This is a hugely popular little bakery/coffee shop on the corner of a very unassuming street. A completed unexpected gem. The food smells extremely nice and friend report the taste lives up to the expectation your nose create. Unfortunately being a bakery, not much in the way of gluten free product for me, but this is a small bakery and I think it is realistic not to offer everything. I went in for a coffee, and I have to say it was one of the nicest brews I've had for a long time. There was a queue and a wait for the coffee, but it was worth it!! Again this is a small and popular place, I think some queuing is unavoidable.

exceptional sandwiches!!! I came for the scotch eggs which, they only do on Sunday's so had a sandwich... which was beyond comprehension in how good it was. Fresh baked bread (on site), egg sausage and bacon. I understand now why there is often a queue!

I have been here twice so far and I've never been to a friendlier place. The food I cannot fault one bit, yummy, homely and scrumptious. The drinks are mainly tea and coffee but a great variety for all to try, including those with who don't like milk. Coconut milk here chocolate is to due for...my own personal opinion! The place can get super busy but don't disheartened because once you've tried this place you won't mind the wait or sharing a table with others.

Great food and great staff. Julie is lovely and very personable. The cakes, pastries and coffee are the best I've tried, very buttery. I've tried most the vegan food too, which is awesome. I especially like the hazelnut mocha, which the wife dubbed (ferrero rocher in a mug). You pay for what you get, and that's so very true with this place. Never been let down by anything. Scotch Egg Sunday is a must. I wish I could go every Sunday! Support local, always. This place, especially deserves it during the lockdown rules. Always service with a smile and will always be returning customers.

Great sandwiches whether you are a meat eater or a vegan; I have eaten both! Specials change every few weeks and the fillings are really creative. All the bread is baked on the premises and I have now added a weekly sourdough loaf to the shopping list. Very good coffee too. Haven't found anything in Northampton that compares.

It's a truly superb and unique place ran by delightful people. No its not the cheapest but its the finest bakery products and a real treat for your taste buds. I always get the impression that every product has had the utmost effort put in to it. If you haven't been yet... Why!?

Quiet little cozy place, pretty good coffee and pastries. Didn’t help that the day we came it was raining hard so outdoor seating wasn’t an option, but that’s nothing against the bakery. The menu is limited but that’s good, plus they keep changing it to keep it fresh. Quite different menu to your regular cafe. Friendly staff, good service. Recommended.

Super cute! Superb food! Adorable staff and the loveliest Vibe. For me, the fact that they have a special in-house bread which cannot be bought is a big pull! My first bite had me stopped in my tracks as the fluffy texture and aroma really was so good I actually turned in my seat to say 'wow'! I think they sprinkle fairy dust over everything because it tastes sooo good! I always buy their bread but it's often sold out so my recommendation, get there and get eating and buy the bread and support this little hidden gem, you won't regret it. 🥰

Very good quality pastries and sandwiches. Cosy and friendly ambiance, similar to independent cafés in London. Run by a bunch of very decent people. So far have tried the Almond Croissant, Chocolate Tart, Bacon Sandwich. Their Hazelnut Mocha is especially good.

The food and coffee were fantastic. Customer service was excellent and on point. It was a great experience with only one criticisim. My Grandmother has lived there for 60 years and it has never been harder to park a car outside her house due to the true testament and success of the bakery. Also when I bought my nan a cake and bacon sausage roll she absolutely loved it. I asked if she had the food before and sadly not because it's to exspensive for her. I didnt check but I hope there is a OAP discount there or a locals discount given to residents of the road. Other then that my experience with was great.

It's places like this that (almost, there are others) single-handedly make Northampton a deceptively decent town. You've just got to know where to look! My wife and I came here for Sunday breakfast and it was already getting busy around 10am. We enjoyed two oat milk coffees and vegan sausage sourdough sarnies. Lovely stuff all round and it's great to see genuine choice for vegans. It might be worth putting the plant milk options on the coffee menu: soya, oat, and coconut. Seating room was becoming an issue when we left but that's not the bakery's fault. Something tells me that another store or larger premises might be in the offing. There lot's of space in north Upton :) Can't wait for my next visit!

Best coffee in town and run by lovely staff. Sunday mornings with a warm scotch egg, cutting into and seeing the yolk drip out, mmmm. The lunch sandwiches on the pain de mage are legendary, particularly the buttermilk chicken, but the meat free potions are also well worth a try. Apart from the scotch eggs the bacon or sausage sandwiches are very tasty and the smoked bacon and egg sandwich I had the other day was just devine. It I also worth getting your bread there, the sourdough, seeded or plain is excellent and if you have a sweet tooth I would recommend the single origin chocolate brownie.
