Clare made a lovely gluten free cake for my Mum's 80th birthday, with a selection of spring flowers across the top and side. Everyone commented how good it looked. I chose a fruit cake which was moist, full of fruit and just the perfect sweetness.

We often pop to this lovely tearoom for free from goods (mostly chocolate); my daughters enjoy paying and getting change - great people, highly recommend! We'll be having a birthday cake from here too, can't wait to get our teeth into that!

A great selection of gluten free cakes, bread, pies, pasties and a full gluten free eat in menu. Genuine, friendly people creating a welcoming atmosphere. Read the letter on the notice board about the 'true act of kindness'. Gluten free naan bread and pizza bases are the best we've found.

My friend treated me to the afternoon tea which was beautifully set out, with good variety of sandwiches, crisps & side salad followed by lovely warm scones & variety of cakes. The staff were friendly & very attentive, refreshing the tea & …

Food was lovely. The lady and gentleman were very nice. My great grandson who is dairy intolerant was catered for very well. The pizza is such a treat for him when we are out. Thank you we will call again.

Went with mother and daughter in law for afternoon tea on a (heatwave!) week day in July. Staff very attentive and looked after us very well. Selection of sandwiches, savouries and salad, along with beautiful mini cakes and freshly baked scones for our pre-booked tea, along with unlimited tea or coffee and water or soft drinks.. Good value and very unhurried. Especially welcoming of our baby who loved his teddy crisps and jelly! Claire and her parents do a great job here and Dottie's deserves to be popular. We will be recommending to gluten free friends, who don't already know about this gem.

Lots of choice on the menu for vegans, celiacs and non specifics. Food was tasty. Also has a great selection of items for sale including fresh gf bread. We bought a selection of these and they were reasonably priced. Lovely fresh cakes to choose from.

Fantastic place! For the first time in many years I didn't feel a nusance, in fact I felt incredibly welcome. Space and facilities for our 5 month old daughter, who was met with smiles and delight from both staff and customers. To be able to to have a safe full lunch, drinks and take a couple of loaves home for under £22 was a bargain! We will definitely be making the 30min trip again!
Thank you! Xxxx

Excellent café. All food is gluten free but you wouldn't know it, it's so delicious. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Decaffeinated drinks, dairy free etc. High chairs for use too.

Dottie's tearoom is amazing!! The food is always of the highest quality, the staff are so friendly and polite!! The building is spotless and nothing is ever too much trouble!! This is now our "go-to" cafe when we fancy a bite to eat!! Its like going and having dinner with friends!! I highly recommend the coffee and the Panini's however!! The cake is out of this world too!!!
