Have not been to this cafe for a long time, due to where I deliver, but the food is still top quality. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because part of the lorry park is being used for a hand car washing business, and this leaves a limited amount of space for trucks to park.

Still the best breakfast cafe I've ever tried, anywhere, been coming here since I was a kid. Don't be fooled by the look of the outside, I actually love the fact it's one of the rare buildings in Northampton frozen in time. Incredible food and really polite staff.

Good value for money. Ordered two omelets. One with side salad, other with side beans. Paid only £11 for 2 three filling omelets, with side. Portions were substantial to say the least, They were also very well presented and brought by very nice waitress. Place itself is not top range, yet the meals are amazing. The only thing I'm missing is that the tea and coffee could be served in a larger cups, or with free refill.

I'd give this place a 9 outta ten at the moment because I've only visited once but where do I start . The rustic layout and table setting literally bring you back to an early 90s feel with the food being probably the best I've eaten in Northampton thus far for the price . Really nice staff and nice greasy spoon feel . Absolutely would recommend 100 percent .

I went to the Super Sausage for the first time on the 31st October 2021 and my experience was fantastic! My partner stupidly poured sugar over his food and the waitress without saying a second word replaced the whole plate for us (we didn't ask for this or anything)! Whilst we were in the cafe shut and yet they still served a young family who came in past closing time - I don't think i've witnessed more sincere and great customer service :) The food is also great and prices are fantastic. Will 100% be coming back and recommending to everyone in or passing through Northampton.

We love it. We do a father, daughter’s date when all our shifts allow it usually once every few months. Seriously this is where we all want to go. Nothing beats a fry up and time spent with your dad and sisters. And bonus we don’t have to wash up!!! Love, love it. Foods fabulous, staff friendly and funny. Service prompt. Value for money. What’s not to love about the place.

A great place, a truck stop for overnight parking for £10 with includes a £4 voucher towards breakfast. Suitable for all car drivers suitable for anybody, food is fantastic good portions nice people. Be care with pot holes in parking area. Open m-f 0730 to late restricted hours Saturday and Sunday. Worth a visit. Situated behind Northampton rail station.

This is a Greasy Spoon style cafe! And under such a style it does everything you would expect out of a truck stop, and it does it well! Friendly down to earth staff, good simple well made food prepared quickly with plenty of options to choose form or set menus at a great price, with good portion sizing for the money. One concern that always comes to mind with a greasy spoon style cafe is the hygiene... which I'm happy to say is not a concern here as far as I can see. If your looking for a greasy spoon style cafe, stop. This place will do you good!

When you need a decent breakfast this is the place to go. A full plateful and decent coffee! Not a pretty eatery but clean and presentable. Staff friendly and Covid aware

The original and best. The epitome of truck stop greasy spoons right down to the Formica tables with bolted down plastic chairs. The menu has barely changed in the 25 odd years I have been eating there. They stick to what they do best. Simple honest food cooked well at a simple and honest price. They have even introduced a coffee machine and have ditched the powdered brown diuretic they used to serve up as coffee and you can pay by card - contactlessly! Staff are friendly and welcoming. This cafe is what it is, no frills, no pretentions and no sad attempt at gentrification. Great stuff.

It's does a good cup of tea and cooked breakfast. It is a truck stop so ladies be prepared to be transported back to 1950 for toilet facilities less the tracing paper. Come on super s.spend some time and money and be proud of your cafe.

They don't have the high chair there anymore which is abit of a problem for us. Hope they replace the highchair soon. Didn't appriciate getting a light shower from the car wash company as we walked through the car park

The best Brek on the market. If you're in the market for a Brek get down to the SS. I personally recommend the special.. nothing on the market quite like it. This Brek is £3.99 and you get a hot drink to wash it down- on the house. Yum yum, I love a good deal. There's an entire menu of various combinations of brek components to suit your mood so don't worry if you're not feeling like taking down a full monty- get yourself a spesh. There is a Brek for everybody, even veggies. And a 100% non-fried Brek for hipsters. Apparently they do other food aswell so what are you waiting for!!!
