Best greasy spoon in town. Always a hearty, full plate for a reasonable price. Staff can be a bit one dimensional, but are always fast (you'll have the food on your table within five minutes of order, even on busy days). The other ones dotted around the town are great too, but this one is next to an old, disused cinema building. It has movie memorabilia all over the walls and a car perched on the roof!

Took my grandson and my other half to Super Sausage II this morning for their first visit, and my first visit in many years, since I no longer live in Northampton. We were not disappointed, it's just as good as I remember it. Big portions at sensible prices and proper thick bacon. Lovely! My grandson loved it and will be bringing his mates when they visit. Best breakfast anywhere. Was sad that the car is gone but the place still looks great 😁

Very pleasant staff, with a smile for everyone. They make a smashing cup of tea, best I've ever bought. The place is spotless. If you do want a cigarette, there are tables outside under the awning. Parking is not too bad for a short stay too.

Popped in here as was waiting for my car to be serviced. Friendly service, a retro rock and roll layout. Ordered an open breakfast bap and it came quickly , was very tasty and huge. I don't live local but this places lived up to its name super sausage.

I had a burger and chips with a cup of tea the burger was served in a large bread roll and you were given a choice of salad items to go in the sandwich when ordering. The chips were nice, big and golden as they should be and the tea not overly strong. If I'm passing through Northampton again I will definitely call again.

A place that I have been to many times over the years, does excellent food (dinners, breakfast and sandwiches). You can pick the breakfast you want, with a very large choice of items including bubble & sqeak. Also good prices. A great spot for a fry-up, staff are friendly and happy to swap items on their standard breakfasts to cater for individual preferences. Good value, Scene 4 with a cup of builder's tea is my favourite :-)

it's a greasy Joe type cafe but does good greasy food when you want it. You can also get some good healthier options is wanted. I frequent this place and have never had any problems with the food quality or quantity!

Great good value breakfast and dinners. They also do takeaways. The quality of the sausage could be better. I would always be happy to pay a few pence more for a meaty sausage instead of you value type. Apart from that, no complaints.

I'm so glad this is not far from me! I bring my daughter here and the staff are so lovely and give a warm welcome, they've started remembering us as well! It is easy to order, completely hassle-free and the prices are fantastic! Food is deliciousand very well presented, it can be trying to get my daughter to eat but she wolfed her food down and ate all of it. You get a very decent portion for what you pay, and I havent left still hungry yet. The decor is great and goves a proper diner feel to the place and completes the homely feel of the place. It is always clean and tidy, can actively see staff taking good care of the place and the seating arrangement makes it very spacious. I remember coming here once in a blue moon as a child and I think it is much better than other diners I have been to just because of how much heart and soul is in everything. Definately a gem in Northampton!

Love it here for "proper food" I always joke with staff that my grandson has cous cous and Julian carrots at home then nanny takes him for a proper fry up occasionally followed by a over iced bun which of course he loves . Staff are amazing always happy to help.

It's ok....feels like a truckers cafe...with road side burger van styled food...yes the restaurant is decorated like a 1950's styled restaurant but I'm not getting the English burger van styled food in a 1950's styled restaurant...we were very confused is it an American diner in sheep's clothing yes... The quality of food was typical of a greasy spoon cafe...the menu needs a totally changed. It would be good to order American styled drinks, and food which suits this typed restaurant....such as a tower of American pancakes drizzled in maple syrup and bacon and milkshakes topped with whipped cream and cherry's not a builders breakfast served by someone who planks it down on the table with no smile just a raffle ticket and they call your number as if you've won a really bad prize. Super sausage II is in an ideal part of town they could win some awesome awards if they changed there menu and had staff wearing 1950's - 1960's clothing. Coffee filled at your table in a glass decanter.

A fairly ordinary fried breakfast style cafe. No noticeable emphasis on sausage with the menu. Ovid thing would be a dish on the menu called "The Super Sausage" which had something about it to make it a bit "Super" in some way...
