What a beautiful cafe, beyond the trend
Setting the standard, for other cafes, to follow , definitely worth 5 visits and more...it takes a lot to impress me; this cafe is brilliant, decor Gorgeous....
Prices: reasonable, Staff very friendly , you must visit this cafe,
large carpark available... what you waiting for, tuck into a cake and coffee
and write that book...in lovely surroundings. NOW.

This place has just had a refurb, and the prices clearly reflect that. We paid £30 for 3 toasties, coffee, tea and a smoothie. We had to pay £1 extra for coleslaw. If we hadn't it would have literally been the toastie on the plate with absolutely nothing else, so glad I added that, but a bit of salad or a few crisps would have been nice too.
The inside is lovely, and nice that they allow dogs, the seating and layout is much better than before, but still reeling at the prices... But I guess they have plenty of custom, so no need to drop the prices.
The food was nice, and I like the ability to order at the table with your phone.
Service was quick too.

1st visit to this highly rated coffee shop. It’s easy to see why the locals rave about it. Great pastries and cake with a fantastic selection. High quality served nicely and tasty too. Very ordinary coffee that was more froth than coffee stopped it getting 5 stars.

We popped in for lunch before embarking on a hike around the reservoir. Lovely choice of gluten free savoury meals. We decided to buy a cake to eat on our walk but unfortunately only one gf cake. The non-gf cakes looked delicious and the one my husband chose was delicious.

Really hard to review, as food and drinks are top quality and you get what you pay for. Unfortunately location and the fact it’s popular is not great for parking and location, had to wait too long for drinks after being given hot sausage roll which was getting cold while I waited. Need more of a think to handle the amount of people that arrive when busy!!
