a bag of my favourite tea, Assam.
We had big, delicious breakfasts (I had 2 fried eggs and baked beans on gluten free toast, a pot of tea and the biggest slab of chocolate cake anyone has ever given me...along with a slab of Millionaire's shortbread to-go and a slab of bakewell cake, also to-go. Oops!).
My God, the cakes were good. Especially that bakewell cake.
Thank you so much, ladies, for giving us the best possible start to our day! Keep up the good work! If I come to the IoW I will be coming straight to you!

Driving past & popped in, fancied a coffee.
Once in, coffee became coffee & bacon, brie & cranberry panini.
Sat in lovely little garden, surrounded by flowers in the sun.
Prompt service with a smile
Luckily, only saw fab cakes as leaving or might still be there!

Lovely place ,staff friendly ,the ww2 decor makes a change from the usual and the black pudding was very nice (if you like that sort of thing )

Lovely setting, first visit and sat in the garden. Panini and friends baguette really enjoyed. Mix up on drinks but no big deal. However, we finished with ice creams which could have been drunk through a straw. Found out after that their freezer was struggling on the hottest day of the year. Whilst I understand, they should not have served let alone charged for the ice cream cones. We would have opted for cakes instead. However, not enough to put us off, still beats visiting a coffee shop chain.

Excellent choice for people with coeliac disease, which is very rare. Delicious cakes and I strongly recommend the strawberry milkshake. Allergies and intolerances are catered for and prioritised.

A delightful garden. Quick service and good food.

The food was lovely but expensive for afternoon tea package when looking at prices advertised on board. Service wasn't what you would expect for cost paid. Recommend buy off menu than pay for package.
P. H.
Very nice place they have a smashing garden so you can enjoy your coffee and cake very reasonable prices enjoy.
