The Best Costa Coffee In Northampton Came Here At Lunchtime While I Was At Work Experience Was A Bit Busy At Lunchtime. Two Floors Upstairs Seating Which Was A Plus Bonus. Hard Working Well Mannered Friendly Staff Great Customer Service. Me Hot Chocolate Was Creamy And Yummy. Me Toastie Was Nice and Hot. Relaxed Environment. I Sat Upstairs. This Costa has excellent upstairs seating, accessible via an iconic spiral staircase. The interior looks great and there are many seats by the tall windows, looking out onto Northampton's town centre. The downstairs always feels a little cramped and I feel that the staff are sometimes a little slow fulfilling orders, but nobody is ever just standing around doing nothing. Every time I come here it's busy, I think the slower service is more to do with how popular this Costa is. The staff handle the large influx of customers very well, they never seem to take any frustration out on customers. It's a great place to sit and chat l, enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate with friends or family. Many people take their laptops and do their work here - there are plenty of electrical outlets with which to charge your devices. There's a code to access the toilet, though, so make sure you keep your receipt as the code is printed at the bottom.

Good, quick service. The shop is following current restrictions well and has both NHS Track and Trace and Costa Track and Trace posters available. The hand sanitiser is the cheap and sticky kind, but toilets are available with soap on the ground and first floor.

Good coffee, good service. I've been here multiple times and have never had anything bad, even when the place is packed, the service is still quick without lowing the quality. Great place for breakfast and lunch especially if you need to get work done.

It was nice and cosy as most costas are. The only down side was my girlfriends coffee wasn't very nice. BUT, when we made the staff aware they fixed it and were very polite about it. All in all, it was clean and there were lots of seats available. I would go back.

Michael Simpson is absolutely brilliant. Always welcoming, smile on his face and all round nice man. Michael always goes the extra mile to ensure you have a satisfying visit, he should be commended for his professionalism, barista skills and patience (with new staff and awkward customers) . Promotion and pay rise is not enough.

Dark haired barista with glasses always serves my coffee cold (lattes are meant to be hot). Apart from the cold coffee, everything’s fine. Will stick to the other Costa’s around it tho. They serve me coffee at the correct temperature.

Best costa in Northampton, has an upstairs section where you will nearly always find a quiet place to sit and enjoy your coffee. Downstairs can be a bit too busy and noisy at times, which isn't good if you are trying to have a conversation. Usually standard of coffee at normal costa rates. Good cake selection also available here most of the time

This Costa is as you expect from the chain, the coffee is the same along with the food. This store offers plenty of seating both with a downstairs and upstairs area plus outside seating. Located in the heart of the town centre on Abington street which is handy.
